I followed Matthew’s car at a safe distance away, so that he would not notice he was being followed. To be honest, I’m still not sure what I’m going to do to save her. Hundreds of plans had raced through my head earlier but none of them seemed to have the desired outcome. She could find out who I really am or the plan could fail and she’ll be taken to his realm. What would she say if she finds out who I really am? I don’t think I could handle being rejected.

My parents have been fighting for years since I was born. My father was an angel, who neglected to tell my mum who he really was; until he found out she was pregnant. She couldn’t believe him until he showed her his wings. Angel wings, believe it or not, are not solid in the mortal world. They are… how can I explain this.. Pieces of shining light that form the shape of wings.  After seeing the wings, my mother had a small mental breakdown. Long story short, she got over it and together, they decided to get married for the sake of their unborn child. Then a few years later he was called away on angelic duty and he was killed in battle. We had to fake the breakup for the sake of the rest of our family and our friends.

I don’t want to force April to accept me. I wouldn’t even dream of it, but I can’t lose her. How in god’s name can I save her and keep my secret a secret?! I bit my lip in frustration.

I suppose I’ll just have to wing it.
