The next day, i was battling with my head, should i leave or stay, what was he gaining from this conference of his, it pains me to know i was trying to impress that jerk and worse i have been spending his money.

I was at the dining hall with my P.A who ordered a meal but i didn't order, i was scrolling through my phone when a man sat close to my P.A who was looking at the man, soon we recognized him to be the man at the party who was frying crabs from the way he talked i think he was interested in Carly.

Carly, I'm going for a walk, I said before leaving, i got a call from my mum getting out of the hall i saw Axel and the same girl from last night, i looked at him, he gave me a small smile, the girl crossed her arm around his

Hello Eleonora, I heard my mum's voice, i walked away

Yeah mum

Are you okay, how are things with you in Miami, she asked, her voice sounded a little worried

Great, i said with a smile

I'm glad, your enjoying your vacation honey, she said softly and i nodded

Are you okay, you sound worried, I asked, i didn't want to move around Miami alone so i was going to get Carly

Y-yes Honey, Don't worry about me, she said,  my brows furrowed, when her voice cracked a little

Okay, take care of yourself, i said before hanging up, i walked back into the dining hall seeing my P.A was still talking to that man and Axel was also at our table with that girl, i walked up to them taking a seat

You must be the famous Eleonora Santiago, the girl said, i looked at her, she had light makeup on but her lipstick was too bold for my liking, she had a gold dress on sitting close to Axel

And you may be, i asked with my eye brow raised a little

Maya Jensen, she said and i was glad she didn't offer her hand for a shake

So how excited are you for your brothers wedding with Axel sister

Not Excited, Pitiful, i said with a smirk

The Martinelli's are bad news nothing comes out of them

That's were your wrong, a lot of good things comes from Axel's family especially Axel, his sweet and smart- i cut her off

Why are you here, i asked and she smiled 

His having a business conference and as someone who loves him, i want to be here to support him, she said, Axel took his arm away from her

Awww, that's so cute and Axel loves you so much too, is that right, i asked looking at him straight in the eyes, he was most definitely not pleaded

I don't, he said also looking at me, I looked at Maya who had a frown on her face

Don't be sad, he would come around, I said the rolled my eyes, i cared less about anything happening between them, i scrolled through my phone feeling like a complete ghost around four people, i stood up to leave which i did, i decided to head to the hotel's bar, it was really nice, it didn't smell like a bar at all, that's if i knew how a bar smelt like. I took a seat behind the counter. The bar tender turned giving me a smile.

Good Morning, he said softly

2glass of tequila, I said placing my phone on the counter, he got that ready, i took the first glass  and a hurt sensation ran down my throat, I frowned when i saw Axel

I loved that smile of yours better, he said sitting on a stool facing me, i was about taking my second glass but he stopped me

I think that's enough

Don't tell me want to do, i snapped annoyed, he gave the glass of tequila to the bartender who took it without hesitation. i stood up leaving the hotel, he just had to follow me.

What would you love to do in this city, he asked, i folded my arms

Stay away from you, i said and he chuckled getting a glare from me, i walked away , i turned seeing he was walking behind, i got into an ice cream store ordering a strawberry ice cream.

You're still an Ice cream lover, i heard him said beside me

YEAH, SO, I asked looking at him

Nothing, that's how we met, he said slowly, i looked away from him, where's this stupid ice cream vendor. i curse the day we met, it was in an ice cream store as he said, i left my money at my dorm and he paid that's how it all began, him using, that bet that destroyed something that might have been beautiful. The woman finally got my sundae , i paid taking a seat, i sighed when he sat at my table facing me

I'm sure there is some one who would love your face, i said then scrunched my nose, someone would actually love his face, i rolled my eyes jot me that's for sure.

I love to spend time with you Nora, he said as i concentrated on my ice cream 

I know a lot of sorry's- i cut him off

Don't talk about that, i said not looking at him

Then when, he asked softly, i looked at him

Never, i said also in a soft tone, he had a frown on his face, he sighed as i continued eating my ice cream, we sat in silence for a while 

Why don't we talk business, he said, i looked at him a little confused

Where do you see your company in 5 years, he stared at me, he was now serious, i looked down at my ice cream, i wasn't going to tell him that i was losing money because of my bad decisions.

Successful, obviously, i want it to be known more than it already is, i said looking at him

And what are your plans, he asked softly with a smile

That's why i came for this conference, hoping to get strong opportunities, i said wondering why he was smiling

That good, it could help your company a lot since your having difficulties, he said, my heart skipped a beat

How do you know that, i asked with a frown

Where partners, i know everything happening in my partners companies,  he said, i glared at him feeling really irritated, that means he knows what kind of thing the Cohens run in there company, even if they hid it so well.

AXEL'S P.O.V

After she was done with her ice cream, she left still ignoring me, i can see it's going to be hard to get through her but i won't stop trying, No matter how much she hate she has for me in her eyes, i got out of the store, she was In front, i pocketed my hands as i followed behind, i didn't also want to pressurize her to much, i found out a little about her illness from her therapist, she has a mental illness and i definitely don't want her to break down, she didn't need stress and needed to be calm at all times, now i think of it, she hasn't been calm at all, Handling two companies was probably something that added up to it. i noticed a group of men whistling when Eleonora passed, she ignored them as she continued walking, i also noticed one other thing about her, she only wore white outfits. i wanted to know more about her and i wish she could give me that chance. i saw those men walking towards her, i quickened my pace and stood beside her, she didn't look at me, she looked lost in thought and i confirmed when she bumped into someone

What are you thinking, i asked softly, she looked at me then ahead

A lot, she simply said then sighed 

You shouldn't stress yourself too much, i said also looking ahead

Don't act like you care, she said, i bit my lip

You may think i don't care but i do a lot, i said sincerely

I wouldn't let her find out i know about her illness, the day i found out was when she left the hospital with her mum and Carly, i decided to follow after they left the hospital, i just had to tell the doctor i was related to Eleonora, she told me a little about her illness, i would hate to find out I'm the cause of all this.

Did you have a nice time, i asked with a smile

Not really, she said folding her arms

You're not sure, so there is a 100% chance you did have a nice time, i said with a grin, she didn't say a word, i wanted her to talk a lot, i want her to blabber about whatever and I'm willing to  listen, i want to be the cause of her smile, I want to hug her, kiss her and basically anything else to make her happy. i just realize how much i was thinking about this woman, the same woman that said it to my face that she hated me . fuck somehow i didn't care what she does. We got back into the hotel, i followed her all the way to her floor, she gets lost in thought so quickly, i wonder what she's thinking probably a way to hurt me as she says.
