It was an ordinary day in New York City.  Everyone was just getting out of school for summer break at Southside high. Everyone was filling out of the school throwing papers in the air and yelling "Schools done!"

Dipper and Mabel Pines walked out of the school and headed home.

"Dipper aren't you excited! Next year we're gonna be seniors, then the year after that we'll be in college."  Mabel said as she skipped down the sidewalk.  Dipper was walking behind Mable kicking a rock and looking down at the pavement.

"Yeah very." Dipper said not really paying any attention to what his sister was saying.

"What's wrong dip? It's summer vacation! No more school, no more papers. Just parties and fun and...parties!

"Yup fun." Dipper said still kicking the rock. Mabel stopped and stood in front of her brother. Dipper kept walking until he was right in front of his sister.

"Your still thinking about Gravity Falls aren't you." Mabel said.

"Of course I am." Dipper said.

"Dipper, it's been so long since we were there. I can't even remember how many years."

"5 years, 25 days, 8 hours and 5 minutes." Dipper said.

"Well, I didn't ask for all that." Mabel said. "Listen Bro Bro, like you said it's been years since we were back in Gravity Falls.

"I know, I know. But...I don't know. I just have this feeling thats something is pulling me back." Dipper said.

"That's ridiculous. Your just missing it or maybe it's something else that's maybe pulling you back." Mabel said. "Or someone?"

"Mabel, you know I'm over Wendy." Dipper said.

"Yeah right." Mabel said. "You still love her. You really really love her!" Mabel sang.

"No Mabel, I don't." Dipper said and kept walking. Mabel followed him. "It's somethings else that's pulling me back. You know what...lets stop talking about this." They kept walking and walked into an apartment building and went up to room 1218. That's where the pine twins and their parents lived. It was a two story apartment and was always neat and tidy.

Mabel and Dipper went up stairs to their rooms.  Mabel's room was full of unicorns and kitten stuffed animals and stickers.  Her walls were pink and her bed was blue and her pillows were purple.  Mabel sat at her desk and pulled out her tablet and pulled up a movie.

Dippers room was like any ordinary teenage boy room.  His walls were a dark blue and his bed was blue and his pillows black.  On his desk was his blue hat he had gotten from gravity falls and his book he found in the woods written by his great uncle Ford.  He kept the hat and book as a reminder of all his adventures in Gravity Falls, but whenever he looked at them he felt sad.  He missed Gravity Falls and wanted to go back more than anything.

Dipper and Mabel's parents don't come back from work until 8.00 at night, so they have to cook dinner for themselves.  The twins walked downstairs and walked in the kitchen.

"So dippy, whatcha want for din din?"  Mabel said.

"I don't know there's a few slices of pizza in the fridge so how about you heat them up and I'll go downstairs and get the mail."  Dipper said.

"Ok bro bro."  Mabel said.  Dipper walked out of the apartment and walked downstairs and went to the 1218 mail square locker.  He opened it and saw only 5 letters.  He grabbed them and closed the locker.  He looked at all the letters.  They were all bills except for the last one.  It was from Dipper and Mabel's great uncle Ford.  Dipper was surprised.  He hadn't heard from Ford every since they got back from Gravity Falls 6 years ago.

Dipper opened the letter and what he read surprised him.

Dear Mabel and Dipper,

I hope you two are doing well.  Me and my brother are so sorry we haven't contacted you for some time.  But we have a problem.  I believe that Bill is gonna return and he is not working alone.  I'm not sure who, but he his.  I don't know his evil plan but I know for sure it involves the pines family.  We would really appreciate it if you two come help us.  This is urgent so when you get this letter you'll need to contact us as soon a possible.

PS, Dipper if you two do come bring the book.

After Dipper read it, he ran up stairs and burst into the apartment.

"Whoa.  Where's the fire Dipper?"  Mabel asked. 

"Look what we got in the mail."  Dipper said and handed the letter to Mabel.  Mabel grabbed it and read it.  She was just as surprised as Dipper.

"Dipper...I don't know what to say?  What do we do?"  Mabel asked.

"What do you mean what do we do?  We have to go back to Gravity Falls!"  Dipper said.
