'shape shifted'

ALYSSA HAD BEEN avoiding being Derek's little slave since he became the new alpha. That is, until Derek practically started ordering her around when he had bitten Isaac.
"You're kidding me, right?" Alyssa asked, looking at Derek in disbelief; she hated how he had been treating her like a pack member and not a sister, and all he had been doing lately, was order her around.
Once again, she had been ordered to follow Isaac around the school tomorrow in case he were to do anything stupid - practically the same thing he ordered her to do with Scott, which she hated doing.

"No." He simply replied, not even bothering to look back at his sister, who seemed to be complaining a lot lately.
She couldn't help but scoff at him, hating how she was practically his servant, he didn't care much for her anymore, and power was getting to his head. She hated it.

"I don't want to do that again." She told him, "It was bad enough with Scott and his stupid friends, now you want me to follow Isaac around, too?"
She didn't want anything to do with Scott and Stiles any longer, especially if Scott decided to put himself, Alyssa and her brother in danger, by dating Allison.
Alyssa didn't know why it bothered her so much that the two were still dating, but she pushed it to the back of her mind, telling herself that it was because she didn't want the hunters coming after her and her brother..

Derek was about to reply, when a loud bang interrupted the siblings, and Derek's name was shouted.
"Derek!" They heard, and Alyssa instantly recognised it as Isaac's frantic voice. She had never heard him so scared, not even before he was bitten. "Derek!" He shouted again, just as the Hale siblings walked forwards to meet him.

"What's wrong?" Derek asked calmly, confusing Alyssa at how he wasn't the slightest bit worried at why Isaac was so scared.
She shook her head at her brother, before walking forwards and placing her hand on her new friends shoulder.

"My dad." Isaac panted, allowing Alyssa to comfort him. "I think he's dead." He revealed.
Alyssa's eyes widened at the information - she knew that his dad was an awful man, but she never expected Isaac to kill him; she and Derek really thought that he would be okay without them for one night, but they obviously thought wrong.

Knowing Derek would be pissed at this, she slight edged in front of Isaac, in case her brother was to loose his temper. As she looked over at him, all she could see was his piercing red eyes shining through the darkness, and she couldn't help but shiver at the sight.
"What did you do?" He asked, finally stepping out of the darkness, allowing his human eyes to come back to show.

"That's the thing." Isaac began, "It wasn't me."

Alyssa wanted anything else but to be in school the next day, especially when Isaac came back the night before, panicking about how he didn't kill his father, but something else did.
She had tried to convince Derek to let them both take the day off of school so they could start searching for whatever murdered the man, but he claimed that if Isaac took the day off school, it would make him look more suspicious, and Alyssa couldn't help but agree.

It was awful timing that his dad was murdered, as Isaac had just been bitten and he was already an interest to the cops - for now, they just had to act normal in hopes that they wouldn't suspect Isaac at all.
"Right.." Alyssa began, stopping Isaac just before they entered the school, "You need to act normal, okay? That's the only thing that matters right now, you can't be a suspect to the cops, because tonight's the full moon, and we need to with us." She explained, as he listened intently to what she was saying.

"Act normal. Got it." Isaac replied, smirking at her.
She replied by rolling her eyes at him, just as he draped his arm over her shoulders, feeling a new confidence hit him due to the bite - he wouldn't dream of doing this as a human, especially with the Alyssa Hale, a girl that almost every guy in their year fancied.

Alyssa was going to shove his arm off of her, but as they walked into the school, gaining Scott and Stiles' attention, she refrained herself from doing so.
She knew that Derek wanted Scott in their pack, so making Scott jealous was something that she thought would work. Scott needed to know that being an omega wasn't something that people survived - he might be safe for now, but the second something bad was to happen, he would be screwed without hers and Derek's help.

She also knew that he wasn't going to be happy about Derek biting teenagers and turning them into werewolves, but he didn't understand that Derek wouldn't do anything unless they said yes. If he didn't get that answer, then he wouldn't dare bite someone who didn't want it.

Scott, from across the hallway, stopped what he was saying to Stiles and looked over at Alyssa and a guy he knew as Isaac Lahey, who had his arm linked around the redhead.
He didn't even know the two knew each other, as well as actually talking to each other and acting this friendly. Scott stopped talking immediately and froze by the door of the changing rooms, ignoring whatever Stiles was telling him.

Stiles noticed this, and followed Scott's eye-line towards Alyssa and Isaac, also furrowing his brows in confusion at how the two know each other.
Looking back towards Scott, he noticed the look on his face.. The look that he often gave Lydia, so, with a sigh, he grabbed his best friends shoulders and guided him back into the changing rooms.

He thought that whatever was going on between Alyssa and Scott, they needed to get over whatever was in the way of them admitting they had some feelings for each other, and get on with it.
He was getting fed up of their jealous gazed across the hallway..

Alyssa wanted to do anything else but to sit in the bleachers during lacrosse tryouts, just like she had to do with Scott when he was first bit - in reality, she hated lacrosse.
The only reason she was here, was to keep an eye on Isaac, and she didn't even know why he was joining in the game, because it would be harder for him to control his anger while playing the game, but.. With Scott on the field, Alyssa was confident that nothing would happen to him.

She listened intently as Scott and Stiles spoke about what Scott had smelt in the changing rooms, as creepy as that sounds..
They didn't exactly know who it was yet, and that left Alyssa at an advantage, she just hoped he wouldn't find out about Isaac straight away, because that meant she would have to listen to him complain about how she and Derek shouldn't go around biting people.

As time went on, Alyssa couldn't help but watch the game in absolute cringe, watching as Scott tackled a bunch of other players to the ground, and sniffing them.
Everyone could see what he was doing, and it was insanely weird that he was even thinking about sniffing people. Of course, Alyssa knew why he was doing so, but the other students didn't have a clue at why he was acting so strange.
She could even see Stiles cringing at what his best friend was doing..

However, Alyssa couldn't help but laugh when he did the same thing to Danny, sending him flying to the floor. It was his reaction that made her laugh.
"It's Armani." He told Scott, as the werewolf practically lied on top of him.

"Huh?" Scott asked, not knowing what Danny was talking about.

"My aftershave. Armani." Danny spoke again, looking at Scott with a weird look.
Alyssa shook her head as she watched Scott climb off of Danny, but her smile changed into a frown, when she saw that Isaac was next in line.

She watched as he breathed in and out heavily, clearly trying to keep his anger under control, and Stiles seemed to see the same thing, as he looked at the back of Isaac's head in worry and shock that it was him who was a werewolf.
It now made sense to Scott and Stiles as to why Alyssa and Isaac were hanging out and acting so close this morning, and it was because Derek bit him.

The second the whistle blew, Alyssa held her breath, as she watched the two charge at each other, and she could their eyes glowing from where she sat at the bleachers.
"Ah shit." Was the sound that Alyssa cursed as soon as she saw the police walking forwards in the background, towards the coach - clearly having found Isaac's dad.

She looked back over at Isaac, to find him already looking at her with a panicked expression, until he looked back at Scott pleadingly, "Don't tell them." He asked Scott.
"Please don't tell them." He repeated, as the cops began to get closer - Alyssa could practically hear his heartbeat from where she was sitting.

"Don't day anything, Isaac." She spoke lowly, so he could hear her - she was sure that Scott was listening, too.
"Me and Derek'll get you out. Just wait for us." She told him.
Instantly, she got up and began to walk away from the field, just as the cops asked to talk to Isaac - before she left, she exchanged a longing glance at Scott, who also seemed to be looking at her, before she rushed off to ring Derek and inform him of what happened..

Isaac had been in the principles office talking about his father for the rest of the day, and Alyssa couldn't stop thinking about him during her lessons.
Derek had told her that he was picking her and Scott up after school, and she didn't want to be near Scott, but they needed all of the help they could get right now, if they wanted to get Isaac out of the before the full moon.

She was rushing through the hallway, after hearing that Isaac was being taken to the station, and without looking where she was jogging, she bashed into the wall.. But, it wasn't a wall, but Scott.
She grunted as she hit the floor, and Scott also fell in front of her, both forgetting about their strength as they ran forwards.

The second Scott saw who he ran into, he sighed, "Sorry." He instantly apologised, holding out his hand to help Alyssa up, which she didn't take, instead, pulling herself up.
When she straight up ignored him and headed towards the exit of the school, he huffed in annoyance, "You're the reason Isaac is in jail, and you're annoyed at me?" He asked in disbelief.

Alyssa stopped in her footsteps and turned around to glare at Scott, "He's not in jail because of me and Derek, if you actually kept in contact with my brother, you would know what's going on. But instead, you spend your time with Allison." She accused, pointing her finger at him accusingly.
She didn't like how he was accusing her and Derek of the reason as to why Isaac was being taken down to the station, as that was the last reason as to why this was all happening. Something much bigger is happening..

Scott seemed surprised at her outburst, but ignored the dig about him hanging out with Allison, not wanting to anger her any more than he already had.
"Why did you choose him?" He asked.
Alyssa noticed that there was slight hurt in his voice, but had no idea as to why, as he was the one who didn't want to join the pack in the first place.

"I'm going to let Derek explain that to you. Come on." She said, about to walk away, only, when she did, Scott took ahold of her arm and stopped her from going forward anymore.
"What?" She asked, not noticing how close the two were stood together.

"You know I didn't join the pack because of Derek, not you." He told her, unsure if she actually knew the reason to him wanting to be on his own.
Scott didn't agree with what Derek was doing.. That, and he just didn't want to be a werewolf in the first place; he wasn't born into it like Alyssa.

Alyssa looked up at him with a frown, she already knew that, but she didn't know why he had to tell her.
"I know that, Scott." She told him, as he nodded slightly, "But you need to understand that you need us, wether you want our help or not, you're going to need it one day, and if you carry on the way you're going with Allison, you might end up dead." She explained.
Gently taking his arm and bringing his hand off of her, she held it for a few seconds, "And that's the last thing I want, okay?" She told him, before finally dropping his hand.

For a few seconds, he stood there, stuck in his own head, staring at Alyssa, finally understanding where she was coming from.
That was, until she spoke once more, bringing him out of his daze. "Let's go. We 'gotta save Isaac." She said, leaving him behind in the hallway, until he jogged to catch up.

He couldn't help but sigh at his own thoughts - he was with Allison, he loved Allison.

But what if he didn't?
