"Sometimes we know what the reality is, but we fail to acknowledge it."

This simple sentence expresses a very big meaning.

In the same way, sometimes we know what's right or what's wrong but the fear lying inside our hearts make us do the wrong thing. And once a person starts doing the wrong things, then the 'stop' sign is ignored by the human beings.

The next morning, when I got up I was feeling very satisfied. Very satisfied for helping someone in need. Satisfied that I saved her from the further harassment. Satisfied that I have a percentage in doing something against the harassment, even if it's very small, I have it.

Even the weather was just like my mood, clear and calm with tints of happiness spread all across the sky in the form of fresh air.

It was really very rare to breathe in fresh air in the one of most famous city of India, Mumbai. The condition here in mumbai is better than that of Delhi, Capital of India but still worse.

As I made my way towards the bus stand near my house, I felt so light-weighted and felt the urge of flying in the air with my invisible wings. Only if it was possible.

Calmness was the one of the thing which I wanted in my life constantly and this weather was doing nothing but granting her wish.

But what she didn't knew was that this was the calm before the story.

(Present.)

"Your honour and the citizens. Now let's look at the footage of that day when an another daughter of the nation was attacked by a dangerous acid. An another acid attack to an innocent teenager. But before that let me tell you, if you think that's it for today, then you all are wrong. There is more to the story..."

The judge nodded as he actioned me to continue with what I was speaking. I turned towards the people sitting in the rows of the room and gave them a warning.

".... The clip which we all are going to see is a very disturbing site. So I request the citizens who are not immune to such things, please wait out till the footage completes."

The people who are not immune to such things, went out after listening to my request and soon after, when the footage started.

Let me tell you what's going in the footage. As if the people knew that I and Vidhika would be coming, they parked their black coloured jeep in the shade of a banyan tree. I wasn't that stupid to not know how they knew that I was going to visit Shamika.

As soon as, I and Vidhika went to the other side of the college, they took the chance and attacked her. I immediately closed my eyes when the footage played the scene of attack.

It was very disturbing even for me, me who have literally saw a person dieing infront of me. It was very disturbing even for me, me who is mentally very strong.

It sad to see yet another girl getting attacked and getting her name imprinted in the long list of victims. It boils my blood thinking that I could have saved her from getting attacked but I couldn't. Even though I know I shouldn't blame myself, but somewhere deep inside my heart, I have always blamed myself from the very starting, from the day I saw her crying her eyes out while her whole back was burning because of that damn acid which is cheaper than a bottle of water in this country.

After the footage was over, I walked towards the laptop which was kept in the middle of the room and was connected with projector. Before clicking on a certain picture, I disconnected the wire with connected the projector.

What should I do..? I love creating suspense.

The moment I again connected the wire of the projector to the laptop, the picture I selected displayed itself on the projectors.

I saw few people in the room which included, the judge, vihaan, uditasree, reporters and few officials, widening their eyes as they quickly recognize what the picture was about.

Sure they will recognize it, how they can forget such a nightmare to the law of the country. How can they forget that tattoo which was reason for the fear in the country once.

Many of them were confused but before they speak anything, I closed the picture and turned towards the judge who was still in the shock. Basically contemplating his life I guess.

"Definitely many of you will be knowing about the picture of the tattoo which I showed and many wouldn't but before we find out what this picture is about I have to say something about Miss. Kumar...

..... According to what I have came to know, for sure Miss. Kumar have been harassed from few months continuously even before the she was attacked by acid."

After telling uditasree to inform the investigation team to find out the things which I encircled. I was thinking about how soon I am going to sue vihaan, when I got call from my home.

"Vaishnavi come home fast."

That with that the caller ended the call. By judging from the voice of the caller, it was Kairav for sure

"Not even a hi."

I rolled my eyes at his behaviour and took my leave from the firm not before informing uditasree that I am leaving for the day.

When I entered the house, I saw a Kairav's figure frantically moving in the living room. I could have made fun of him or passed a sarcastic comment but after seeing his eyes, I realized how serious he was.

"What happened to Kai, why are you looking sooo... Horrible..?"

He sighed as he sat down on the chair which was facing the table and on top of the table, was his dear laptop. Basically his laptop was even more important than my life because it has all the documents related to the chip transferred as we decided to discard the chip few days ago.

According to Kairav, if the chip have something inside it, it would land us in disadvantage. So it was better to burnt that chip and that's what we did.

"You would be definitely shocked by listening what happened just now."

I don't know whether curiosity brings best out of you or the worst out of you, but for the current situation I was sure that the outcome would be worst.

As he understood my silence, he continued what he meant by the statement he made earlier. He took a deep breath giving me an indication that he will saying whatever he wants to tell me in one single breath and I shouldn't interrupt him. Perks of knowing him from soo many years or perks of having a twin. Whatever.

I shook my thoughts away as I looked back at him again giving me all my attention to him.

"Before you freak out, my laptop was hacked and I think I know who did that but I don't think you would believe me if I tell you whom I am suspecting."

"WHAT!?! DID YOU JUST SAID THAT YOUR LAPTOP GOT HACKED!?! FREAKING HACKED!?!"
