Scarlet looked and stared into Kai's eyes as the innocent look in them was forever gone. All that was left was nothing but rage and sadness. Kai walked to her in silence before stopping in front of Scarlet. Scarlet slowly reached up and touched Kai just barely before Kai pulled away.

"They...did you know about this?" Kai asked, her eyes hiding behind her hair.

"I figured this would happen." Scarlet replied.

Kai grit her teeth. Scarlet touched her arm before Kai slapped it away. Scarlet stood back in shock,surprised by the power behind the slap.

"What else will you take from me? My life, my home,my aunt and mother..what else will you take from me!" Kai screamed as tears fall.

Scarlet stood there in silence.

"You took everything from me! Why didn't you just let me die!?why didn't you just kill me!"Kai continued to scream, not expecting any response from Scarlet.

Kai fell to her knees as her face became stained with tears. She began to punch the ground as the courtyard was filled with her cries. Scarlet grew closer and kneeled down. She gently brushed kai's hair out of her face and cupped her cheek as she uses her thumb to wipe the tears. She then places a kiss upon kai's face before taking kai's hand and helping her up. Scarlet held onto kai's hand tightly as she leads Kai inside then upstairs. She begin to whisper sweet nothings to the younger girl as she leads the Two to her room.

After a long night of sexual fornication,Kai laid in bed staring at the ceiling. She then looks at Scarlet who was passed out next to her, peacefully asleep. Kai felt like nothing but a hallowed out shell. After learning about what happened to her mother...she has no one now. She lost everything in the world. She quietly sat up and got dressed. She went to the roof where she could get fresh air and be alone. She stared at the special ring that scarlet gave her.

"This ring keeps me safe in the sun...safe...nothing is safe." Kai said to herself. "I have no purpose in this world. I have lost everything I have and loved. What's the point of life now?"

Suddenly, Hallie's face popped into kai's mind. Seeing her smile always made Kai feel alive. Hearing her voice would send shivers down kai's spine. Her touch made Kai feel warmth. Suddenly, Hallie was all Kai could think of now. Hallie made life bearable. Then, a evil wicked idea came to Kai. It brought an evil smirk to her lips as she begin laugh lightly.

"All I have to do is escape her grip."
