I heard a knock on my door, i opened it seeing My P.A, she was on a palazzo jeans and red crop with went well with her red sneakers, unpacking her blond hair.

Miss, are you ready, she asked and i nodded, i wore something simple which was a white hoodie, joggers and flip flop, i came out locking my door, i turned looking at my P.A i saw Axel came out of his room

I'm going to the same place, we could go together, he offered with a smile

No were good, i said walking away

besides it's just in the hotel's beach, i shrugged

no it isn't it's at south beach, the hotel made a mistake with that, he said as we got into the elevator

Were still good, i said folding my arms

The elevator soon got to the ground floor, i was the first to leave, standing outside, i wondered which root would lead to south beach

You can't get there by foot, he said, i sighed turning to him my P.A stood beside him

Yeah, I'll take a cab, i said then walked away

But, I'm going the same way, he said and i rolled my eyes stopping a cab, i got in along with my P.A, i told the driver where i was heading and in 30 minutes or more we were at the beach.

South beach was huge, way bigger than the hotel's and it was obvious a party was going on here, we got into the sandy beach, kids, teens, elders, adults and couples were all here having fun, they were tons of camp fires and people around, men skillfully performing with fires on sticks and children watching in amusement, other sides of the beach were filled with food stores and people watching as they cooked, Axel couldn't have done all these

Welcome Miss, a woman in a patterned dress said, she was wearing a band made of flowers

What actually is going on here, i asked which made her smile

Every year, our hotel creates things like things like this to help the less fortunate, she said as we walked to a campfire, the evening breeze was nice, i loved the sound of the oceans but not to well because of the music

And how much have you all made so far, i asked curiously, her smile widened

A really good amount  and we just started, she said happily

You could help yourself to anything, if you need anything just call my attention, enjoy the party, she left, i sat on one of the log along with my P.A, we stared at the people around as they sang along with the woman with a guitar, i heard my P.A also singing, i didn't know the song most of the songs they sang but few were catchy.

A lot happened in this party, a lot of debated, a lot of games, a lot of talks between me and my P.A, i got to know her even more, she talked about loving baking and how she hoped that she could get a store starting that kind of business, i also made her talk about her son, i loved the way she smiled talking about her son, i wish i could talk about my life with a huge smile. we left the camp fire going to a food truck we saw the man roasting crabs.

We called this fried snappers, he said, we looked at each other

Were at a beach, let's hope living crabs don't see this, i said and they both laughed, he gave us a taste and it was nice, less spicy more tasty

It's way better than that spicy hell this morning, i said and she chuckled

I never thought you were this funny, she said softly not looking at me, i didn't say a word, me funny, nah, no-one ever told me i was funny, The party was really enjoyable and for the first time, in a long time, i felt free, happy, not worried about anything, i was having fun with Carly, she was fun to hangout with, i never had close friends in highschool or college and after what happened between me and Axel, i was okay been alone. Carly was now playing with few kids, she was really good with kids, obviously, she has a son, i got a plate of ice-cream moving to a much quiet place in the beach, i wore my hood sitting on the sandy ground, i ate my ice-cream taking in the oceans breeze, i smiled a little nothing could spoil this moment.

I can see you were having a lot of fun, someone said, i looked at the person seeing it was that woman from earlier

Yeah, the party was really good, I'll be sure to donate, I said which made her smile

Could i know who planned all this, apart from then hotel's board

Oh, Mr. Gonzalez, Mr. Martinelli and Mr. Rodrigo  were Three people who made this a huge success

Mr. Gonzalez is the grandfather to the owner of the hotel and Mr. Martinelli and Rodrigo just wanted to help out and we would be thankful to God that he was hosting a conference at our hotel, she said, my brows furrowed

Wait, What, i looked at her a little confused

Mr. Axel Martinelli is hosting a business conference on Tuesday, your a very Important guest, aren't you Eleonora Santiago, she asked softly

Yeah but- i stopped talking when i saw Axel coming this way, his the one hosting this conference, he can't be the C.E.O of Nexcorp that's just wrong, i never expected and he never acted like he owned one of the biggest and fast growing engineering company

Is everything okay here, he asked, the woman's demeanor changed drastically

Yes, sir, she's having a really nice time, my brows furrowed, she left, i stared at him confused, he smiled taking a seat next to me, i shifted a little

How are you enjoying the party, he asked calmly

Why did you invite me to this conference, i asked ignoring his question

You're company is one of the best, I'm kind of curious to know why your an architect, you always wanted to be a lawyer, he said, i frowned not saying a word or looking at him

I'm sorry, he said, my heart skipped a beat, i looked at hi seeing he was also looking at me

For what exactly, I asked looking away from him

For everything, i swear i didn't mean- i cut him off

No amount of apology can erase what you did, so stop, i said, he just managed to spoil my peaceful evening

I know but just let me show you how sorry i am, he said and i chuckled lightly

You're crazy to think I'll let you be anything with me, you don't even have the right to say that, it that why you did all this, i said annoyed

No, trust me that's not why your here, he said softly

Could you just go enjoy your party and leave me alone, i snapped getting up, i left the beach texting my P.A that i was leaving

Eleonora, i heard his call but i ignored, i turned only to see him following me, hw was on my tail about crossing the road, i was held and a speeding car drove pass, i looked up at Axel, our eyes were locked together, he let out a sigh of relief.

Be careful, he said with a frown, i took my arm away from his hold, i crossed the road standing at the walkway, i saw him staring at me, i did the same, my eyes betrayed me, i couldn't look away, Does he think I'm that stupid little 19 year old he fooled, he was about crossing the road but a woman called him, immediately walked away  calling my P.A to meet me across the beach.

I can't believe Axel is really the C.E.O  of Nexcorp, why didn't he make himself known, why did he have 80% share of the Cohen's business was he aware the Cohens were criminals, if he is and is part of it, getting my revenge wouldn't be so hard. Soon enough Carly got to me, we boarded a cab and headed to the hotel getting there, i got the account details for this charity and donated some money. i loved helping  homeless people, Many may see me as a bitch and i don't give a fuck.
