( 𝟎𝟑𝟏 ) the gay nightclub
'frenemy'

ALYSSA, SCOTT AND Stiles all set off the second they saw Jackson run off in his Kanima form, instantly climbing into Stiles' jeep, driving off at a fast rate in order to catch up to him before he had the chance to kill anyone.
The three of them were hoping to get to Jackson before Derek killed him, as they thought they may be able to help him and get him to control his shifting, and Alyssa knew for a fact that Derek wouldn't give him the chance..
She hadn't given Scott and Stiles a second to think through a plan, before she pushed them both to the jeep, having seen her brother run off already - so they all climbed in, and Stiles set off, until they eventually had to stop due to spikes in the road, bringing the jeep to a stop.
"What do we do now?" Stiles asked the two teen wolves, but before he even finished the sentence, Scott and Alyssa had sprung out of the jeep, and were already heading towards the tall fence in front of them, Scott waiting for Alyssa to climb off, before he placed his hand on her back, ushering her onwards, to which the two then ran off at full speed, leaving Stiles on his own, per usual.
"What are we gonna do if we find him?" Alyssa asked Scott as they ran through the dark alleys, keeping their eyes peeled for any sign on Jackson. The fact that they were quite behind with tracking him, meant that it was hard to catch his scent straight away, but they were going to try.
"I don't know." Scott answered, turning a tight corner, with Alyssa following closely behind.
"So we have no plan?" Alyssa asked, not at all surprised that the two of them had no plan of action for if they did find Jackson, her biggest guess was that they were going to try and hold him off until morning, so he couldn't kill anyone. That was the only thing they could do at the moment.
"No." Scott said, before they finally set eyes on Jackson up ahead, in full Kanima form, hunched in front of Allison's grandfather, but not attacking him.. Yet.
Scott instantly headed forwards before Alyssa even had the chance, not wanting her in direct sight of the Kanima like last time, when she almost died from drowning, and with a harsh shove, he had saved Allison's grandfather, and the Kanima was once again, running away.
Alyssa grunted in annoyance and sprinted after him again, not even looking back at Scott, knowing that he would follow instantly, and that he did, all the way to a nightclub, where the tiny scent for the Kanima had paused, indicating that Jackson may be inside of the building.
She poked her head around the corner to see if they could get in, but she quickly realised that none of them had fake I.D on them, meaning that they weren't going to have an easy time at sneaking in there..
The two werewolves were quickly joined by Stiles, who was out of breath from having to run to where they both stood, having parked his car a while away before rushing over here. "Did you see where he went?" Stiles asked them both, hoping that when they ditched him, they found Jackson in the meantime.
Alyssa sighed in annoyance, "We lost him." She told Stiles, slouching against the wall in defeat.
The Kanima's scent was incredibly hard to find, it was almost as if he didn't even have one.. Which didn't make any sense, as everyone had their own sense.
"What?" Stiles gasped, surprise that they hadn't been able to keep up with him, "Can't you guys find his scent?" He asked.
"I don't think he has one." Scott informed his best friend, worrying just as much as Alyssa at the fact that they couldn't pin point exactly where Jackson had gone.
"All right." Stiles spoke, drifting off in his thoughts, trying to figure out a new plan of action now he realised that Scott and Alyssa couldn't find the boys scent. "Any clue on where he's going?" He then asked, hoping they had some idea on what to do - they had to do something.
"Well, obviously he's on his way to kill someone, Stiles." Alyssa answered annoyingly, giving him a look to suggest that he was stupid. What else would the Kanima be doing? Going to party at a gay nightclub? She was pretty sure that Jackson wasn't gay..
Stiles rolled his eyes, "Ah! That explains the claws, and the fangs and all that." He replied sarcastically, "Good. Makes perfect sense, now." He said.
Scott shook his head at the two bickering, "Guys, not now." He warned them, as they had bigger problems at hand rather than Stiles' sarcastic words.
"What? Guys, come on. I'm one hundred and forty-seven pounds of pale skin and fragile bone, okay?" He ranted, "Sarcasm is my only defence!" He defended.
"Yeah, well we don't need that right now, Stiles!" Alyssa replied, annoyed that he always had something sarcastic to say when they were trying to sort something out. She didn't understand why he couldn't be a normal human for once and get on with the task at hand.
"Stiles, just help us find it." Scott told his best friend, backing up Alyssa.
"Not 'it', Jackson." Stiles corrected.
"I don't think he realises that right now, Stiles." Alyssa told Stiles, softer this time, "I know we all hate Jackson, but I wouldn't class him as a serial killer." She said.
Stiles nodded at her statement, "Yeah, I guess." He answered, knowing that she could be right, "But, did anybody else see him back at your house?" He asked.
"I don't think so." Scott admitted, this whole thing going over his head. He was too focused on Alyssa and fighting Derek's pack and he honestly wasn't paying any attention to Jackson at all.. "But he already passed Derek's test already." He pointed out.
"Yeah, but that's just the thing. How did he pass the test?" Stiles pointed out.
"This makes no sense." Alyssa sighed, not knowing how they were supposed to sort this whole thing out and shop the murders. She knew that Derek would be on top of things if she was still in his pack.. But she wasn't, and she needed to get that through her head.
"Maybe it's like an or thing." Stiles spoke, causing Scott and Alyssa to glance at him in confusion, "I mean, Derek said that a snake can't be poisoned by its own venom, right? When's the Kanima not the Kanima?" He asked.
"When it's Jackson." Scott and Alyssa ended up saying at the same time, finally making sense of the whole thing, now.
The two of them looked up at each other after realising that Stiles was right - Jackson couldn't have possibly been affected by his own venom when he wasn't transformed, making Stiles' point correct..
They were both caught in each others stares, silently reading each other's minds, when Stiles backed away from the two, looking up at the roof of the building in shock.
"Uh, guys." He trailed off, not taking his eyes off of the huge snake like creature crawling into a window at the top of the building.
Alyssa's face instantly dropped at the sight of Stiles backing away from her and Scott, and the two followed instantly, following their eyesight up to where he was currently staring at - the second she did so, she saw the tail of Jackson entering a window, meaning that she was right, and he wanted to murder someone inside of the club.
"We gotta get inside." She spoke up, looking back at the line of the club, trying to sort through a plan in her mind on how they were going to get inside and stop Jackson.
"I know who he's after." Scott eventually spoke up, piecing together the clues in his head.
"What, how? Did you smell something?" Stiles asked, as Alyssa kept her eyes on Scott, trying to read into what he might mean.
"Armani."
The three teenagers headed around the back, hoping to find a side door that they could somehow sneak into in order to get into the club, and when they did, Scott pulled off the handle, and ushered Alyssa inside, with Stiles following behind the two, feeling like a third wheel, more than he would be with Scott and Allison - but it didn't exactly surprise him. He had known something had been happening between the two of them since Alyssa had first joined the school, he knew his best friend, which meant he knew his feelings, or he liked to think he did.
The second the three teenagers entered the club through the back, they all knew they were out of place - especially Alyssa, as she couldn't find another girl in sight. She was hoping that they could get away with saying that Stiles was gay, and they were bringing him here as his birthday, but she knew that he wouldn't be happy with that idea..
"Dude, everyone in here's a dude.." Scott yelled over the loud music, making sure to keep a hold on Alyssa's arm so he didn't loose her in the crowd. She kept her grip back on him, not exactly liking places like these - it was too loud. "I think we're in a gay club." He shouted.
"You don't say!" Alyssa shouted back, rolling her eyes at his stupidity - of course they were in a gay club.
As soon as the two werewolves turned around, they saw Stiles swarmed by men, stroking him in lust, and Alyssa couldn't help but laugh at the sight. At least it was making it more obvious that Stiles was their gay friend.
It was when Scott set eyes on Danny, did he take Alyssa's hand and pull her towards the bar, not letting go until he was sure that she was right next to him and not going anywhere.
"Three beers." He ordered, not even realising that Alyssa didn't drink before he had spoke. She didn't see a point as they physically couldn't get drunk, but she didn't say anything, wanting to stick with their plan.
When the bartender scanned the three of them in suspicion, Alyssa realised that they definitely weren't going to get served, and her point had proved right, when he asked them the one question she wished that he wouldn't.
"ID's?" The man questioned, knowing that the three of them definitely weren't twenty-one.
Alyssa didn't even bother bringing out her ID when the man had asked for it, the fact he had smirked after reading the ID's, gave her al the answers she needed to realise they weren't getting served. "We'll have some cokes, please" She asked the bartender, smiling at him apologetically, so he wouldn't kick them out for being underaged.
"Rum and coke." Stiles corrected, earning a look of annoyance from Alyssa, as he was ruining her plan. When the bartender dropped his smile at the girl and sent a glare at Stiles, knowing that he couldn't serve him, Stiles quickly changed his attitude. "Coke's fine, actually. I'm driving anyway." He then said to the man.
When three cokes were brought over, the other bartender smiled flirtily at Scott, "That one's paid for." He told the boy, motioning over to a man across the bar, who raised his drink when the three teenagers looked over at him.
Alyssa didn't even know how to act at the fact a gay man had bought Scott a drink.. She felt a bubbly feeling in her stomach and it was quite unsettling, and she didn't even know why. Obviously Scott wasn't gay, and he wasn't interested in the man, but for some reason, she found herself glaring at the man who had bought Scott a drink.
When she felt a nudge in her stomach, she turned to the left to see Stiles looking at her with his eyebrows raised, having caught the way Alyssa was looking at the man who bought Scott a drink like she wanted to kill him.
Instantly, she looked away, blush rising to her cheeks at the fact that Stiles had caught her, maybe even realising what she was thinking, and she couldn't risk that right now, not with everything going on. The last thing she should be thinking about, was her feelings.
The three teenagers turned around and searched the dance floor for Danny, to which Stiles had pointed him out, but Alyssa on the other hand, out of instinct, followed Scott's eyesight and where he was looking, and found the Kanima, above the dance floor, scoping out who he wanted to kill.
She knew that she and Scott had to get to the Kanima and get him out, so that left Stiles, who they needed to get Danny out of here and to safety.
"Get Danny." Scott told Stiles, before he took Alyssa's hand, and the two went through the dance floor once more, keeping a tight hold on each other so they didn't get split up. They couldn't risk getting caught by the Kanima.
However, as they got halfway through the dance floor, they lost the Kanima, and now they didn't know what to do.
"I can't see him!" Alyssa informed Scott, her eyes searching the area for any sign of the Kanima, but she couldn't find anything. When she looked forwards, she spotted Jackson, hovering over what looked to be a paralysed Danny, "Scott!" She yelled, tugging his hand to indicate that Jackson is that way and above Danny, about to kill again.
The two set off, hoping to pull Jackson off of Danny and save him, but the second they started pushing through the crowd once again, Alyssa spotted her brother, fully shifted, glaring at Jackson through his glowing red eyes..
"Scott, it's Derek!" She shouted, speeding up to stop her brother from what he was about to do. She knew that look in his eyes - he wanted to kill Jackson, and she also knew that there was no stopping him if he had his mind set on something so big.
"No, stop!" Scott shouted, after hearing Alyssa warn him about her brother, but he was too late, as Derek had already plunged his claws into Jackson's stomach, dragging him out of the club while he had the chance, as everyone was too worried about the paralysed men on the floor.
So, without thinking, the two teenagers followed them instantly, leaving from where they had broken into the club, through the broken door, finally coming out and being able to breathe in actual air that wasn't riddled with sweat and alcohol.
As they came out into the night, they saw a blood trail, causing the two to follow it without question, and dwhen they saw the end of the trail.. Jackson was lying on the ground, blood surrounding his body, as he coughed up even more blood. "What do we do?" Alyssa asked, taking off her jacket and pushing it down onto Jackson's stomach to hopefully stop the bleeding, but she didn't know if it would work, as he had been pierced by an alpha's claws, meaning that he wouldn't heal if he had that ability - at least, not for a while and not on his own. "We can't let him die." She told Scott, looking up at him with a panicked look.
This was exactly why Scott had fallen hard for Alyssa - even if her brother wanted Jackson dead, she wasn't giving up saving him, as there could be something worth saving, and he could be fixed. He didn't exactly want to admit his feelings for the girl, as he technically was still with Allison, but he knew that he had to end things with her. It wasn't fair being with someone when you had feelings for another girl, and he didn't want to be that guy.
He had to break up with Allison, it was just a matter of when.
