Kenzie's Pov

Friday morning

"Kenzie?" Cameron's voice croaks out I stay stiff for a moment not really knowing how to respond I pull myself away from the bed and stand on my feet.

"Matts hearing is today and we're going to be late if we don't hurry up and get ready" I say walking out of his room and finding something appropriate to wear for this hearing. Once I find a suitable outfit I change and do my makeup and everything else then head downstairs and wait for Cameron.

"Cameron let's go" I call out looking at the time on my phone we have half an hour to get to the court house.

"I'm coming" he says jogging down the steps and following me out the door to the car. I drove to the court house then we quickly rushed inside just as it was about to start.

After an hour of arguing back and forth between Matt being innocent or guilty the judge finally came to a decision. Everything Matt's lawyer said sounded pretty good I hope it was good enough for his innocence. The judge comes back out and sits in her chair she looks around and then asks Matthew to stand. He does as he was told and stands up straight with his hands by his side and kept eye contact with the judge.

"Matthew Lee Espinosa I hear by declare you Innocent for the murder of Dr. Blake Edwards dismissed" she bangs her gavel and everyone gets up I sprint up with excitement and run over to Matthew hugging him.

"You're innocent you did it!" I say hugging him tightly he hugs me back and it felt so good to be touching him again. "Thank you so much" I say to his lawyer and shake his hand he smiles and pats Matt on the back giving him a hand shake and then leaving.

"You can finally come home" I say he smiles looking back from Cameron and I they both hug and shake each other's hand.

"Nice to have you back" Cameron says Matt smiles nodding.

"God I've missed you guys" he says we all leave the court house Matt has to go and take care of signatures and what not and getting his stuff then he said he would meet us back at the house. I was so unbelievably happy as soon as we got home I began cleaning and getting Matt's room ready I missed him so much.

"We should go out for a celebratory dinner tonight" Cameron suggests

"That sounds great I'll make reservations" I say taking out my phone and calling Matt's favorite place.

"Hi I would like to make a reservation for-" I stopped holding the phone away. "Who's all going to be there?" I ask Cameron

"Me, you, Matt, Shawn, Lindsay, Jess, syd, Taylor, Carter, Nash, Justice just say about 13 just in case" he says I nod and go back to the phone "hi sorry I need a table for 13 for-" I look back to Cameron.

"6:00?" He says I nod and go back to the phone once again "for 6:00pm" I say the lady makes us a reservation and then I hang up "okay everything's set call the others and let them know I'm gonna change" I say heading upstairs to my room. I change into a nice yet comfy and casual outfit and head back downstairs to see Matt standing in the living room with his things.

"Hey!" I say jogging down and going over hugging him "I can take some stuff off you" I say taking 2 of his suitcases and heading upstairs to his room. Matt followed behind me and put his things down. "So this is it do you remember this room?" I ask he looks around and nods "it's changed a bit but yeah I do" he says "alright I'll leave you to unpack" I say leaving the room.

After Matt finished packing and everyone else knew about the dinner we headed out to the restaurant. We made it there for six and got our table waiting for everyone else to show up. Everyone was so happy to see Matt and it felt so good to see everyone smiling and having a good time. We haven't all been in the same room since Matt disappeared so it was a little awkward at first but we all had so much to talk about that everything felt normal again. Matt was home and that's all that matters now there's no more worrying and we can all get back to our normal lives or so we thought.
