The Girl and Port Awa
Chun-ja's POV
After we left the small village we set out for the Green Dragon. It seemed he was near the ocean. I was pretty excited. I do remember traveling near there once or twice while I was traveling by myself.
I have to admit, the journey was boring. I bet if someone were to document our travels, they would have spent time showing something more interesting. As we walked, I went from person to person, trying to entertain myself. Of course, this meant teasing Yona and Hak. What else should I be doing in my spare time? Learn to fight?
At long, long, loooooooonnggggg last, we made it to Port Awa. We decided to make camp on a cliff that was right over the port. It was pretty funny watching the others, minus Hak, gush over the view. Hak had apparently come here when he was little.
We set up our small camp quickly and I sat down near one of the tents. Yun quickly pointed out that we needed more supplies and I hummed in agreement. We quickly figured out that the majority of the group could be fairly noticeable so we decided that Hak would go. Yona tried to beg him to let her come along but was quickly denied. Then I stood up.
"Hey, I'm pretty sure I've been here before. Mind if I come with? I can get some medical supplies for Yun and myself."
"I think you could let her go. She is the least... well, least dragon-like." Yun pointed out. I smiled at him but he quickly looked away.
"I guess you can come along too Brown Snake." Hak finally agreed. I glared at him.
"Okay, I have a name now. You can stop calling me that." I said in an annoyed tone.
"Never." a smirk crossed his face. I rolled my eyes and sighed in defeat. We both then grabbed some money and headed out.
Once we got to the bottom of the cliff, I immediately left Hak alone and went to look for supplies. I eventually found a store that had what I wanted. I grabbed quite a few rolls of bandages and other things to help out. Then, I went to pay.
"This seems like quite a lot of supplies, dearie." The shopkeeper said with a warm smile. I smiled back at her.
"I just have really clumsy friends." I covered smoothly before exiting the store.
After walking around a little while I decided to find Hak. By some weird luck, I heard yelling. I ran to the source to find Hak and some weird, green haired guy fighting some soldiers. I vaguely felt some alarms blaring in my head about the weird guy but I ignored it and stormed over to them.
"Hak! the whole point of you being out here is to not be suspicious and buy stuff. But nooo! You have to befriend a weird.. perverty guy and pick a fight with these soldiers! Come on, I'll finish the shopping after we drop off the things I so kindly bought for us." Yes, I was pretty mad. Yes, it was worth it. Have a problem with it? No? Okay, on with the story!
Hak stopped fighting and looked at me. "Geez, I know now not to mess with you, Brown Snake," he teased with a smirk. "Besides, this idiot is the one drawing the attention."
My attention snapped to the other man and the alarms started in my head. It finally clicked. "Well if it isn't another one of my 'brothers'." I said casually as I made air quotes for the word 'brother'.
His eyes widened in recognition but quickly smirked and mock bowed. "I didn't know that there was a female in our little group. Nice meeting you but now I ask that you leave and give up on recruiting me. Bye Bye~" He winked before leaping into the air and practically disappeared.
I sighed and quickly grabbed Hak's arm and dragged him back to camp. When we returned, I gave Yun our supplies before explaining to him how helpful Hak was. He scolded him before turning to the group.
"Looks like we will all have to go out tomorrow. What a pain!"
There were a few cheers from Yona and Kija. I smiled and sat next to Yun. He had prepared dinner while we had been out so we all decided to eat so we could rest and leave early in the morning.
"Oh hey, the man Hak was fighting with was the Green Dragon" I quickly blurted out.
"You didn't think to mention that earlier?! Idiot!" Yun smacked the back of my head lightly. I just nodded.
"Yeah... Hey Yona, have fun trying to convince him to join us. He didn't seem all too happy to meet me." Hak chuckled and nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, left pretty quickly after she introduced herself. I wonder why?" He stated sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and leaned back until I felt my back hit the ground. I yawned as I stared up at the sky.
"So should we look for him tomorrow?" I asked to no one in particular.
"Of course, silly!" I heard Yona say cheerfully.
"Kay~," I said in a singsong tone before getting up and walking over to a tree and leaning next to it. "Thanks for dinner Yun. Well, I'm going to bed. I'm worn out from our little 'adventure'" I said snarkily. I quickly managed to fall asleep afterward.
Yun POV
I sighed as I helped put out the fire. I have to admit, I am pretty excited about going down to the port. After I made sure the fire was out and no one was about to ask for more food, (hey! It happened once!) I went to sleep.
~Next day~
I woke up fairly early. It was nice and quiet as I sat on the edge of the cliff, mentally composing a list of what we needed. Soon enough everyone else woke up and we all left. Well, except for Shin-ah.
As we past by buildings, we suddenly heard screaming. We ran to the source. Inside one of the houses, guards were yelling at and attacking a family. Chun-ja stared towards the door but I quickly grabbed her hand.
"You can't! You'll get hurt and stuff!" I frantically yelled. She struggled to get to the door but Hak stood in front of her.
"Nope, I'll take care of it." He said but was quickly pushed aside by Kija. I decided to speak up again.
"Hey, we can't do this. We will just make things worse."
After much protest, we left the house. As we walked to the shops, I watched as Chun-ja stared at her feet. I looked down as well and noticed that I was still holding her hand. I quickly let go and looked away as I felt the heat crawl on to my face.
"S-sorry. I forgot I guess. Tch, what a pain." I stammered. 'I'm such aN IDIOT!' I screamed internally.
Everything remained to be relatively normal until Hak suggednly left after some lame excuse. I rolled my eyes as I continued to search for a shop.
~Small time skip~
I finally got everything we needed. We decided to go find Hak. Eventually we found him....
"Hak, you pervert! What do you think you're doing idiot!" I yelled up to him.
"Hey it's not my fault! That green creep-" he looked behind him. "Ah! Where'd he go?!"
"Really smooth, Thunder Beast. Abandon the princess to go.. fool around with these women and blame it on what, you're imaginary friend? Why blame the Green Dragon, hm?" I heard Chun-ja say sarcastically.
"He was here!" Hak protested.
"Ugh, never mind just come on! We need to leave before you cause anymore trouble!" I yelled. He jumped down from the window and calmly walked over to us.
Yona was about to comment before Kija bolted away, yelling back at us that, "Ha! I know where my brother is!" Ugh, what a pain this day has been. Might as well follow him.
I could be falling in love, falling in love, falling in love.. with Hermione Gran- Er.. excuse me.. I probably shouldn't be listening to musicals at 12 am while writing this... (If ya know the group/musical comment!)
Wow! 2 chapters in a month? I have no idea how I did that! Oh and guess what.. I've officially started my Yun cosplay. It's my first costume that I've made. :D Anyway, I hope you enjoyed! Oh and sorry if characters are OOC and I feel like I wrote Chun-ja slightly differently...
