I the sounds of many footsteps coming closer to me.I panicked and went down into the locker room. I noticed an opened locker and thought I could fit in there. The footsteps were coming closer so I had no choice now, I quietly got inside the locker and closed it enough to be hidden but I would be able to get out afterwards. I heard Elliot's voice, I held my breath and watched him pass the locker I was in while calling for me. I honestly don't know why I ran, I guess the emotions took over.

"Liv!" he yelled looking for me. He passed by the locker I was in again but this time he stopped. I held my breath again and hoped he would not open the locker. I let out a quiet breath when he started walking away.

"She's not down here." He said to someone, sounding a bit disappointed. I heard Fin's voice next.

"Where could she possibly go in this building?" He asked.

"I don't know let's check all the interrogation rooms." Elliot said. I heard them leave. I got out of the locker and started walking out of the locker room, I ran into Rollins and my eyes widened.

"Olivia." She said quietly.

"Shh, they'll hear you." I said desperate not to be found.

"Why are you hiding, I thought you'd be happy that Elliot was back." She stated clearly confused.

"He left without saying goodbye, and he doesn't call or make any effort to keep in touch and he has the nerve to come back and think everything will be normal. All the emotions from the day Cragen told me Elliot put in his papers came flooding back and overwhelmed me. I am happy he is back, but I am still upset that he didn't make any effort to maintain our friendship." I said tears starting to fill my eyes. I tried to hold them back, but I failed, the tears started to stream down my face resembling a waterfall. Amanda came over and hugged me. I wiped my tears away and sat down on one of the benches. Amanda sat down next to me.

"How am I going to get out of here without Elliot seeing me?" I asked.

"I can call Cragen down here and we can get you a different outfit. You hide your face and Cragen can escort you into his office." She said.

"That's a good idea. I don't know if I am ready to face Elliot yet, I need some time to calm down from all the overwhelming emotions." I say smiling. She looked through her locker and found the perfect outfit from some extra clothes that she keeps here in case she needs them. Amanda called Cragen while I was getting dressed.

"Hey Cap, can you come down to the locker room?...Liv is down here, she doesn't want Stabler to see her yet." She said into the phone.

"Alright, thanks cap." She said and hung up. It only took Cragen a few minutes to come down here.  

"Alright come here Liv, I'll escort you to my office like a victim." He said putting his hand on my back and escorted me out of the locker room. We took a back way, so we could walk in the prescient like from the entrance. I put my head down and covered my face when we got close to the entrance. 

"Whose this?" Elliot asks walking closer to me. 

"New vic, she wants to talk to me no one else. Back off Stabler." Cragen says and Elliot backs away putting his hands up. We get to Cragen's office. He shut door and locked the door. Then closed the blinds on the glass part of the door as well as the windows. I took my disguise off and sat down in the chair across his desk.

"Why are you avoiding Elliot?" Cragen asked breaking the silence. I tried desperately to avoid answering the question.

"Liv, nobody is in here but you and I, now please answer. Why are you avoiding Elliot?" He asked me again. I knew I couldn't avoid to answer any longer. I could see the concern in his eyes.

"He left without saying goodbye, and didn't try to keep in touch. I thought we were friends, that he would try and maintain our friendship, but I was wrong. " I said feeling tears start to fill my eyes again. He walked over to me as I stood up and he hugged me in a fatherly way.

"Liv, you are like a daughter to me. I hate to see you hurting like this, the reason he left without saying goodbye was because he said it would be too difficult saying bye to you, he couldn't do it." He said. I looked at him surprised at his answer.

"He loves you Olivia." He said.

"How do you know?" I asked in shock.

"I can tell, just like I can tell you love him too." He said. I started to blush.

"I just don't know if I can face him yet." I said to him.

"Liv, you're the strongest person I know, I know you can face him, he's trying to fix things with you." He said.

"Thanks cap." I said hugging him.

"No problem, if you ever need to talk about anything, don't hesitate to come in my office." He said walking towards his door and opening it. Before I walked out I heard Elliot's voice.

"I don't know where she is. She's gone. I thought she would be happy that I am back." He said looking down. I walked out of Cragen's office and Fin saw me and looked at Elliot and back at me. I could tell he was asking if it was ok with me to say something to Elliot. I nodded and Fin tapped his shoulder. Elliot looked up at Fin, and turned around when Fin pointed behind him. He saw me his face lit up and he smiled. He walked over to me and said.

"Olivia, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left without saying goodbye, and I should've kept in contact. I want you to know how difficult it was for me leaving you without saying goodbye. I-I love you Olivia." He said tearing up.I just hugged him, he hugged me tight tears streaming down his face.

"I should've come back sooner." He said tears still streaming down his face.

"I love you too Elliot." I said hugging him tight.

"So you forgive me?" He asked wiping his eyes.

"Of course." I said wiping my tears from my cheeks.

"I missed you Liv." He said smiling down at me. 

"I missed you too El." I said smiling up at him.

"What about Kathy? I thought she didn't want you to come back." I asked him.

"We got a divorce. She cheated on me for months." He replied.

"I'm sorry El." I told him. 

"It's ok. Now I can be with the one I really want to be with." He said smiling at me. I blushed at his words. He hugged me again before going to his desk and starting some paper work. I went to my desk to finish some paperwork and think about the case we have. I couldn't stop smiling. Elliot is back, I get to work with my best friend again, and maybe something will happen between us. Today has been a good day so far.
