3rd Pov

Ma and Pa kept chatting about various things in the car and flirting sometimes. Meanwhile Yun who is bored after eating ice cream falls asleep to waste time.

Ma : " Oh, right , we need to buy groceries."

Pa : "is the fridge empty , I thought we already buy for a month?"

Ma : "Yeah , but we keep eating because of stress and well, late night eating and overtime."

Pa : "Oh. Let's stop by nearby shopping mall then."

Pa then drives the car and arrives to the nearest shopping mall. Pa then park the car and looks backseat seeing Yun still in dreamland.

Pa : 'How did this guy can sleep that long, it's been more than 2 hours.'

Pa then nudges Yun leg stirring him awake and Yun then wakes up slowly.

Yun : "Yes?"

Pa : "Come on, we're in shopping mall now, let's go."

Yun nodded sloppily and rubs his face slowly opening the car's door to avoid collision to another car. He then walks out and gently closes the door making a gentle crash sound.

Yun : "What are we even gonna buy?"

Yun asked Ma.

Ma : "Groceries, clothes and some other necessities. Because you're in coma , there are many other things change like your weight for example."

Yun looks at his body which is lean but muscular , particularly Yun used to be obese and even girls don't think of him as attractive.

Yun Pov

Oh, right, my body changed.

Yun : "Then, we need to buy clothes because I don't think my other clothes will fit."

Ma : "Yup."

Ma confirmed and Pa also going out of car slowly and closing the door and he press a button and the car made a beep sound once signaling it's lock state.

All of us then start to enter the mall. The air conditioner blows off as the sliding door open and we enter the mall. The temperature greatly dropped as it was continuously blows by an AC. I look around and see many people.

But the first thing I look is information board to look for floor in mall. I then found one and it was equipped with touch screen for additional information. I point the board to Ma and she looks at the direction and nodded.

Ma : "Pa , let's go to the information board first."

Pa : "Hmm, sure thing."

Pa agrees with Ma priorities.

We walk and stop in front of it. I look at the touch screen and touch the clothing category. It then promptly shows the list of shop names and floor number.

Yun : "Hm, the times sure have changed."

I said to myself but Pa heard it.

Pa : "Times have changed , huh, well you're in coma and the world changed a lot while you sleep."

I nodded as if to agree but don't really want to voice my opinions.

We then get going to the clothes shop based on floor number.

Pa : "That said , you sure gotten more sharp lately."

Pa said and I look at Pa confused.

Yun : "Meaning?"

Pa : "Usually, you would just ask if we would eat here , buy toy or many things for example."

Yun : "Meh....I like books more right now, and figure how I could mess with anything."

I said with a straight laced face.

Pa : "The fact what you just said is true is kinda concerning."

Pa sweats.

I smile a little.

Yun : "Then , Pa , how would you declare your love for Ma for her to fall in love with you again ? "

Pa : "Wha?"

Ma then start to blushes a little , glancing at Pa who is shocked a little.

The lifts then reached the shop floor number and open. I walk out and say

Yun : "If it were me , I would say 'Hey, my mom told me to explore mystery , can i explore you?' like that?"

Pa and Ma blushes furiously and they walk out of the door and Ma start to pinch my cheeks and pull it to hide her embarrassment.

Ma : "Be quiet, Yun!"

I smile and laugh a little prompting Ma to pull harder.

Yun : "Alright, Alright. I'll stop."

Ma then let go of my cheeks. I rub it.

Yun : 'Good grief, Ma reminds too much of another world.'

We then enter the clothes shop , I just follow Ma because I would just pick plain clothes too much and Ma would not like that.i glance at Pa and found him also the same as situation as mine.

3rd Pov

A female cashier who worked there looks at the new group of customers and found that only the woman in that group are chirpy looking at the new clothes. This happens several times and the two males in that group were just nodded and shake their head everytime the woman bring new clothes.

Cashier : 'The guys sure don't like going to clothes shop and I highly doubt they will leave for 1 hour.'

True to her words, they didn't leave for 2 hours.

Yun : "Ma , can we leave now?"

Yun said mentally tired.

Pa : "Yeah."

Pa also said the same with same energy.

Ma : "Just a bit.....and done."

Ma said picking the clothes and put it in the basket which had tons of clothes.

Yun : "Great , now we can go to the cashier and I already pick my shoe and underwear and jacket and bag for clothes as well!"

Yun said excitedly before taking the aforementioned items and put it at counter making Ma and Pa baffled. Pa quickly snapped out of it and urged Ma to follow Yun.

The cashier then promptly scan each tag before taking out the hanger and ready the plastic to wrap the clothes.

Each scan is smooth and the cashier calculates the total and Ma pays it. As usual , the price of clothes sometimes is sure exaggerated, sometimes.

Yun then walks out of the shop and stop at trolley station and pull out one trolley and return back to the shop.

Yun : "Here."

Yun said pointing to the trolley.

Ma smiles.

Ma : "Good boy."

Yun's face showed a mixed reaction.

Yun : "Can you not say that, Ma?"

Ma : "Why not?"

Yun : 'I can't tell her that I'm already an adult long time ago!' "I don't like it."

Ma : "*Gasps* "Are-are you sure you're alright, son?"

Yun deadpanned because Ma is already overreacting.

Yun : "In the past, maybe. But right now, I've already grown."

Pa : "Yer Fifteen.Last I check, that's a minor."

Yun : "........."

Ma : "*Smug*"

Yun : ""Oh, dear, hath thou fall from this cliff, because I cannot-"

Yun's mouth then got shut thanks to Pa who had an embarrassed look towards Ma.

Pa : "Dear , I think our son has gone hungry! Shall we have lunch?!"

Yun didn't struggle one bit as Pa whispers.

Pa : "Keep this quiet from your mother and I'll give you lot of snack."

Yun nodded and thus promptly releases by Pa who smile and Yun just quietly sigh.

Yun : "This quirk of family seems to switch a lot. That explains why I've got weird look sometimes."

The family then decided to go to eatery to fill their belly. Yun looks around as if to remember the shop used to be there only to find that many shop had changed.

Yun : "A lot changed in here."

Yun said pointing to one shop that sells chicken fried rice.

Yun : "That used to be char kuey teow shop."

Ma and Pa look at where Yun pointing.

Ma : "Oh, that shop , I heard the owner was moving to different state. That's why he closes the shop and this shop pop out."

Yun : "And that's where old drink shop used to be."

Pa : "The owner died and nobody in that shop know how to do business."

Yun look at both of them.

Yun : "How did you know what happened to them? In specific shop nonetheless."

Ma : "News and Gossip."

Ma said seriously.

Yun : ".......Fair.Let just eat."

Yun said with resignation.

Yun buy his food and drinks for Ma and Pa and we seat together. As he eat with Ma commenting sometimes about his food tastes , he didn't bother to comment about someone looking at his way sensing that the person doesn't have malicious intentions.

??? : "Wait....is that him?"

The person then walks slowly towards Yun's group and tries to see the person in question.

??? : "No way , you're awake?!"

Yun then look at the person along with Ma and Pa.

Yun : "Hmm, do I know you?"

??? : "What? It's me, Alphonse!"

Yun : "Hm......Wait, Al?! Is that you?!"

Yun said shocked. He quickly looks at Al who is more handsome and manly than him.

Yun : "Wow , you've grown!"

Pa : "Son , who is this?"

Ma nodded at Pa's question.

Yun : "Oh, right, this is Alphonse , the academic nerd as I like to call him."

Yun introduces Alphonse to Pa and Ma.

Ma : "Oh , you did say that you have a friend helps you out in homework?! Is that him?!"

Yun nodded and turn to Alphonse.

Yun : "By the way , have you eaten lunch yet?"

Alphonse tries to say something but his stomach growled.

Alphonse : "Ahaha, it seems my stomach has spoken."

Alphonse replied in embarrassment.

Yun : "Come , have lunch with us before you go your business."

Pa and Ma smiled at Yun's action and Yun look at them.

Pa : "Sure, here some money."

Pa said holding out some money from his wallet.

Alphonse : "N-No, I can just buy my lunch using my money."

Alphonse tried to refuse before Yun's slung his arm at Alphonse's shoulder.

Yun : "If you don't accept this , I will take it as you don't want to celebrate my health."

Yun said with a heinous smile.

Alphonse can just only hesitate and answered yes with a sigh.

Alphonse : "Yes."

Alphonse then take the money from Yun who gives it to him and promptly buy food and seat with them.

Alphonse : "Thank you for the food."

Alphonse said before he digs in.

Yun : "Ho, eat with a gutso!"

Yun said as he eat his food.

Pa : "We've never seen his classmates as far as we recall. Yun never talks much about school in home."

Alphonse : "Eh, really , I guess he didn't act differently either at home or school."

Alphonse replied after eating spoonful of his food.

Yun : "Eh, never any reason to tell adults much about school , aren't it? Besides , even if I tell a funny story , I highly doubt Pa and Ma would accept how I tell them the story."

Ma : "Well, we are adults after all."

Yun : "See? That's what I said. So , I just keep quiet and in school , I'm not really much talkative or knowing trend and all that jazz."

Yun said as he sipped his drinks.

Alphonse : "And let's not talk about how you don't even have many topics to talk about other than games."

Yun : "Because I spent more time with video games more than I spent times with human being."

Ma : "You're making me worried here."

Ma replied due to what Yun's said.

Yun : "And , book that I tend to read often called ero-you know what even though it's not one just because of the cover."

Alphonse , Pa and Ma : "Ah."

Alphonse : "Well, anybody first thought will think it's that."

Yun : "Well , anyhow ,what were you doing here? "

Alphonse : "Ah, I was just finished checking my shop I make around here."

Yun : "Really , where is the shop?"

Yun asks and Alphonse point his finger at a book shop.

Yun : "Oh , a book shop , huh, as expected of academy nerd."

Yun said with a laugh.

Alphonse : "Well , that being said , what were you doing here?"

Yun : "Shopping, my body change way too much."

Yun said making Alphonse look at Yun's figure.

Alphonse :"Wow , just wow. You look muscular but lean. Dang."

Alphonse said with envy.

Yun : "Nothing to be proud of when you're only sleeping. Besides , Doctor control much of my calories at hospital to begin with."

Alphonse : "Oh. Does that mean you intend to confess to Shizumi again?"

Pa and Ma choked on their food and promptly coughing.

Yun : "......."

Yun said nothing as Pa and Ma just calm themselves and observe the exchange quietly.

Yun : "No , I don't think so."

Alphonse : "Really?....You've changed."

Yun : "Haha , dreaming for a long time can do that."

Yun answered.

Alphonse : "I....see. I guess you already got over her, then?"

Yun laughed slightly and smiled.

Yun : " Instead of that , what happened at school after I go into coma?"

Alphonse : "Oh, you caused a riot but it died down after a while and nothing happened."

Yun suddenly feel despair.

Yun : "Here I thought I am important."

Yun mumbled sadly.

Ma and Pa then spoke.

Pa : "Well , at the very least , we visit every week. Hahaha."

Yun got even more depressed.

Yun : "Does that mean my social circle is quite small."

Pa, Ma and Alphonse sweatdrop.

Alphonse : "Haha, at least you're awake now!"

Alphonse say trying to cheer up Yun.

Yun then suddenly turned his head to look at Alphonse making him startled.

Yun : "You're right. I shouldn't care about people who won't visit me without good reason. By all means , they're fake, right?"

Alphonse : "Eh?"

Yun got close to Alphonse and inching closer to his face.

Yun : "They're fake, right?"

Yun said as his eyes had become more hollow the more he talk before a hand pinch his cheeks showing Ma is pulling his cheeks making Yun snapped out of it.

Yun : "Oh, sorry."

Yun said and return back to normal.

Alphonse sigh in relief and leaned on chair backrest.

Alphonse : 'Scary.'

With that , all of them finished eating and spend talking before Alphonse had to leave for his business. Yun and his family then get ready to return home.

Pa : "Boy, I never know you have one."

Pa said with a sly grin in his voice.

Yun : "Urgh.It's just a crush, nothing special."

Ma : "Just a crush, sure......When did you confess then?"

Ma said with a smile.

Yun : "We are not having this conversation right now."

Pa : "Oh, you're willing then? I can't wait."

Yun : "Ma, Pa!"

Yun said with embarrassment prompting Pa and Ma to laugh while walking to their car.

Alphonse Pov

Well , that went well , It's good to see Yun wake up considering he goes to coma for one year unscathed.

I look at the report from my shop and sees many statistics , summary and other work related data in my house.

I sigh because I feel so relieved because the only honest friend I had was him. It made school lest boring and less lonely.

I put the report aside and open the file from my desk drawer and began researching the data for finance management. A doorbell snap my attention and I look at the door. I walk and open slowly to peer outside first.

I see a woman I know and open widely.

Alphonse : "Akane! You come!"

Akane : "Hey Alphonse, I've come after all."

Akane said nonchalantly.

Alphonse : "Come in! Come in!"

Akane : "You know , if I didn't know what you mean with your invitation, I would put it right off the bat."

Alphonse : "Eh, but I was talking about book, did you think something else?"

Akane sigh and enter the house.

Akane : "Good grief, I wonder if you say that to everyone."

Akane glances at Alphonse who is still dumbfounded.

Akane : "Nevermind , so , where are the book?"

Akane said with a smile.

Yun Pov

I insert the key for gate's door and unlock and pull out the key and insert different key for door. I then slowly open it and enter. I flip the light switch based on my memory here.

The light switch on lighting the house from darkness, I teared up a little but managed to conceal it from my parents because it's been long time I been here.

Yun : 'Home Sweet Home.'
