Kaisha's POV

I was back at the meeting point, squad 8 barracks. With me were, Shinji, Lisa, Hiyori, Kensei, Mashiro, Rukia and Izuru. We were all sighing with relief and celebrating.

"We shouldn't celebrate yet" Shinji told us. Why not? I'm sure the other people destroyed their bombs.

"How long until the bombs go off?" Rukia asked.

"29 seconds" Shinji replied. Wow. So precise. I count down in my head. Hopefully everyone did it. I twirled a strand of my blood red hair around my finger.

Bang! My eyes widened as did everyone else's. That could only mean one thing... a bomb went off. Oh no. Who was it? I desperately want to know. It could have been Rose, Love, Shuhei or Rangiku.

"Shinji?" Rukia asked and raised an eyebrow at him. Shinji looked back at her knowingly. What? Am I missing something? Wait... I think I am. I wasn't listening when Shinji told who was going where. I have a feeling that that is what Rukia was asking.

"Well, from where I can see, I think that it's at squad 9 barracks and the person that I put there was... Shuhei. Since he's pretty fast, I'm assuming he got there, but he might have died" he said. I gasp. Shuhei. No, it couldn't be. Everyone's faces fall and Izuru started crying a bit.

I've been in the Soul Society for a bit longer than a week now and I've met all the captains and lieutenants, even trained with some of them. One of them that I trained with was Shuhei and he was pretty strong. Why couldn't it be Rose or Love or Rangiku or Izuru or one of the visoreds that died? Actually, that's pretty selfish of me. But Shuhei is one of the hottest guys here, probably even the hottest.

But then again, we weren't sure if he was dead. We waited in dead silence. Finally, the others arrived.

"We saw a bomb go off. Any chance you guys know who it is?" Rangiku asked. Shinji filled them in on what we think happened. We're about to check on Ichigo and Yamamoto when someone approaches us.

"I'm sorry. I tried to save him" a sobbing Momo said. I was about to ask her what she meant but then I think I got it. Izuru hugged her and we tried to calm her down.

"I-I was fighting lots of hollow near the squad 9 barracks. I was really tired and sore. Then this hollow came and it was about to hit me when Shuhei came and blocked it. Shuhei killed the hollow but then 10 more surrounded us. I thought Shuhei just came to help me and I didn't realise that he had to disable the bomb - I didn't even know there was a bomb there" Momo took a breath before continuing.

"We fought the many hollows and eventually defeated them. Shuhei told me he had to disable a bomb so he went to the bomb and I followed him. We weren't really close to it and before we got to it, the number 5 popped up and it started counting down. Shuhei grabbed me and threw me away. I wanted to go back for him but I knew I wouldn't be much help. I saw him put up a kido barrier to protect as much of the Seireitei as he could, but the explosion killed him."

At the end of her little story, Momo started crying waterfalls. When she was telling us what happened, I thought she was brave, but now I change my mind. Hiyori hit her on the head.

"Stop crying. He saved your life and tried to protect the Seireitei. We have to remember him for what he did and not cry. Would he want you to cry?" Hiyori asked/shouted. Momo quickly shook her head. Izuru hugged Momo and comforted her. We all stayed still and silent for a while.

The sound of battles around us kept going on but then died down. Explosions were heard and seen. All the hollows should be dead by now, or hiding, but there were a lot of soul reapers killing them off.

"Someone's coming" Captain Unohana spoke up and everyone craned their necks around. Captain Yamamoto was being supported by Ichigo as they made their way over. My eyes widened and I ran over to help support the head captain. We got him seated and then the talk began.

Shinji explained everything that we did and Head Captain told us about beating Starrk.

"Are you okay?" I whispered to Ichigo.

"Yeah. Now that I know you're alright" he replied and pecked me on the lips. I wrapped my arms around his waist.

It was getting dark and late. The war took a long time and I'm pretty sure everyone was exhausted. The next day, we spent a couple of minutes going around the Seireitei to check that there were no more hollows left. Lots of soul reapers were flash stepping about with different jobs. With all the damage done, we had to make arrangements to repair it all.

~ 5 Days Later ~

I stood in the meeting room along with all the captains and their lieutenants. The last few days had gone by in a blur. Everyone was hard at work with repairing the seireitei. The Senzaikyu Tower was coming along well but the Sokyoku Hill was harder to fix. We also had to rebuild the squad 9's barracks due to the bomb.

My eyes shut as tears threatened to spill. Even though I wasn't a close friend, I felt the need to cry over his death. At least he died a heroic death, I guess you could say. Other than his death, none of the lieutenants or captains died. Only soul reaper died but they still died like a true knight. The Seireitei has been thoroughly checked several times, maybe more, for hollows and anything else.

"Thank you all for coming here today. We have a few things to discuss, relating to the previous 'Espada War II'" Head Captain Yamamoto loud voice boomed across the place as he welcomed us. Nice to see that he used the name that Shinji made up. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the visoreds were also here right now but they were leaving tomorrow.

"The first matter is that tomorrow we will be honouring the soul reapers that have died and lieutenant Shuhei who died trying to save fellow soul reapers and the Seireitei. They have a special decorated grave site" he continued. Wow. I think I now have more respect for him.

"The second thing. We have two arrancars with us, one being an espada. What should we do with them?" he asked. Everyone's heads turned towards the two arrancars beside the Head Captain. One of them was Taiyo, the little girl I fought with and befriended. The other one was a guy, the espada, that I haven't met before. His name was Ulquiorra.

In my opinion, they shouldn't be punished. Maybe a little bit but they're here because they surrendered, so give them some slack old man! Out the corner of my eye, I spotted a soul reaper girl step forward. I didn't know what rank she was but I remember seeing her around the 6th squad barracks. She had blue hair, blue eyes and blue accessories.

"I would like to voice my opinion, Head Captain" she spoke loud and clear. Yamamoto nodded for her to continue.

"These two arrancars are here because they surrendered. We do not know for sure if they are harmless but I think we shouldn't kill them or punish them badly. I suggest that we keep them here and they work with us and help us. They would be watched at all times until they can be trusted."

Hmm. I liked her idea. It voiced my thought pretty well and I think she has a crush on a certain espada. Anxious stares were glued to Yamamoto for his response. He stroked his beard.

"So you are saying that we should keep them here and let them work with us?" he finally asked and the blue haired girl nodded.

"What if their intentions are actually to harm us and they kill us or destroy the Seireitei, like they planned?" his question stumped her for a bit.

"Well... we could remove their powers so they would be harmless. A couple of soul reapers would also accompany them wherever they go" she replied.

Head Captain seemed to think about it. If this was going nowhere, I would step forward. In fact, I decided to step forward to speak my opinion.

"Head Captain Yamamoto, I would like to say that I agree to what... she said. Without their powers, they wouldn't be able to hurt us or achieve whatever they are trying to achieve. I say that we should give them a second chance" I stumbled a bit near the start because I remembered that I didn't know her name.

"All in favour of keeping the arrancars put your hand up" Yamamoto demanded. Everyone put up their hand except for two people, I'm not gonna name anyone.

Yamamoto seemed to accept this and he declared that the arrancars were free to live in the Soul Society. "Instead of staying here, the arrancars shall stay in the World of the Living for at least two months until proved innocent, like usual punishment. Their supervisors shall go with them and they will stay with Kisuke Urahara. When your time is over, you can return here and you shall have your powers back as well as soul reaper powers."

The two soul reapers that were assigned to Taiyo were Toshiro and Rangiku. Ulquiorra had Byakuya and Renji. I was confused about them getting soul reaper powers as well. Hmm.

The meeting was then dismissed and most people scurried out. I guess it's back to my normal life. Probably going back to the World of the Living. I watched as Ichigo chatted with Shinji and as the two arrancars met there 'supervisors'.

I searched the crowd. Almost immediately, I spotted the short girl with her long blonde hair in two pigtails, Taiyo. After having an argument with myself, I decided to walk over to Taiyo.

"Hey, how were the soul reapers treating you? Everything alright?" I asked as I approached her. Her eyes lit up when they landed on me.

"KAISHA!" Taiyo flung herself on me and I landed on the floor with her arms wrapped tightly around my body. I laughed as I hugged her back.

"I missed you so much!" she cried.

"I did too" I smiled and kissed her forehead. Then she apologised for pushing me over and we both got up.

"Oh, to answer your questions, the soul reapers were nice and everything was cool! And it's more cooler now that I have Shiro and Rangiku as my bodyguards" Taiyo told me.

"Shiro?" I asked.

"That's my nickname for Toshiro. It was either Shiro, Toto or Toshi!" she said and I laughed. "But I don't think they should have a kid be a captain or my supervisor. He's only a few years older than me and I'm almost taller than him!"

That resulted to Toshiro having an irk mark on his forehead. "I'm not a kid!" he exclaimed.

"But you're so short!" Taiyo replied/yelled. She was so noisy. Then she jumped on Toshiro's back and demanded for him to be her horse. I laughed at their behaviour and shouted a good bye, not before hugging Taiyo. There wasn't really any place I needed to be so I just decided to head back to my room in the squad 6 barracks.

When I got there, I saw Byakuya with Tsuki and the espada Ulquiorra. I decided to watch them so I hid peaked around the corner instead of walking to my room.

"I can't believe I can't go with you to the World of the Living!" I saw the blue haired female shout.

"Don't worry. You guys can just Skype call" Renji said. Byakuya and Ulquiorra who were there as well just looked confused. I mentally laughed.

"What's that?" the three asked.

"Umm, I don't actually know. I just heard about it when I was in the World of the Living" Renji confessed.

"I'll miss you Ulquiorra" the blue haired girl said as she hugged and kissed the espada.

"I'll miss you too" he replied.

"Nii-san, make sure you look after him" the girl warned Byakuya. Nii-san?

"Of course, anything for you" he replied and ruffled the girl's short blue hair.

Since when did Byakuya have another sister? Does that mean she's Rukia's sister too? They look nothing alike. Wait, what if she was adopted? How did I not think of that?

"BOO!" someone shouted in my ear. That caused me to jump like, a metre high. I whipped my head around to see Ichigo laughing his head off.

"Don't scare me like that" I scolded him.

"Well, I just wanted to know why you were watching them" Ichigo stated. I turned around, again, to see the four people stare at us. Oops.

"Why were you watching us, Kaisha?" Byakuya asked.

"Umm, I don't really know" I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. We all just looked around at each other. Then the blue haired girl decided to break the silence.

"Well, it's nice to finally meet you, Kaisha and Ichigo. I'm Tsuki Kuchiki, Byakuya's adopted sister" she smiled and stuck her hand out at me. I shook it and then Ichigo shook hands with her. So she is adopted.

Then Renji excused himself to pack for the World of the Living. The rest of them left me and Ichigo alone. We walked back to our room, just talking about going back to the World of the Living. In a few days, we would go back to the World of the Living along with the arrancars and their bodyguards. It would be me, Ichigo, Uryu, Chad and Orihime back at school. Just the thought of school made me groan.

"What's wrong?" asked Ichigo.

"Just thinking about school" I replied.

"At least the war is over now."

I just nodded in response. "I'm gonna miss the Soul Society though."

"Don't worry, we'll be able to visit" Ichigo kissed me and then let out a breath. "I'm... sorry about Grimmjow" he whispered. I pulled him closer and nuzzled my head into his chest.

"It's okay, I guess I should move on, huh? It wasn't your fault" I whispered back. Ichigo frowned.

"Never forget him though. He was a truly good man."

"I would never forget him."

"Now, are you ready to pack?" he asked. I groaned.

"Honestly, no. I mean, we have a few more days" I pouted. I just wanted to stay in this position forever.

"How about we pack now? Then we can spend the rest of our time here doing stuff. I mean, I still have to take you out on a date" Ichigo grinned slyly. I looked up at him and gave him a closed eye smile.

"You're the best boyfriend!" I exclaimed.

"Thank you. You're the best girlfriend" Ichigo replied.

Then I reached up and kissed him. As our lips moved in sync, I felt the familiar sparks of love. He wrapped his arms around my waist and my hair while I did the same. Ichigo trailed some kisses down my neck before returning to claim my lips. Before our kisses got more heated, he pulled away from me and I pouted childishly.

"Time to get packing."
