A/N: Okay this story will be told mainly in Alicia's point of view and not anyone else's unless said otherwise within the story. I will also soon enough have a back story for Alicia involving her parents Leo and Kelsey. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the story!!

I woke up to the smell of breakfast being cooked in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. "Another one of the terrifying nightmares about mom...how I just love waking up in a panic every time.." I thought to myself as I went downstairs to find father there cooking breakfast. It started out as just another normal day with people bustling about outside, my father sharing his stories with coworkers at his job, and us bonding more and more each and every day making me the happiest person alive in my opinion. After talking with father for a while, I decided to call Hannah and Cleo to come and hang out once father was at work, gladly they agreed to. Soon enough father was all dressed up and ready for work and gave the usual kiss on the cheek goodbye and saying to behave myself while he was gone. "I love you!" I told him as he started walking out the door "I love you too, and one more thing sweety..", I flinched from the old nickname bringing back memories, "..whatever you do don't leave this house today okay? I've heard lots of different rumors going around and  I want you to stay safe." "Ok father we'll stay here, I promise"

After hanging out in the house with Hannah and Cleo for a while, what father asked me to do faded out of my thoughts and soon enough we were outside. "See I told you this was so better than being locked up in that house guys!" mocked Cleo. All three of us laughed at that remark, Hannah and I agreeing with her. "Hey guys why don't we just go and hang out in the woods, ya know like old times?", said Hannah with a somewhat serious look on her face, "Oh I don't know Hannah.." "Come on Alicia! It will be fun! It will be just like old times. Who knows Marco might be there waiting for us." "Waiting for you you mean." I replied in a teasing tone, knowing it would make her mad. "Shut up!!" I couldn't help but laugh at that soon getting a punch to the arm for it and being dragged into the woods to our old playhouse we all made hidden in the trees. "We haven't visit the playhouse for a really long time together..for all I know it could have fallen apart by now but I guess I'll find out soon enough" I thought to myself while pretending to be annoyed about going, but actually liking the idea of going just for old times sake...to get out of being so "hidden" from the rest of the world. The reason why I never understood but now I'm with people who accept me the way I am and it makes me feel happy..a type a happy I never felt with father. --------------
We got to the old playhouse soon enough and it happened to still be standing even after all these years of being abandoned or so I say to my friends. Used to I would try every night to come to this playhouse just to get out of being stuck inside a home with a overly concerned father. Still after the storm that hit not too long ago I'm surprised it still stands, especially after lightning going off in the forest close by and father not being home, which really worried me. Me, Hannah, and Cleo stayed here for the rest of the afternoon, actually ending up falling asleep in the playhouse...before we heard screaming outside. All of us jolted awake to the sound of the horrifying scream and without thinking I jumped out, trying to help whoever just screamed. My friends jumped out after me yelling for me to wait up or to slow down but I couldn't. Something was compelling me to go forward, to figure out what was happening to only discover the crazy scientists in the forest trying to take away this girl. Everyone knew if the crazy scientists were trying to get you, you didn't have a good fate. They may say they are trying to save humanity, but how? Where does humanity need saving? The only thing that needs saving is this girl and I plan on doing it. "Hey, psychos! Leave her alone!" I yelled. I caught there attention giving the girl her opportunity to girl brake free and run into the forest. Once she did I felt relieved that I had saved her but I now had the scientists coming after me. When coming after me though,the way they looked at me was different...they didn't look at me the same as they did her, they looked at me as if I was their next prize to add to their tortured collection that I did not approve of. "You made us lose our next subject, so were going to have to get a replacement..." just then they tried to attack and capture me and with a strength unknown to me, I fought them with the leader of the group watching in the distance closely. I kept fighting them until there was almost no strength left in my body when all of a sudden one lunged at me with a syringe. Once it hit my skin an anger formed inside me and a cloud of smoke surrounded me....they were so small and I was so tall and strong slinging them away like no tomorrow...until..slice and everything went to black.
