37- Who is your son...?

(Today I don't have college, so why not an another update in a week...

Anyways Enjoy :))

"Yes... I was involved in it."

The moment she said that, I looked up at her. Her words made me surprise as I didn't thought that she would admit her wrongdoings soo soon. On top of that, she was lawyer earlier, she can easily come up with any excuse to escape the situation but she decided to confess the truth.

"I know you are surprised but now no longer I am afraid of anything."

Her words sounded very sincere. I could see that she regretted doing whatever she did and I hate saying this but I felt pity for her. Even though she is confessing now, I don't think I would be able to help her in the near future when the case 11 years ago re-opens again.

"Before that how much you know about my past. If I came to know how.you know, it will be easier for me to confess my crimes to you."

I nodded and decided to tell her. To be honest I knew nothing more than that they were in the same school and college, also were the best friend until something happened. After what happened, they both got married and broke all the contacts with Miss. Mina More.

I told her whatever I know and found her laughing little bit, laughing with pain mixed in her voice. I knew some kind of drama is coming my way.

"So get ready to listen to my past, Miss. Narsule."

She said as she got ready by stretching her back which was slanting to chair while I reciprocated her actions.

"So... You think all the drama started 15 years ago but no, you are wrong... It all started 28 years ago when I was at your age, one of my friend got pregnant. You wouldn't know about her. I will tell you later why..."

28 YEARS AGO!?! This case is doing nothing but getting more complicated day by day. I was panicking but I relaxed and told myself to listen to her whole story.

"... That child was an illegitimate child, an illegitimate boy and as you know how difficult it is to bore a child before marriage in india, how critical the society gets on you even in today's generation, that old generation was at the next level.

Her parents thrown her out of the house when they came to know that she is pregnant but they never wanted to give justice to her because they thought that they would get embarrassed if the society comes to know what happened to her."

And suddenly she looked at my confused state. The look which she was giving, was doing nothing but adding up to the theories in my mind about what happened to her, which crime's victim she was.

Crime against women in india was something very common in india. Every 13 minutes, a girl or a women gets raped here but still people have the audacity to question a women's character and support the rapist. They question the clothes we are wearing instead of blaming that cheap mindset of the rapist.

".... Yes she was raped but do you know who was the person behind all of this..?"

I was already shocked while listening to the half story not knowing that the whole story is full of suspense and twists.

".... Miss. Narsule, he is relative of someone who you know..."

And that's where I got caught off-guard. My brain started working at full speed thinking about all the possibilities and my eyes widened when a name suddenly came in my mind.

"... no way..."

I whispered as I looked with my wide eyes while Miss. Mina More just gave me a sad smile.

"... Yes he is related to Vihaan.... He is Vihaan's father..."

(After 10 minutes)

We both sat down there in complete silence. It was too much shocks for me to take today. The day was filled by thriller, suspense and twists from morning till now. God know what what will be coming to me when the blue sky turns dark black colour.

"... Should I continue...?"

I nodded as I realised that I wasted too much of the time. I drank the water in front of me and got ready for an another shock which I predicted will come soon to me.

"... Vihaan doesn't knows about it but I am not sure if he knows about his father illegal business or not... About what kind of illegal business he ran, I am not sure of it but I guess, it would had been closed down..."

She said with a shrug as if her burden of the past got a little less after confessing half of the story.

"Why..? Why do you think the illegal business got closed down..?"

I asked her confusing. It's better if she knows the answer to my question, but if she doesn't knows, it will be very hard for me to find about this horrible business which ran 28 years ago when I wasn't even born.

"... The thing is that he died, actually to be precise, he was killed by a mafia. I don't know what he did but I know the mafia gang's name. It was 'Ravin Gang'. That gang was one of the most powerful gang in the whole Mumbai City, and also in the whole country but it declined when their leader was found dead by someone anonymous person.."

I wasn't shocked of this mafia thing because I knew about this gang since 2nd year of my BA in law. We students were given to case study about this gang. So basically I know almost everything about how it worked, etc but now, I was curious about one thing.

"Mrs. Kumar, I know about this gang but how this gang, your friend and your relation with the case 15 years ago, are connected..?"

I asked her the question I wanted to ask her from the time I came to know about Mr. Singhania's illegal business.

"Miss Narsule, you are a lawyer and a lawyer should have an imagination which runs wild."

She said giving me a challenging look as if telling me to find out the relation between this 3 given dots.

My brain was continuously working when huffed out little breath from my nose and looked at Mrs. Kumar who was looking at me with a surprise gaze.

"Mrs. Kumar tell me who is your son..?"
