TAEHYUNG'S POV

I called Yoongi to talk to him about the recent events. "Annyeong Hyung! Have you been able to find out anything about her? And its like we are stuck up we have no leads as of now." Taehyung spoke. "Yo! She surely seems suspicious but I haven't been able to get anything solid so that we can work upon it. Also if she is linked to that case then she must either be getting hold of it to either destroy the evidence or if she is working in our favour then the question arises who is she because the only people who know about this is us, and the Jeon's, so now this means that someone else knows this too and we got to search that." Yoongi explained

"Well Taehyung, can you make sure from Jungkook if there were any more survivors from that day other than him, because this going tricky. I am scared if that girl is against us then we need to be fast.", he asked.

 "I'll ask him again. Bye"

AT THE POLICE STATION

Seong Yuna was investigating a case when Woo Hyun the head of the cyber crime department came up to her. "What are you doing Yuna?" he asked her and she quickly kept aside the files. "Nothing much sunbae. You need anything from me." she asked "I found about the case you were asking me. It was an accident and I didn't find anything  that stood out however there is a chance the evidence was wiped off.", Woo Hyun told. "Thanks a lot Sunbaenim. Well about the attack on the police department. The hackers chose the weakest port and also as far as I remember we had just checked all the computers last month and all our IP addresses are very difficult to break into. Something is going on within the department.", she answered. "Why are you so interested in that accident case though? No one  survived that night.", he intrigued her and she was for a moment stuck on how to answer him.

"It wasn't an accident, it was a murder and that's what I'm trying to investigate.", she replied. "Does the chief know about this?", Woo Hyun asked. 

"Ani.. just trying to gather a few details and if there's something really shady I'll ask him the permission for reinvestigation."

"Yuna-sshi, did you get the virus analysis ?",  Yoongi asked. "Yes I did, here it is",  she said handing out the file to him. Meanwhile, Yoongi caught a glance of the  1999 file on her desk. "Why do you have a 1999 file on your desk?", he questioned her. "Reinvestigating the case",  she said as she went back to her work. "But, why, I mean like, wasn't it clear that it was an accident, what makes you reinvestigate it?" , the boy asked out of curiosity. "Well, I can't answer that question now. But, consider I got a tip off on this case and so I'm reinvestigating." she answered evasively but Yoongi was quick to catch what was hidden behind that and left her with a smile. He knew she was connected to this case as much as they were and this was exciting, and now he had to dig up on this new girl who was apparently tipped of a case that was sorted out in the most cleanest way.  On the way back to his office he messaged Taehyung, "The new lead on this case is the new girl and we will meet up once I find about her in depth, and for that I got to get inside the dark web to find about this dense girl.

Taehyung was talking to Jungkook and Yoon-ah when he got a message from Yoongi, he quickly opened it and was pretty shocked when he realized that the new lead is her. "Jungkook, I'm sorry I keep telling you to recall the events from that night but like I told you yesterday about the girl, she knows it wasn't an accident. And only people close to your family knows what was going on and that it was infact a murder. So I'm trying to figure out on whose side is she actually on" Taehyung softly brought back the topic of that dreadful night once again, he could evidently see how each time Jungkook's eye welled up. He got closer to him and slowly gestured his sister to leave them both alone. 

"I'm sorry Kook-ah, you know I really try my best but you are the only one who knows." The older pats his back as Jungkook tries to recall. It was hard for Taehyung to see Jungkook suffering so much, there wasn't a night when he didn't get glimpses of that dreadful incident. "I'll try Hyung, I'll also see if I can get more information about her on the net." Jungkook replied. "Hyung, I wanted to ask you something?"the younger continued. "Go ahead.."

"It's my revenge if you see, you never told me how you are related to this." he asked and Taehyung remained quiet for a while and then spoke "True, its your revenge but I'm equally related, I had a rough past too and though the incidents were different, it has a common endpoint." he was speaking when a message distracted him Let's meet up near the fountain "Jungkook, I'll tell you the rest some other day, now go take some rest. I know you haven't been sleeping for a while, it shows on your face." the older said and left.

Jungkook had feelings for Yoon Ah for quite sometime now but he avoided it all because he was scared, as much as he adored her, he was worried. He didn't know how Yoon Ah and Taehyung would react if he confessed. Just as he was thinking about her, she slowly knocked on his door and whispered silently "Jungkook, are you awake?", Jungkook who wasn't wearing a shirt quickly jumped out of his bed and put on a shirt and opened the door. "Why are you so worked up so late at night" Yoon Ah asked giggling and Jungkook stood embarrassed "Nothing much anyways what did you come for?" 

"I couldn't sleep and since Oppa isn't there to talk to I thought to see if you are still awake. If you are sleeping, it's fine I'll browse on my phone" Yoon Ah explained, "You talk so much at a stretch, calm down" he said smiling. "I couldn't sleep either, come in." he let her in and as having a battle in his mind whether he should tell her or remain quiet. But his feelings overpowered and he decided to confess. 

"So how's the work going on?" she asked. "Fine, there hasn't been much since a week. Ill start with searching on the new lead from tomorrow." he answered. "Cool!" "Yoon Ah..." he stopped and looked at her, "Yeah Kook?" she smiled and looked at him "I like you." he said and waited for her to react and instantly added "I'm not forcing you for anything okay and remember I am happy with whatever you decide so please don't let this affect how we have always been.." 

"I like you too Jungkook" she stopped him in the middle and his face lit up and Yoon Ah had never seen him smile so beautifully. He got up and instantly pulled her into a hug. "Thank you soo much... Thank you soo much Yoon Ah" he said with all the enthusiasm he had and she felt happy to see Jungkook, if she could be the reason he would smile like this then she was ready to do anything for him, anything to make him happy, because life wasn't fair for this young boy and now she felt overjoyed to give him all the love she can.
