Well. This one's hard for me. It's taken me a while to be strong enough to do this, but I've redone this page as a memorial. As you've probably heard, our family dog died recently from an injury. We don't know what it even was, only that it was causing him so much pain (even after multiple painkillers) that he wanted to go. He was done. Without any more waiting, here it is.

He also loved lying in the sun, but it was October when I originally made this, so that wasn't going to happen. Here's some basic info about him:

A huuuge foodie. Would eat anything. And I mean everything including things that aren't edible such as, a piece of Lego he thought was a treat, grass, his own chocolate pudding and more!

He was a greyhound, but as all retired racers are, he was a couch potato. He rarely did zoomies, but when he did, he could go from 0 to 40 mph with a snap of my fingers. Unfortunately, the reason he got injured was because of his zooming, so we agreed on no more zoomies.

He had his tenth birthday in October and we got him from a rescue when he was seven.

He was a drama queen. He would scream if his legs kick some leaves and he didn't expect it. Or he sneaked up behind you, nudged you suddenly and then you both would scream at each other in surprise.

He got angry easily with some particularly annoying dogs (*cough* the staffie family) but with most of them he was friendly.

He hated hats. Hated them. If you put something on his head he froze and tensed up until you took it off again. He enjoyed bandanas though, so we tried to find a poppy one for November and a Christmas one. Unfortunately for obvious reasons we abandoned the search.

Anyway, that's our dog, Jupiter. I still really miss him but it's been easier recently. Grief is one of those things that only time heals. It's been really quiet without him. When I'm writing this, we're still trying to find things to make a memory box with. Once it's complete I'll put some pictures on here for you. Goodbye for now.
