I reach forward and push the sparkly diamond button. As soon as I do, a loud humming noise bursts from the motor and suddenly the whole machine lights up with electric light. The giant circle around the machine starts turning. It starts off slow, then begins to turn faster and faster and FASTER! Until it spins at an unnaturally extraordinarily fast speed! My vision is a blur of fast spinning bronze! Then it starts turning at what seems like light speed! As it does this, a giant blue electronic sphere surrounds the whole entire machine like a force field. I'm urged to push the handles forward. I push them forward like a motorbike and with a blinding flash of blue light, everywhere outside the sphere starts to age super fast. Spider webs form on the walls. Dust and mould form all over the house. Furniture collapses. The walls begin to wither and decay into nothing until I can see beyond. The whole realm of dragons is gone! No trace of anything. Just empty fields. I look up to the sky. A reddish orange haze washes over the sky. I watch as an asteroid hurdles from the sky straight toward the fields. On impact, A vast explosion submerges the entire The landscape in a horrific inferno of blazing fire and destruction. The sun disappears and a thick snow washes over the entire world.

The sun rises and almost immediately all the ice and snow melts away. Lots of the melted snow forms into seas and oceans. I watch as I come to surface from the sea on an island. It is a beautiful island with palm trees, fruitful flowering plants and a waterfall. Magical creatures emerge from cracks, crevices from underground. I see small dragons, unicorns and sea serpents. They begin to multiply and evolve. The sea serpents begin to evolve from sharks and whales to fish and porpoises. The dragons evolve into birds and large towering reptiles like dinosaurs. The unicorns evolve into a vast variety of mammals, but it isn't long before a volcano erupts wiping out almost all the life on the island. I watch as the lava hardens and forms to rock, expanding the island massively until all the water is out of sight. Mountains form in the rock. Strong, great mountains which are hit again by another blazing asteroid.

Again, the land grows cold being encased and frozen within another blanket of snow. Mammals emerge from the snow. I watch as they adapt to their surroundings, multiplying and evolving until I see a familiar being; humans. They hunt, they survive, they evolve. Eventually the snow dissipates and they start to spread out. I watch as they walk away colonising all over the world, some stay and invent tools and shelters, clothes, buildings, quickly developing their very own culture. I look over at their beautiful city and then watch in horror as it is drowned beneath thousands of leagues of water. Submerged deep beneath the ocean. Almost a minute later, ships begin to pass. One seems to be a medieval pirate ship while the other seems to be a ship full of innocents. The pirates invade slaughtering everyone on the ship. I turn the handles and steer the time machine to a distant island. I push the handles even further and suddenly time goes even faster. Outside the time machine, I watch as civilisation and culture evolves. Below the handles is a screen, the seconds keep flicking, the minutes, the hours, the days, the months, the years, the decades and the centuries. Each second flickers extremely fast only staying still for 0.000000006 of a second! I watch as the centuries flicker only every twenty seconds. 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900, 2000, 2100, 2200, 2300, 2400, 2500, 2600, 2700, 2800, 2900, 3000 and it still keeps going!

At this point, the planet is a waist land. Everything looks abandoned and old. The remaining humans fight for natural recourses to survive. They fight for water, oil, food, plants and fresh air. All the weak humans are dead. The strong ones live on by any means possible. Love is dead. It's every man, woman and child for themselves. Some are seduced into cannibalism and will do anything to survive. I fast forward time even further to the year 1 billion, life on earth is gone. The sun is too hot for any life on earth to survive. I go even further, hundreds of thousands of billions of years into the future. Earth is gone. Nothing but an empty void filled with nothing but stars. Everything is gone. I finally decide that I've seen enough and I pull the golden lever. In a split second, I'm immediately taken back to my present inside my mansion. The circle stops spinning and the blue sphere disperses. I step out feeling dizzy and shocked at the same time. I feel like I desperately need a rest so I immediately set out to look for my bedroom. I leave the room and into another one where I find the kitchen.

I leave the kitchen and clumsily walk up the stair case, absolutely shocked by what I've witnessed. There are two doors in front of me, a bronze-wood door and golden-leather door. There is also another stair case that leads straight up.
