It wasn't long before Hallie and Kai returned to the high mother's home. Kai began to get a different vibe this time as they entered the home. kai mostly stayed quiet and followed Hallie till she stopped in front a familiar door. She then opened the door and nudged Kai inside.

"don't be scared, child. come in." said the high mother.

Kai swallowed the lump in her throat as she slowly advance towards the high mother.

"Y...You wanted to see me, high mother?" Kai asked, a snitbit of fear behind her words.

"Please, Call me Azula. you are my underling now so you must address me like the others. I called you here cause I was given some odd news about you and I just wanted to confirm and get the confusion put away." Azula replied.

Kai had no clue what she was talking about. What news could she have gotten about her? Azula got closer and studies Kai's face closely. Suddenly she held up a vial of blood.

"Do you know what this is?" She asked.

"Uh.. it's blood?" Kai replies.

"Correct but it's your blood. This is what I got from you when you committed to serve me. But I noticed something about you. Your blood is thicker and sweeter then the average human. And I want to know why." Azula said as she circles Kai.

Having herself being circled like a shark out for prey, it made Kai nervous.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just ur average human who was turned into a vampire. My father died when I was young and my mother died when I was a slave to Scarlet. And.. my aunt.. she was killed by Matthew in front of me."  Kai replied.

Azula stopped in front of  of Kai and looked her over. Kai swallowed that lump in her throat. Suddenly, Azula sent her flying into the wall, her cheek burning from the force. Before Kai could recall what happen, Azula picked her up off the ground by her shirt and threw her across the room. Kai had no clue what she did to make Azula act like this. But Azula stayed quiet, continuously throwing and beating her.

"Come on Kai, I know you have a secret. It explains why your blood like this. We just gotta help it out." Azula said.

Kai's flight instinct kicked in as she would try to dodge her "attacks". Kai knew nothing about fighting nor did she know how to defend herself. All she knew was how to survive.

"Come on Kai! Let it out! All those years of scarlet beating you, raping you, letting you nearly die for 3 weeks! Don't you wanna let that anger out? Come on, show it to me. Show me the anger that has built up inside you." Azula shouted.

She kicks Kai down, the girl struggling to get up. Kai just wanted it to be over with. Azula groaned in anger and grabbed a hand full of the girl's hair. All of the sudden, Azula was thrown across the room, crashing into the door, busting it down. Azula smiles brightly as she sat up.

"That's it. Let it out." She smiled.

Kai groaned in pain as she curled into a ball. She could feel her body changing, it was more painful then becoming a vampire. She began to scream in pain as she felt her back began to feel like someone was ripping into her. Azula stood up and watched from afar, proud of her work. Her hair began to grow out a bit, some covering her left eye as her eyes became black, her fangs became sharper, enough to easily tear into whatever she pleases. Her nails grew out, becoming like talons. Her screams became roars and growls as wings grew out her back. Finally her pupils became red, sending fear throughout whoever laid their eyes on them. Azula chuckled as she drew closer.

"So this is the anger that built up inside you over those years. This is the secret you held deep inside you." Azula said.

"What..what did you do to me?" Kai asked.

Azula kneeled down and whispered in her ear.

"I made the real you show itself. This is the real you." She replied.

Kai looked at herself and suddenly an unsatisfied hunger came over her. Azula noticed this too and cups her shoulder. Kai looks at her and received a nod from the woman. A sly smirk came across Kai's mouth as she stood up and left the home. Her wings automatically hid under her new clothes that Azula gave her, the cape mostly hid them from sight. Kai allowed her hunger to lead her to the nearest village, she could smell the blood just coming out the village. She stayed within the shadows, moving along the blackness of the night. She then came across a group of men walking home from a night of drinking.

Kai's POV

they reeked of liquor and smoke of their cigars, But I didn't care. I was hungry and wanted to satisfied my newfound hunger. Scarlet would always control of how much blood I get but this time, she wasn't there to stop me. I always felt hungry, I hated how she would control me even though I was no longer her slave and was allowed to roam free as I please. I waited patiently as one man began to wander off. I would slowly and cautiously follow him, careful to not raise alarm. He stumbled more and more then finally stopped and looked around.

"Hello?" he asked.

I watched him from afar, staying out of his sight. I could just taste his fear slowly rise. He looked around once more and began to continue on his way. I drew closer and closer, purposely brushing just ever so light against him, sending shivers up his spine. He jumped and quickly turned around. I could hear his heart beat getting faster and faster, I just loved it. I wanted more. I decided to give him one more scare then make my move. I knocked over a trash can, the loud clashing of the object hitting the ground made him nearly jump out of his skin. As he turned to see what made that noise, he looked straight at me as I stood there, innocently.

"oh you gave me a scare there, woman. I thought it was a killer out there. What is a..." he said as he looks at me.

I could feel his eyes slowly undressing me as he looked me up and down, I swear men are such pigs. He reminded me of my drunk father, always going after women when he was drunk, nearly driving my mother insane with worry and anger.

"What is a sexy woman like yourself doing out here all alone? Its not safe." he asked.

he drew closer and I allowed him to pin me against the wall of a building. his breath nearly killed me but I kept my eye on the prize. He smiled as he began to feel all over me. I let him have his fun for a few minutes before staring him dead in the eyes. His fear levels skyrocket as soon as he saw my eyes. His voice gone silent as all you can hear was him gasping in fear.

"Have you ever seen death before?" I asked.

he could barely speak but was able to shake his head, telling me no. I smirk as I go closer.

"Well lucky for you, you just met death." I snarled as I sink my fangs into his throat.

Usually Scarlet would only allow me drink half of the prey's blood but since she was not here, I sucked him dry. Once I made sure he was dead, he just drop to the floor. I wiped my mouth on my sleeve. for the rest of the night I drank the entire village dry, finally satisfying my newfound hunger. Why did I do this? its because its time for my Revenge of the night.
