I saw from the corner of the big balcony a man with a Pistole in his fixing his point on Ragini. Without anything I took her hand and pulled her to me, shouting her name. I ran with her inside and there I heard the next bullet sound and it hit on my right hand. I just ran holding her hand and trying not to loose her and bearing my pain. I stood there as we reached the safe place and looked at Ragini. I hold her and she screamed at me clutching my collar. I saw how she felt unconscious in my arms. I carried her and went to a silent place and called a man to call the police and the ambulance. "Sure sir." "I'm upstairs okay. If the doctor is here help him to find the way. I'm upstairs."
I ran to a room and placed her down and looked at her condition. I could even hear her voice telling me the same.
"Again, it's happening again."
I heard her voice inside my mind and tried to figure out what she meant about it. I left it and concentrated back on Ragini and tried to wake her up. After minutes the doctor came inside and nodded. "This is a police case..." "I know, I called the police they'll be very soon here. Just start... ouch..." "oh lord you've got a bullet inside your arm?" "Don't waste your time doctor one me. Just look after her. Please." "The first priority is to take care of a person who's much injured and it's you but I'll call the nurse and she'll look after her." "Thank you doctor."
We were at the hospital as the doctor had to operate me and Ragini a very unstabil immune system. The doctor came to me and looked at me. "Are you feeling okay?" "Yeah just a little bit dizzy but it's okay." "Good. Recover from this all and I'll give you a perception of medicine and please take this for five days." "Sure." Take care." "Thanks." He went out of the room and let me alone.
I opened slowly my eyes and saw Ragini looking at me. I stood abruptly up and touched her cheek. She just started crying and hugged me tightly. "Nothing happened to you... nothing..." She looked at me and cried her heart out while I pulled her to me. "Everything is okay Ragini. Don't worry everything is over." Time to time her sobbing calmed down and I didn't hear anything. "Ragini?" I looked down at her and realised that she was sleeping in my arms. I stood slowly up put away everything and hold her tightly. I carried her and searched her room and asked the nurse. She showed me her room and I placed her down. "Ragini , what's happening here?" I touched her soft skin and was thinking about the incident." I looked down at her and caressed her cheeks don tucked her hair behind her ears.
I knew that something was bothering her. I knew that she needed someone. I knew that she needed help. But I also knew that she didn't want any help. She wanted to fight alone but I would not let her alone. I was sure that something was wrong, that something was going wrong and for sure I won't let it go like this. I would find out who it was. I would not spare the person that was my promise.
"I will never let you fall like this Ragini." I took her hand and kissed her softly.
"Mr Laksh Maheshwari, Ms Gadodia is doing really well her condition is getting better. You can discharge her today and about yours. It looks good but as I told you don't forget to take your medicine." "Sure doctor and a big thanks." "No mention." I shook his hand and was happy about my and her good condition and stood up to go out of the room. I opened the door and saw her looking straight forward, being in her own world, lost in her thoughts. I sat down and touched her hand and couldn't it actually. She hold my hand for a while. She was just in her thoughts didn't know that she was holding my hand and still I just loved it. Unfortunately she took her hand away and looked at me. "Sorry." "Hey everything's fine." I had a small smile showing her that she wasn't all alone. "Really... I'm so sorry... I don't know what to say... I want you to step out of my partnership and out of my life this is the best for you." She was looking at me and my eyes went completely wide. "Are you kidding me?" "I'm not kidding Mr Laksh Maheshwari. I want you to step out of my life. This is the best for you and for me." "No I won't." She smiled slightly and nodded in disbelief. "Your attitude is appreciable." "I leaned just from you. Of course I won't and can't copy your damn Tycoon- attitude... but still. I can do something." She smiled for a while and nodded. "You won't accept it, right?" "No, I won't leave your side whatever will happen." She looked at me with an intensity that I was just stuck in these beautiful eyes.
"Mr Laksh Maheshwari, I said get out of my life. I don't want anything to happen again... not again." She looked at me and had tears in her eyes, tried to control her tears. "I can't loose someone again. Not in front of my eyes. Please." I hold her hand, pulled her to me and placed my hand on her cheek and bend forward till our breathes were connected, till I could feel her forehead on mine. I looked at her and just said these small words.
