'pack mentality'

ALYSSA WAS AT home after a long day at school, talking to her brother about the situation with the school bus, and Scott. She was explaining to him that Scott had no memory of the night before, and had thought that he attacked Allison due to the dream he had the night before.
Scott hadn't even remembered being at the bus, or seeing Alyssa and Derek, who were trying to protect Meyers from being killed by the alpha.
"And you didn't tell him, that he didn't actually do it?" Derek asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
Alyssa shrugged, "I'm still mad at him and Stiles for getting you arrested. Until I get a proper apology from them, they are getting nothing from me." She complained, folding her arms over her chest and leaning back into the sofa.
Derek and Alyssa's conversation was cut short when they both heard something from the front lawn, this caused them to rush to the upstairs window to see who it was.
It was a police officer that had arrived in the front of the house in his cruiser.
The officer looked like this was the last place that he wanted to be as he looked completely terrified. He was talking into his radio as he began walking towards the house, slowly.
Derek and Alyssa were observing from the window.
Derek had thought quickly and decided to show the dog; who was sitting in the passenger seat, his blue eyes. They glowed a bright blue colour, causing the dog to bark even louder and freak out.
The cop then freaked out himself, and got back into the car, driving off quickly.
"Nice job." Alyssa commented, then she saw Scott arriving at the house, "Great." She muttered, rolling her eyes.
"I know you can both hear me. I need your help." He admitted as he got to the porch.
Alyssa stood by the doorway behind Derek as he walked up to meet Scott. She agreed to watch out for him, not help him. She was still angry at the fact that him and Stiles had gotten Derek arrested the other day.
"Okay..." Scott started, "I know I was a part of getting you arrested and that we basically announced you two being here to the hunters, I also don't know what happened to your sister. But I think I did something last night." He admitted, "I had a dream about... Someone. But someone else got hurt. And it turns out that a part of the dream might have actually happened." He finished explaining.
"You think you attacked the driver?" Derek asked him.
"Did you see what I did last night?" Scott asked the two.
Alyssa shook her head, while Derek replied, "No."
Scott sighed, while shifting on his feet, "Can you at least tell me the truth?" He asked Derek and Alyssa, "Am I gonna hurt someone?" He asked.
"Yes." Derek admitted, with no emotion.
"Could I kill someone?" Scott asked another question.
"Yes." Derek said, still no emotion.
All the while, Alyssa was still standing at the door, watching the two talk.
"Am I gonna kill someone?" Scott asked, looking at Alyssa, hoping to get more of an answer than 'yes'.
"Probably." She replied, not giving him much of an answer either. This was Derek's idea to help him, all she had to do was make sure that he actually didn't kill anyone.
"Look, I can show you how to remember. I can show you how to control the shift, even on a full moon." Derek told Scott, making his face light up. "But it's not gonna come for free." He carries on.
Scott's face fell, "What do you want?" He asked, sceptically.
"You'll find out. But for now, I'm gonna give you what you want." Derek told him, "Go back to the bus. Go inside. See it, feel it. Let your senses... Your sight, smell, touch... Let them remember for you." He finished.
Scott furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, "That's it? Just... Just go back?" He asked him in disbelief.
"Do you want to know what happened?" Derek asked him.
Scott nodded, "I just want to know if I hurt him." He said, sadly.
Alyssa shook her head at his statement, "No, you don't. You want to know if you'll hurt her." She told him, meaning Allison.

Alyssa was sitting on her laptop, on Skype to Allison and Lydia, helping them pick out their outfits. She would have gone round to help, but there was no way that she was ever going to go round the Argent house; she didn't have a death wish.
Allison held up a top so both Lydia and Alyssa could see, "Pass." Alyssa and Lydia said in sync, she kept holding up new shirts, only for Lydia and Alyssa to keep saying "Pass."
Lydia then took it upon herself to pull out an outfit from her closet, "This!" She exclaimed.
"That's the one." Alyssa confirmed.
"Dad... Hello." Allison said in confusion, this made Alyssa furrow her eyebrows in confusion.
"Right, I'm sorry. I forgot to knock." Argent apologised.
The second she heard his voice, she hung up, not wanting him to see her in the house; that would maybe cause him to come and kill her.
When she hung up she put her laptop away and went downstairs to meet Derek and get ready to leave.
They were visiting Meyers in the hospital, to see if he knew anything on why the alpha attacked him.

Derek and Alyssa had stopped at the gas station, so that Derek could fill up the gas in his car; when Argent, and a couple of other hunters had pulled up and gotten out of their cars, walking towards them threateningly.
Derek pulled Alyssa behind him, to ensure that she wouldn't get hurt and she wouldn't try anything stupid, as they were outnumbered.
"Nice ride." Argent said, walking up to them and observing the car, "Black cars though... Very hard to keep clean, I would definitely suggest a little more maintenance." He suggested, grabbing the windshield wiper and began to clean the windshield. "When you have something that nice, you want to take care of it, right? Personally, I'm very protective of the things I love." He told them, looking towards Alyssa, "That's something I've learned from my family. You both don't have much of that, these days... Do you?"
Derek clenched his fists in anger, but kept calm, and Alyssa straight up glared at the man. Argent seemed satisfied with their reactions as he was done cleaning the car.
"There we go. You can actually look through your windshield now. See how it makes everything so much clearer." Argent told Derek.
Argent and the other hunters then turned to leave until Derek spoke, causing Alyssa to roll her eyes, "You forgot to check the oil." He said.
Argent turned to one of the hunters, "Check the man's oil." He ordered.
The hunter then made his way to the other side of the car, and smashed the window with his weapon, causing it to shatter everywhere.
Alyssa let out a small growl at the man; they call them monsters, yet they are no better themselves.
"Looks good to me." The hunter said, before sending a glare to Alyssa and Derek.
They then drove off, leaving them alone in the car park with Derek's smashed car, "Nice one." She told him, getting into the car, clearly annoyed at him.
He rolled his eyes but didn't reply, as they drove to the hospital.
The last thing that they needed, was to anger the hunters, it will make it harder for her and Derek to stop the alpha.
The hunters may be good, but they won't be able to kill the alpha, it seems too smart, so only Alyssa and Derek could do it.
They were now at the hospital room, looking at the injured, sleeping man in bed. Derek leaned over his body and told him to open his eyes.
When he did, Derek asked him what he remembered.
"Hales..." The man said, looking at the Hale siblings with recognition.
Alyssa frowned in confusion at the man's words, "How do you know our names?" She asked him quietly.
"I'm sorry..." He told them, dozing off again.
"How do you know us?" Derek asked him, more aggressively this time.
"I'm sorry..." The man muttered again, this is when he closed his eyes; when his heart finally gave out, causing the machine to flatline.
Alyssa looked at the man with a sad expression, before rushing out of the hospital with Derek, so no one would see them.

Alyssa and Derek were now back at their house, they didn't have anything to go on. The alpha was killing people and neither of them knew why, as it's a selection of people.
Trying to figure out a pattern was like a puzzle.
They were both thinking in silence, when their front door suddenly burst open. "Derek! I know you're here! I know what you did!" Scott yelled.
Alyssa sighed, he must have remembered last night, on the bus. What she didn't understand, is why he was only blaming Derek. Maybe because Alyssa wasn't in direct sight of Scott, he probably didn't see her.
So now Scott thinks that Derek was the one who attacked the bus driver, and not the alpha.
Alyssa stayed back while Derek spoke, "I didn't do anything." He told Scott.
"You killed him!" Scott exclaimed as he was walking up the stairs.
"He died..." Derek replied.
Alyssa knew that Derek would want to handle this, so she stayed back to let him confront Scott.
"Like your sister died?" Scott retorted. This caused Alyssa to growl under her breath.
"Our sister was missing. We came here to find her." Derek explained to Scott.
"You found her." Scott retorted.
"We found her in pieces! Being used as bait to catch us!" Derek shouted back at Scott.
"I think you killed them both. I'm gonna tell everyone, starting with the sheriff." Scott told him, Alyssa rolled her eyes, this boys idiocy amazed her. If only he would look at the bigger picture, he would see that Derek wasn't the one who killed the bus driver, or their sister.
As Scott arrived on the top floor, where Alyssa was stood, Derek appeared behind him and threw him down the stairs.
This caused Scott to shift into his wolf form and prepare himself for a fight, as Derek jumped down the stairs to attack him once more.
Scott was so angry, he grabbed Derek and threw him through the wall, making in crumple into pieces.
Derek stood up and cracked his neck, taking his jacket off in the process. "That was cute..." he said as he shifted, showing his bright blue eyes.
They then began to fight as Alyssa watched from the top of the stairs. Derek had smashed Scott into the wall a couple of times before throwing him over the table.
Scott fell down, causing Derek to jump into him, only Scott rolled away and swiped his claws at Derek's face.
When he tried to swipe again, Derek had blocked each shot that Scott took. He then punched Scott in the face, then the stomach, causing Scott to fall down.
Derek slid across the table and and kicked Scott, only for him to get up once again. Alyssa has to give it to him, he didn't back down from a fight, he had balls.
Scott picks up a oar, and swung it at Derek, causing him to fall down. When Scott went over to hit him again, Derek rolled out of the way. He swiped at Scott's foot, causing him to fall down. This is when Derek grabbed his throat, picked him up and smashed him onto the floor over and over again.
Alyssa sighed and moved towards the two boys, this was getting ridiculous. She stood in between the two as Scott got up. "Enough!" She shouted.
They both shifted back into their human forms.
"I didn't kill him. Neither of us did. It's not your fault and it's not mine." Derek told Scott.
"This? This is all of your fault! You ruined my life!" Scott shouted in anger.
"No, I didn't!" Derek shouted back.
"You're the one who bit me!" Scott told him.
Alyssa was quick to interject, "No, he didn't!" She told him with a harsh tone.
"What?" Scott asked her, confused.
"He wasn't the one who bit you, you idiot." She told him, more calmly then before.
Scott's face showed realisation as he sat down, "There's another." He stated.
Finally. Alyssa thought. Took him long enough to find out that him, her and Derek weren't the only werewolves in town.
"It's called an alpha. It's the most dangerous of our kind. You, me, and Alyssa, were all betas... This thing, is more powerful. More animal then any of us. Our sister came here looking for it, and now, we're trying to find it. But I don't think we can do it without you." Derek explained to Scott.
Scott looked confused, "Why me?" He asked the Hale siblings.
"Because he is the one that bit you. You're apart of his pack." Alyssa told him, "It's you Scott..."
"You're the one he wants." Derek finished.
