( 𝟎𝟐𝟔 ) derek's attack

   'ice pick'

      ⋅⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅⋅

DEREK HAD BITTEN Boyd without Alyssa's help, and she couldn't be more mad at him at the fact he didn't consult with her first. Boyd seemed like a guy who wanted the bite for wrong reasons, and she didn't know how he would take the whole bite and the pack business.
Not that she didn't like Boyd - in fact, he was one of the most nicest boy she had ever known, but she just didn't know if he should have had the bite. Obviously, Derek wouldn't listen to her, so now Boyd was the newest member of the Hale pack..

Alyssa was in a bad mood simply because they no longer had a home, and they had to sleep in a place like this, but Derek going behind her back and biting Boyd just put the icing on top of the cake. Now he was the alpha, he didn't think he had to share anything with Alyssa, and it hurt; they used to be a pair, the two never doing anything without the other. But, now.. Derek didn't care. He didn't need her anymore.
Even when she confronted him about why he went on without her, he didn't care - he simply gave her a bored look.

"You're kidding me right now, do you even know what you're doing?" Alyssa scoffed, rushing after Derek, as he started to leave their abandoned, temporary home.
"I know I suggested him, but we didn't even look into him properly, what if he.." She began to explain, only for Derek to interrupt her by turning around abruptly and giving her a look that made her stop in her tracks immediately.

"I know what I'm doing, Liss." He snapped, "We need anyone we can get right now, so Argent and his hunters can't get the jump on us."

"I know that, but it would be nice if you involved me in things like this. We're supposed to be a team." Alyssa told him, hoping to remind him of how they once were.
She didn't like the person he was turning into.

Derek huffed in annoyance at her response, knowing that he didn't need her help anymore - now he was an alpha, he was more powerful than ever.
Instead of responding to her, he left her alone in their temporary abandoned home, not wanting to deal with her. He had more issues at hand, and didn't have time to deal with her worries.

When Alyssa watched him walk away, her heart sunk, knowing that the alpha status had completely changed the man he once was. He used to care, and now it seemed like he didn't care about anyone else expect himself and the hunters. All he wanted was revenge, and it wasn't healthy.
Alyssa wasn't even sure she wanted to be in the pack anymore - but what was she supposed to do? She couldn't be an omega, she'd get killed.

Unknown to Alyssa, Isaac was in the background, watching as the scene went down, feeling bad for the girl he liked.
She had been nothing but nice to him since he had been bitten, and he felt like she didn't deserve Derek to treat her like he had been - he and Erica could see how he had been acting towards her, but it's not like they could do anything about it; they were only betas.
"Are you okay?" He asked the Hale girl.

Alyssa turned around quickly at the sound of Isaac, not realising that he was behind her, being so invested in her conversation with Derek.
She quickly nodded, hiding any emotion that was once present on her face, "Yeah, I'm good." She told Isaac, moving past him so she could get her things for school.

"You wanna talk?" Isaac asked following her as she went to her 'room'. He noticed that she clearly didn't want to talk, but he also knew that she should get some of her anger out and talk to someone.
As he was the first one to be bitten by Derek, he had been watching as they turned the others, and each time, Derek had been ordering around like she was nothing. Isaac didn't exactly know how the two acted before Derek was the alpha, but he noticed how hurt Alyssa was, and that showed that the two had a better relationship before the alpha status began to change the man.

"No." Alyssa replied, practically pretending he wasn't there as she packed a few things into her bag.
She didn't even know if she wanted to come back. She had nowhere else to go, her old home had been claimed and Derek had all of the money from their mom and Peter, as she wasn't of age. She didn't know what she would do.

She ignored the hurt look on Isaac's face when she pushed past him again. She didn't want to deal with him at the moment, being in a terrible mood.
Lately, Isaac had been following her around like a lost puppy, when she wasn't at school, and she didn't exactly know how to feel about it. It was like he didn't know how to act.
She didn't know if it was because he was new at this whole thing, and needed some help from her, as Derek wasn't exactly the nicest person to go to for help - but still, it freaked her out a little bit.

Shaking her head in annoyance, she finally left their temporary home, leaving Isaac behind.

The second that Alyssa walked onto the school grounds, she began to be bomb barded with questions from Stiles about who the next beta was, and how he believed it to be Boyd. Not only that, but he was incredibly proud of himself that he had figured it out on his own.
"Stiles, you have to leave me alone before I rip your tongue out of your mouth." She eventually told him, his voice making her want to do so.
She wasn't in the mood for any of this, especially the spastic boy.

Stiles' eyes widened in surprised that she had snapped at him - normally she would at least wait until he was finished until she insulted him, but today it seemed like she didn't have one care in the world. Something was definitely wrong with her.
"What's up with you?" He dared to ask, flinching slightly when she glared at him. Alyssa never failed to scare Stiles..

"I'm just not in the mood, Stiles." Alyssa replied, walking faster in hopes that she could get away from him, but when he followed behind her, she grunted in annoyance. "What do you want?"

"Derek's going to bite Boyd, isn't he?" Stiles asked her, hoping that he could get the information out of her, so Scott could go and hopefully stop Boyd from accepting the bite.

Alyssa gave Stiles a look, "Since when did I tell you anything about what Derek is up to?" She asked him sarcastically.

"Oh, come on." Stiles practically begged her, "Give us something." He knew that Scott was currently headed to find Boyd, so he also needed to distract Alyssa.

Alyssa grunted in annoyance, knowing that she wasn't going to catch a break, "I'm not saying anything. I've already told Scott this." She told Stiles, thinking back to how many times she has had to explain to Scott that she wasn't going to tell him anything. She thought that Stiles would know she wouldn't tell him anything either.

Stiles' phone going off interrupted the two's conversation, and the boy tried to hide the text from Alyssa when he pulled out his phone, but the werewolf was too quick for him. As she snatched the phone from his hands with a swift movement, he tried his hardest to get it back, but it was too late.. Alyssa had already read the text from Scott.
'You head to his house, I'll go to the ice rink. See you later.' The text read, and the Hale girl couldn't hold back the sigh as she read it.

"That's private." Stiles complained, acting like a spastic like he usually does, and took the phone back, not before going bright red at the fact that Alyssa had read the text message that was meant for him.
"Don't tell me you saw that." He mumbled, looking towards Alyssa in dread.

Alyssa rolled her eyes at him, "I saw it." She told him, patting him on the shoulder, "I'll see you later." She called out, as she rushed back out of the school grounds, ready to tell Derek what Scott was up to.
Even if she wasn't in the best mood with her brother, she was still going to help him out and stand by his side, no matter what..

"Damn it." Stiles muttered to himself, watching as the werewolf rushed off.
He didn't understand what Scott saw in her...

It didn't take long for Derek, Alyssa and Isaac to get to the ice rink when she had informed them of what she had found out. While Erica had been sent to stop Stiles, the other three headed to the ice rink, awaiting her arrival.
Alyssa was nervous, to say the least - she didn't know what Derek was going to do to Scott. She was hoping that he wouldn't too something too drastic, but knowing how the two boys were, that wish was probably going unheard.

Scott and Derek are too much alike, as much as the two of them hated to admit it.. It's why they clashed, and Alyssa could see it, unlike them.
They were both in denial, so instead of working together, they work against each other, and it's going to end badly, Alyssa could sense it.

The second that Erica arrived, Alyssa's heart began to raise, and she was sure that the others could hear it, however, they didn't comment on it, not wanting to make a noise and ruin their cover.
"If you're looking for friends, you can do a lot better than Derek." The four of them heard Scott tell Boyd, as they finally entered the ice rink.

"That really hurts, Scott." Derek spoke first, sarcasm laced in his voice. "I mean, if you're going to review me, at least take a consensus."
When Scott looked over at Alyssa, she avoided his eyeline, not wanting to see the betrayal in his eyes. It was obvious that Stiles had told him about her reading the text, so it was pretty obvious it was her fault they were now here.
The look that Scott gave his sister only fuelled Derek's anger more, but tried to hide it, "Erica." He spoke up, "How's life been for you since we met?"

"Hmm." Erica hummed, as Scott didn't take his eyes off of Alyssa, who was still avoiding him, "In a word.. Transformative." She eventually answered, before growling.

"Isaac?" Derek asked, smirking.

"Well, I'm a little bummed about being a fugitive, but other than that, I'm great." Isaac then answered, any part of his real personality that Alyssa had been seeing, disappearing.

"Okay, hold on." Scott spoke, finally taking his eyes off of the girl and realising that it was four against one. "This isn't exactly a fair fight."

"Then go home, Scott." Alyssa pretty much begged, not wanting Derek to go up against him.
Scott had a big head when it came to Derek, and she didn't want him getting hurt because of it..

She breathed in hard when Isaac and Erica began walking towards him, but when he crouched down on the floor, allowing his claws to come up and himself to shift into his werewolf form, Alyssa furrowed her brows in confusion.
"I meant fair for them." He told Derek and Alyssa, now gully transformed.

When the three of them got into their fight, Alyssa was watching with a cringe on her face as she watched how badly Isaac and Erica were doing. Even though they hadn't had that much training, they should be a lot better. It just proved to her that Scott was one of the best turned beta she had ever seen. He was amazing.
After his rant about how Derek didn't care about them, he threw the two new beta's towards Derek and Alyssa, causing them to look down at their feet. Alyssa couldn't believe that they had been taken out when they had the two of them against one omega.

As soon as Derek began to walk forwards, Alyssa reached out her hand and tried to stop him, only for him to shrug her off of him, not caring what she thought about Scott in this moment. Scott was messing with his plans, and he had to pay. Alyssa could even see the slight fear in Scott's face when he approached him, and that made her even more nervous for what was about to come.
Scott didn't know that alpha attacks take longer for you to heal, and she knew that he wasn't going to care - if it meant doing the right thing, then he would get himself hurt a million times..
It only fuelled Derek's fun more, when Scott fought back, well, which then caused him to basically beat the life out of the boy, until Alyssa finally stepped in, having enough.

"Derek, he's had enough!" She yelled, stepping forwards in order to step in, but Derek didn't seem to care, as he punched Scott even more, before slamming him into the ground and choking him out.
"Derek stop it!" Alyssa begged, now running up to her brother in order to get him off, "You're gonna kill him! Stop!" She screeched.

Only when Alyssa grabbed Derek, did he raise his leg and allow Scott to breathe once more, before ignoring Alyssa once more, and walking past her back towards his pack.
She looked back at him, trying to hold the tears at bay at what she had just witnessed. She didn't even know who her brother was anymore.

"Alyssa, it's okay.." Scott whispered, grabbing her hand as she was looking back at Derek.
When she looked down at him, she felt awful for what her brother had done, and she felt as if it was her fault. "I'm okay." He reassured her.

She nodded, stifling a sob, "I'm sorry." She told him, before rushing off towards her brother and her pack, leaving behind the boy she liked..
