WHILE SCOTT WAS with Allison, trying to figure out a way to snatch her necklace from her, or borrow it; Alyssa had reluctantly followed Stiles to his house, so they could track the text that was sent to Allison on the night that they got trapped in the school by the alpha. Stiles seemed a little timid at the fact Alyssa was in his house, but she didn't care, without asking for directions, she walked straight for his room, only to find Derek, already in there, standing by the side of his bedroom door.

She raised an eyebrow at him but didn't ask, instead, sitting down on Stiles' bed, taking some comics to flip through. The last thing she wanted to do, was be in Stiles' room with Derek, but there was no way she would be third-wheeling with Scott and Allison.
As Stiles walked in, he didn't notice Derek; he really was clueless.

"Hey, Stiles!" Mr, Stilinski called from the hallway, just as Stiles had sat down at his desk.

Stiles turned around in his chair to answer his dad, "Yo, D... Derek." He stuttered, wide eyed, once he saw Derek standing in his room.

Derek silently shushed Stiles and pointed towards the door, to which he rushed towards and stood in the way, so that his Dad couldn't see Derek.
"What'd you say?" Sheriff Stilinski asked, confused by his son's ramblings.

Stiles shook his head, "What? I said 'Yo - d - dad.'" He told him, leaning against the door.

This was when the Sheriff noticed Alyssa on Stiles bed, to which Alyssa waved at him, "Hi Mr. Stilinski." She greeted, giving him a bright smile.
He hadn't spoken to her since the night at the school, he was hoping she was doing okay, considering the situation with her brother.

He looked at Alyssa in disbelief, then to Stiles, who quickly shook his head at the thought of him and Alyssa being a thing, "Homework." He eventually told him, while Alyssa put her attention back to the comic in her hands.

The Sheriff nodded, but didn't believe Stiles for one second, but carried on anyway. Meanwhile, Alyssa sat on his bed, and started playing with her hair, something she did when she was bored.
When Stiles was done talking to his Dad, he came back into his room; only for Derek to push him against the door and hold him up by his shirt.

"If you say one word..." Derek began to threaten, only to get cut off by Stiles.

"Oh, what, you mean, like, 'Hey, Dad, Derek Hale's in my room... Bring your gun?' Yeah, that's right. If I'm harbouring your fugitive ass, it's my house, my rules, buddy." Stiles told him, patting his shoulder in the process, causing Alyssa to snort quietly at the funny sight.
Seeing Stiles think that he was scaring Derek, was hilarious to her.

Derek stared him down, before nodding slightly, he then straightened out Stiles' jacket, which caused Stiles to grow some confidence, and do the same to Derek, only when he walked away, Derek moves forward in a threatening way, to scare Stiles, to which he jumps at.
Alyssa laughed as Stiles went back over towards his desk to sit down, giving Alyssa a slight glare in the process.

"Scott didn't get the necklace?" Derek asked the two teenagers.

"Nope." Alyssa said, emphasising the 'p', "Instead he scared her off." She added.

Derek looked at her confusingly, as Stiles carried on, "There's something else we can try." He told Derek, "The night we were trapped at the school, Scott sent a text to Allison asking her to meet him there."

Derek raised an eyebrow at him, "So?" He asked, not understanding what Stiles was saying.

"It obviously wasn't Scott." Alyssa told him, looking at him like he was stupid. Why would Scott invite Allison to the one place he was sure the alpha is?

"Well, can you two find out who sent it?" He asked them.

"No, not us. But I think I know somebody who can." Stiles told Derek.

"You want me to do what?" Danny asked in disbelief, after Stiles had explained at what he wants him to do.
Stiles had eventually invited Danny round to do homework, but the second he walked into the room, Stiles invaded him with demands.

"Trace a text." Stiles repeated.

"I came here to deal with lab work. That's what lab partners do." Danny told Stiles, completely disregarding what he had been asked to do.

"And we will." Stiles said, "Once you trace the text."

"And what makes you think I know how?" Danny asked Stiles, sceptically.

Alyssa did wonder that herself, why was Stiles assuming that Danny knew how to do any of that?
"I... I looked up your arrest report, so..." Stiles said, scratching the back of his neck, awkwardly.

Well, that explains it. Alyssa thought.

"I was thirteen. They dropped the charges." Danny defended himself, giving Stiles a look as he spoke.

"Whatever." Stiles muttered.

"No, we're doing lab work." Danny told Stiles.

It had been a few minutes since Danny had started doing their lab work, and Alyssa was surprised that Danny hadn't commented on the fact that Derek was in the room, yet; maybe he just didn't see him.
Derek was sitting in the corner, reading a book, while Alyssa was lying on Stiles bed, still reading one of his comics.

"Who's he again?" Danny asked, looking over at Derek, finally mentioning the large man in the room.

"Um. My cousin..." Stiles said, trailing off, "Miguel."

Both Alyssa and Derek looked up at Stiles and sent a glare his way. Was that the best he could come up with?
"Is that blood on his shirt?" Danny asked again, pointing towards Derek's shirt.

Alyssa quickly looked over at Derek and noticed he did indeed, have a small blood stain on his shirt. She raised her eyebrow at him, causing him to give her a look, telling her not to ask.
"Well, he gets these horrible nosebleeds." Stiles told him, then turned around fully to face Derek, "Hey, Miguel. I thought I told you, you could borrow one of my shirts."
This caused 'Miguel' to huff and close the book he was reading, to get up, take his shirt off, and rummage through Stiles' draws, "So anyway, I mean, we both know you have the skills to trace the text, so we should probably..." Stiles spoke to Danny, only to get interrupted by Derek.

"Uh, Stiles." He spoke.

"Yes?" He answered, not looking up at him.

"This," He said, holding up the shirt, "No fit."

Stiles rolled his eyes at the man, "Then, try something else on." He told Derek, then turned to Danny and apologised for 'Miguel's' behaviour.
Alyssa noticed that Danny kept glancing at Derek, and Stiles had also noticed that and decided to use it to his advantage, "Hey, that one looks pretty good, huh? What do you think, Danny? The shirt."

Danny blushed and looked at Derek nervously, "It's... It's not really his colour." He said.

Alyssa could help but agree with him, the shirt that Derek was wearing was hideous, it was an ugly orange and blue striped shirt.
She sighed and put the comic down onto the bed, to get up and find a shirt for Derek herself, watching him go through Stiles' draws was painful.

"You swing for a different team, but you still play ball, don't you, Danny boy?" Stiles asked, smirking at the boy.

"You're a horrible person." Danny muttered, shaking his head.

"I know. It keeps me awake at night." Stiles admitted, nodding his head.

"Stiles, you really need to get a new wardrobe." Alyssa told Stiles, still looking through his clothes so Derek could wear one; none of them looked remotely close to fitting him, and a lot of these clothes were very ugly. She would have to take him clothes shopping once they've defeated the alpha.

"Stiles!" Derek complained, "None of these fit!"

This was when Stiles looked to Danny, who finally snapped, "I'll need the ISP, the phone number, and the exact time of the text." Danny told Stiles, moving towards the computer.

Stiles raised his hands in victory as Danny traced the text, and when he finally completed the trace, it was traced to Melissa McCall, Scott's mom.

They were now sat outside of the care home, which is where the text traced to. Derek sat in the passenger seat, while Alyssa sat in the backseat and Stiles sat in the drivers seat, on the phone to Scott.
Scott had gotten the necklace from Allison, which looked like the drawing Derek had, however, there was nothing else on the necklace that could help them out, meaning that they were at a dead end.

Scott had ultimately told Stiles that the boy wasn't going to make it to his game, which was his first game, and his dad was going.
Alyssa felt slightly bad for Stiles, he was getting dragged into some business that had nothing to do with him.

Before the phone call end, Scott he asked how Alyssa was, to which she shouted that she was fine. This confused Derek to no end - why were the two becoming so friendly?
Alyssa didn't think much of it, he was just checking up on her and Stiles, what was so bad about that?

"You know you're not gonna make it to the game." Alyssa told Stiles with sympathy after Scott had hung up. She knew how excited Stiles had been to be playing.

"I know." Stiles sighed.

"And you didn't tell him about his mom, either." Derek added onto Alyssa's statement.

"Not 'till we find out the truth." He told the Hale siblings - he wasn't about to tell Scott that his mom might be apart of the alphas plan; that was stupid.

"By the way, one more thing." Derek said, gaining Stiles' attention.

"Yeah?" Stiles asked, this was when Derek slammed Stiles' head onto the steering wheel, causing Alyssa to stifle a laugh, that must have been for earlier.
"Oh, god!" He complained, holding his forehead in pain, "What the hell was..."

"You know what that was for. Go." Derek told him, when he didn't move, he repeated, "Go!"

Stiles then got out of the car, followed by Alyssa, who walked beside him, into the care home.
Derek would have gone with, but he was still known to be a criminal, so he couldn't show his face anywhere; that left Stiles and Alyssa to follow with the mission.

She was still laughing quietly when Stiles turned to slightly glare at her, "Does my pain amuse you?" He asked sarcastically.

Alyssa held her hands up in surrender, "Hey, you of all people should know not to annoy Derek." She told him, as her lips pulled up into a slight smile, causing him to roll his eyes - sometimes he didn't like this girl.

It was too quiet as they walked into the building, there was no one around and it looked completely deserted. Peter's nurse, Jennifer, was also gone, which was weird as they were always here. What had happened?

Alyssa told Stiles to go and check on Peter while she rang Derek.
"Jennifer's not here, it's like destroyed in here, looks like a horror movie scene." She told him as he picked up immediately upon the ring.

"What do you mean, she's not there?" Derek asked in confusion.

"I mean, she's gone. This place is completely deserted." Alyssa told him, when Stiles came back to her side from Peter's room.

"Peter's gone, too." Stiles told her.

Her eyes widened in realisation, as she heard Derek's voice on the other end, "Get out of there right now... It's him! He's the Alpha! Get out!" He shouted.

Alyssa grabbed Stiles' arm, about to run, however, when they turned around, Peter was standing there, smirking at the two teenagers.
"You must be Stiles." He said, looking at Stiles, then looked to Alyssa, his face softening a bit, "Hello, Liss." He greeted, using her childhood name.

Alyssa barely recognised him, he looked evil. He wasn't the loving and caring uncle that she once remembered. He wasn't the fun uncle that let her ride his shoulders when she was little, or took her to the park with Cora.

Alyssa pushed Stiles behind her, shielding him, as they began to walk backwards, only to get stopped by Jennifer, Peter's nurse, by blocking their exit, "What are you doing here? Visiting hours are over." She told them.

Stiles looked flushed, "You... And him. You're... You're the one who... Oh, my... And he's - Oh, my God, we're gonna die." He stuttered.

Alyssa didn't know what to do in this situation, she didn't want to fight her uncle, that was the last thing she wanted - even after everything he's done.. He's still family. This was when Derek had appeared, and elbowed Jennifer in the face.
"That's not nice. She's my nurse." Peter commented, with little, to no emotion.

"She's a psychotic bitch helping you kill people." Derek growled, before he turned to Stiles, "Get out of the way."

"Oh, damn." Stiles muttered, before Alyssa pushed him down, allowing him to get well out of reach.

"You think I killed Laura on purpose? One of my own family?" Peter said, this was when Derek shifted into his wolf and attacked, in result getting shoved into the wall.
Alyssa was quick to come to Derek's aid, only to get held by the throat and shoved onto the floor, making a dent as her head slammed into it. It pained Peter to fight his family, but he had to show them.
He then picked the Derek up by his throat, while Alyssa laid on the floor in pain, partly blacked out, Stiles watched in shock, having never seen Alyssa this way; he wanted to help her, but he knew that he would just cause more trouble, "My mind, my personality were literally burned out of me. I was being driven by pure instinct."

He then dropped Derek onto the floor and searched his nurses body for some keys, "You want forgiveness?" Derek snarled, before punching him in the face.
Before he could send another punch, Peter head butted Derek, sending him staggering backwards.

Alyssa finally came to Derek's aid again, slowly getting up and heading towards him, only to get tossed back into the wall behind them, followed by Derek, who landed on the floor a few feet in front of her.
He looked up at her with a worried expression, not knowing if she was okay or not - he knew that she wasn't used to being thrown around like this, and he hated seeing her in pain. But Peter was too strong for him.

"I want understanding. Do you have any idea... What it was like for me during those years? Slowly healing, cell by cell. Even more slowly coming back to consciousness. Yes, becoming an Alpha, taking that from Laura pushed me over a plateau in the healing process. I can't help that." Peter explained, walking towards them, Alyssa was still on the floor in pain, as Derek got up and began throwing punches, only for Peter to dodge each one. "I tried to tell you what was happening. I tried to warn you."

He then threw Derek into the glass behind him, causing him to crawl towards Alyssa and slouch next to her against the wall.
She was speechless at the man that Peter had become, she had known him to be sweet and caring. Derek wasn't close to Peter, but Alyssa was, she was probably the closest to him out of everyone in her family.

"I was going to wait, for dramatic flair." He said, when his face had started to heal, making the burn that was previously there, disappear, "But... When you look this good, why wait? Derek, Alyssa, you have to give me a chance to explain. After all, we're family." He told them.

Derek and Alyssa exchanged a look, what else could they do?
