I got a card which had the information on the conference turns out it's has been shifted to Monday because of the camp fire program happening. i applied light makeup enough to hide the dark circles around my eyes, clear lip gloss, my clothes was a white crop top and white skirt, i decided to stick with  gladiator sandals and a little necklace to  go with 

Leaving my room locking the doors, i turned freezing on the spot when i saw Axel, what was he doing her, was he among the members of this conference, of course not, he works at his dad's company which is a tech company and to think i was going to enjoy my so called vacation.

You look better than ever Nora, he said with a smirk

What are you doing here, i asked then cut him off before he could reply

You know what i don't care, he closed his door, i didn't like the idea of our rooms facing each other, I'll switch rooms but if i do i might just make a bad impression on the C.E.O of Nexcorp, i got into the elevator before i could close it, Axel got in pressing the ground floor button, it closed , i moved away from him leaning on the elevator's wall

What are your plans for this week before the conference, he asked, i looked at him not saying a word when the door opened i walked out

Eleonora, i ignored his call finding my way to the dining hall of this hotel, i looked around finding a perfect table for my breakfast, i took a seat taking the menu my brows furrowed

what kind of dishes do they serve here, i asked myself

Miami cuisines, what else, he said, i looked at him then back at my menu

Get out, i snapped

Come on Nora, you don't plan on spending the entire week alone right, he said, i slammed the menu on the table

if it's away from you, I'll gladly do it, i said, he gave me a smirk, as if he knew where to hit me, i wanted that smirk out of his face and soon enough i would get that.

Good Morning, what would you like today, a waitress said with a smile, i took my menu

How does spicy Cuban Cuisine taste, i asked looking at her

Good choice miss, that's this hotels famous dish and you sir, she asked, i noticed her eyes lit up and smile widened looking at Axel

Same as her, he said handing her the menu

Okay  sir, she said with a wide smile, i rolled my eyes scrunching my nose in disgust, she took my menu ignoring my expression

How's business going so far, he asked and his crazy enough to think i would tell him any thing about my company

That shouldn't concern you, i said, soon enough our meal was brought to us, i noticed Axel had a bottle water while i didn't, i decided to let it slide, i took a fork tasting the food, my eyes widened at the spiciness, i chewed it quickly and swallowed

Why don't i have a bottle water, i asked looking at her, i was definitely not going to enjoy this food

Here, Axel said handing me his water, the waitress left caring less about my situation, my tongue was literally on fire so i took his water drinking half of it

I see why it's called spicy Cuban, i said breathing out, he smiled

I could order another dish for you, he suggested, i frowned

No, I'm okay with this, I lied, don't want him spending on me, My P.A walked to us, she was on a jeans and body hug top, unpacking her hair wearing sneakers, she looked different in a very good way, casuals fit her a lot

Miss Miller, have a seat, you must be Starving, i said, she did take a seat

Good Morning Mr. Martinelli, she greeted looking at Axel

Good Morning Miss Miller, you look different, he said and she smiled

Just wanted to try something new and call me Carly, she said softly

Okay, why not try this, i moved the dish to her side, she looked at me a little confused, she took a bit, her tensed body relaxed after some time

Is it good, i asked knowing it wasn't

Yeah, the spice is a little to much but is still good, she said, i shook my head

No, if they were using a jar of pepper, I'm sure they added the entire jar in one dish, one bite was like hell in my mouth, i said and she chuckled

It's not that bad Miss, she said softly

Suit yourself, I said with a shrug, i called another waitress

Yes miss, she answered

Could i get a less spicy, something sort of British food like, i said, i heard axel; chuckle, i looked at him, he covered it up with a cough, he cleared his throat taking his water from my side

Right away, Miss, she said then left

What's funny, i asked in a serious tone

Nothing, he said, i looked at my P.A who shrugged lightly, she looked at her almost empty plate, i glared at Axel who gave me a smile, Asshole, i looked at them as they ate and made conversation as if they had know each other for like forever now, while Axel was the extrovert kind of guy so I'm not surprised, The annoying Part was when Axel would flirt with Carly and she would blush, his still the sweet talker, H didn't even need to try, Doesn't he knows what he did to me, i was getting irritated by this, finally my order arrived, i asked how much the food cost , she looked at Axel but i didn't take my eyes of her 

It's on the house, she said, i raised my eyebrow, she left before i could stop her

Lucky you, he said, i glared at him but his smile was intact, i ate my food which was steak, it was better than that painful meal with by the way still hurts a little, the two finished eating and there conversation got my attention when he said he was here for the conference, he had an engineering company so why then did he have 80% share of the Cohen's business.

You attending the camp fire program right, he asked looking at me

What's it all about, I asked getting sick and tired of been invisible to these two

It's sort of raising money for the less fortunate, the holidays is coming soon so why not, he said with a shrug

And how do you know all this, i asked somehow interested in this conversation of ours

I and a friend of my planned it, well with the board of this hotel too, he said and i scoffed

You, help less fortunate people, i doubt it, i said in disbelief, i looked at me P.A who was looking at us like she was watching a movie or something.

There are a lot of things you don't know about me Nora, he said calmly

Definitely, that was then but now i do know a lot and helping people isn't one of them, i said getting up from my seat, i took my phone and walked away every time his around my mood just gets bad, i walked out of the building

Miss Eleonora, i heard My P.A call, my legs immediately stopped, she walked to me breathing a little too fast

Your a fast walker,  walking ahead she followed behind

Don't get close to Axel, his bad news, don't let his sweet words fool you, i said in a serious tone

EHM, Okay, she said softly, that answer didn't satisfy me, it didn't seem determined

You sure you heard, you have a son and a husband so Don't mess around with another man, I saw the way you blushed as he spoke to you, i spat angrily walking towards her, she moved backwards, she looked hurt,  her eyes were teary up, people were looking at us, i sighed shakily then continued my walk, Eleonora put your self together, i know it's hard to control most of your emotions especially anger but you can do this, you have been doing this.

And apologize, my inner voice said, i turned seeing she was far behind, we reached a little Chanel store, i waited for my P.A to get to me, we got in, i didn't trust she got a good outfit for this conference so i was going to get one for her

What color of dress do you like the most, i asked, it mattered to me so i figured it would matter to others i guess

Blue, she said in a cracked tone, i frowned turning away from her, was my words that bad to make her cry maybe i should apologize

No, Your her boss and you can insult her whenever, a voice inside my head said

Apologize, what you did wasn't right, Carly has been your first and only P.A ever since you began your business, she tolerated your shit for far too long, Another voice said, what voices were these, i gulped.

Miss Eleonora, I heard her voice bringing me out of my thoughts

Yes, i answered looking at her

You were lost in thought for a minute, are you okay, she asked and was that worry in between her voice, right after i yelled at her for something so stupid

Yes, i said nodded a little

Okay the, I'll show you out best gowns, the woman said, we followed her  into a room, we got into a bigger part of the room which was filled with clothes on moveable ranks

You mentioned blue, I'm sure this would look stunning on you, she said placing a blue dress in front of me

I don't were colored outfits, it's for her, i said using my thumb to point at my P.A

What, EHM, Miss that--- not necessary, she said but i ignored her searching through the rank, i loved some dresses but trying colored clothes felt wired for me now, when i got out of that asylum, i felt nothing but pain, hate, betrayal, many bad things, when i took a shower and was wrapped around the towel, it looked nice, i felt less shitty wearing white, i felt pure, i felt like an angel from heaven even if i wasn't. i looked through the ranks fighting with myself on not to say sorry

OKAY FINE, I'M SORRY, i blurted then sighed heavily, i was expecting her to say something but she didn't, i looked at her she looked surprised

You don't expect me to repeat myself, do you, i asked annoyed, she shook her head

No, she said softly

I could see how hard it was for you to express that, thank you, i smiled, do people usually do this, apologize and they thank you for it, i don't think so i hardly apologize. i shrugged lightly feeling sort of good inside after apologizing.
