Esther, and Rhys had agreed to stay home while Gwen, Rex, and I went to find Jack. We walked into the cold December air. I shivered. The TARDIS was right across the street. The doctor held the door open and we walked into the warm console room. In those restless nights when Jack was woken up by nightmares he would tell me about the good times he had with the doctor in the TARDIS, so I wasn't surprised by the fact that it was bigger on the inside, but Rex and Gwen were. Rex did what everyone did. After he saw the inside he went back around the outside to make sure it wasn't just a trick. Gwen just stood there with her mouth hanging open touching the walls. Soon everyone had adjusted and we were ready to go. The doctor found Jack's coordinates and we started on our way

I stepped out of the TARDIS into a bar. Neon lights flashed everywhere while definitely not human creatures danced. They didn't look like the one eye three foot aliens with antennas though. I saw some time agents, shape shifters, headless monks, and some evolved human settlers. That kind of stuff. In the back I saw a man sitting all alone. It was Jack. I walked through the crowds till I was right next to Jack.
"Hey." I was suddenly really nervous. Jack looked at me.
"Hey Ianto." He didn't seem at all surprised to see me.
"Do you mind if I sit?"
"Go ahead." We chatted for awhile about random things. He seemed pleased to see me, but wouldn't touch me. I tried to hug him but he just shifted away. After a while a bartender came up to us.
"Would you like anything love?" She asked me.
"No thank you." I replied. Jack looked genuinely shocked.
"You can see him?" He asked the bartender.
"Of course I can." She looked at Jack like he was crazy before walking away. Jack turned towards me.
"You're here?"
"Yes." He looked ecstatic.
"I wouldn't let you hug me because I thought you were a drunk hallucination and you'd disappear." He touched my cheek sending shivers through my body. God I missed him. He smiled that breathtaking smile that I loved. He pulled me in for a bone crushing hug.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear. I missed his beautiful voice.
"I love you too." After a few minutes we finally stopped hugging.
"How'd you get here?" Jack finally asked.
"The Doctor. We sent him a signal and he came."
"I want to see him. Is he here?" I felt a bit jealous.
"Yeah. Why?" I tried to keep the snarky ness out of my tone. Jack stroked my cheek.
"I want to thank him for bringing my lover back to me." We headed back toward the TARDIS hand in hand. Jack released my hand when we walked in because the doctor and Clara didn't know about us. When we got inside Jack looked around in wonder. The doctor and Clara came into the console room followed by Gwen and Rex.
"Doctor?" Jack hadn't seen his new regeneration yet.
"Yup. How are ya Jack?"
"The best. I've been fantastic since you guys came." I looked over and saw Clara staring at Jack. I felt jealous again. Jack is so attractive that he turns the head of every woman he meets. I only then realized that Jack hasn't kissed me yet. Clara walked over to Jack obviously still admiring his beauty.
"Hi I'm Clara." She extended her hand to shake his but instead he kissed the top of it. I know it's just him being polite but I really wished he was a bit more... rude I guess. After hugging Gwen and Rex, Jack came to stand next to me. He wrapped his arm protectively around my waist, pulling me closer. I smiled and leaned my head against his shoulder. I love him so much.
"How are you alive?" He asked after a moment of silence.
"I don't know. I do know one thing though. I'm like you now."
"What?"
"I'm immortal."
"How do you know?"
"I shot myself."
"What?! Why?!" Jack raised his voice a bit.
"To test my theory." Jack looked into my eyes.
"Promise me you'll never do that again."
"I promise." Before I knew it Jack was crushing his lips against mine. The kiss was fierce and passionate. I could still taste a small bit of alcohol on his lips. Jack pinned me against the wall with my hands over my head. My fingers intertwined with his as he continued to kiss me. He bit down on my bottom lip begging for entry. After teasing him a bit I finally opened my mouth all the way. He slid his tong in and exploded the inside of my mouth. Our mouths moved in sync like they were made for each other. Our tongs danced together as Jack released my hands. He placed his hands on my hips because he knows it makes me go crazy. My now free hands entangled in Jack's brown hair. Jack teasingly rubbed circles on my sides with his thumbs making me moan with pleasure. He pulled his lips from mine for a brief moment to take a deep breath before going back to my mouth. He sucked on my bottom lip causing it to swell a bit.
"Hey love birds!" Rex called. "We're here." Jack reluctantly broke the kiss making me whimper in disappointment. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist. We walked into the harsh December wind and back to Gwen's house. Rhys and Esther sat on the couch with Anwen in Rhys arms.
"How long have we been gone?" Gwen asked.
"About 10 minutes." Esther answered walking over to Rex.
"We should go. We're expected back at work. Esther hugged Jack before leaving with Rex.
"Us too. Come on Clara." The doctor and Clara hurried back to the TARDIS. We could hear the hushed whooshing sound fading into the background. Jack sat in the red arm chair across from the couch before pulling me down to sit on his lap.
"Ianto mate, you're a mess. Jack only just got back and you've already got a swollen lip." Rhys joked.
"They did snog the whole way back." Gwen and Rhys cracked up.
"Alright. Alright. But I haven't seen him in three months." I justified my swollen lip.
"Yeah and I haven't seen him in ten years." I looked at Jack. It had been ten years. I thought I had it bad waiting three months but he waited ten years.
"Jack?"
"Yes?"
"In those ten years, did you ever see anyone else?" He smiled and shook his head. I instantly felt better. I turned to Gwen and Rhys and we started chatting about random things. Jack started to kiss my neck playfully before it turned into sucking and nipping at my skin. He made lots of little black, blue and red marks all over my neck. It was about one o'clock when Anwen fell asleep. Gwen brought her up to bed while Rhys stayed on the couch.
"Thank you Rhys."
"For what?"
"Letting me stay here."
"No problem. It's a pleasure. Will you be staying tonight?"
"No. We're going to rent a hotel room or something. We need a bit of privacy."
"Well feel free to come back whenever you like. I'm going to miss your coffee."
We all started laughing again. I love my life.

Jack and I had found a reasonably priced hotel room about a mile away from Gwen and Rhys's house. We stepped off the elevator and started walking. Room 221b was at the end of the hallway to the left. I used the key card to open the door. The warm air hit us as we stepped into the room. Jack placed my single bag in the corner where it couldn't be tripped over (I'm very clumsy) and turned back to face me. He grabbed my tie and pulled so that our noses were touching. His hot breath tickled the exposed skin on my neck.
"Did I tell you that you look very hot in that suit?" His voice was just above a whisper. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my hips and started rubbing circles on my sides with his thumbs. I moaned.
"You know you drive me crazy when you do that." I whispered out of breath.
"I know exactly what it does to you and I love it." He pulled me in for a long slow kiss.
"Jack?" I said when I finally pulled away.
"Mm?" He replied still rubbing circles on my sides.
"There's something I need to ask you."
"Anything baby." He let go of my hips and I got down on one knee and pulled a velvet box out of my coat pocket.
