Kaisha's POV

"Hello" a voice says behind me. My eyes widen and I quickly turn around. Standing in front of me is...

A little girl. (A/N: Did you think Grimmjow? Ha ha, you're wrong)

She's not just a little girl, she's an arrancar. Or an espada, I can't tell. Aww, she's so cute. She looked about 10 years old. How could she fight this young? She had long blond hair that were in two pigtails and blue eyes. Almost covering her eyes, was a fringe. Her clothes were the standard arrancar/espada clothes, white with black outlines. Just looking at her clothes made me think of Grimmjow.

"Hi" I said after a while. Is that what you say to an arrancar? This is so awkward. Actually, what would be awkward is if this girl beat me.

"What's your rank?" the girl asked me suddenly. What is my rank?

"Umm. I don't really know. I'm a substitute soul reaper so I don't really have a rank" I said.

"You don't seem like a powerful soul reaper" the girl replied bluntly. How unfriendly.

"Well, do you wanna find out?" I asked. That was not something I would usually say. Why would I say that?

The girl smirked. "Sure thing, umm...." she trailed off. She gave me a look that said "what's your name?" Right, she didn't know my name.

"I'm Kaisha Kyuto" I told her.

"I'm Taiyo Tamashi" she introduced herself. 'Taiyo' means 'sun' and 'Tamashi' means 'soul'.

"Okay. If you want to fight me then bring it" Taiyo motioned for me to come. Could I hurt a little girl? No. Could I hurt a little girl arrancar? Maybe.

I charged forward with my zanpakuto aimed at her. "Burst to life and incinerate, Kasai Dansa!" I yelled and my zanpakuto lit up on fire. Taiyo put her hand up and made a sword out of light. What the? Is that why she's called Taiyo? Because of the sun. I have to admit, her power is pretty cool.

Her sword of light clashed with mine. Then we separated and then clashed again. Our swords were kind of twisted, with mine being a 'Y' shape and all. I twisted my zanpakuto so it was aimed at her. Fire balls were made and sent her way. Taiyo jumped back and dodged them all. I sent some more powerful ones, faster this time. Taiyo got some light from the sun light and made a light shield. The fire balls disappeared. How?

Taiyo sent what looked like discs of light at me. I flipped around, dodging them all. Don't forget that I do gymnastics, ballet and dance. I loved to do flips during battles, not for the fun of it, of course.

But I must have been a bit distracted. Okay, a lot distracted. Some of the discs were aimed at me but some weren't. They landed in a circle around me. Taiyo smiled at me before I saw this light dome go around me. You can't blame me for getting trapped in here! I said some of the discs were aimed at me.

"You better wish you had your sunglasses with you" I heard Taiyo's smug voice outside the dome of light. Okay. I wish I had my sunglasses with me. I looked around me, seeing nothing but light. I tried touching the dome but it sent pain through my arm and my body. Damn.

"Hikari, buraindo to yaku!" Taiyo yelled. In English: "Light, blind and burn!"

The light shone brighter in the dome. All I could see was yellow everywhere. It was getting brighter and brighter. My eyes were hurting and I was getting a headache. Then the rays of light touched my skin and it burned. I winced and quickly tried to dodge the next ray I saw. It got worse and I couldn't dodge it anymore. The rays of light came from different directions.

Soon, the rays of light would come at me from all directions and the dome of light would burn me to ashes. Right now, I was pretty burnt. My left arm was the worse and it hurt really bad. I had to think quick. What could I do? Think brain, think! I got it! If I use enough force and power, I could probably get out of here.

"Piruetto kasai tatsumaki!" I yelled. In English: "Pirouette fire tornado!" This was the move I was trying to do last time before Kisuke interrupted. I held my zanpakuto out in front of me and spun around. Fire started to come out of my zanpakuto and it started to form a tornado. It kept getting bigger and bigger.

The rays of light burnt my body but I kept going. I saw the dome of light slowly crack. Come on Kaisha! I put more spirit energy into my attack. The fire tornado pushed on the wall of the dome. It was cracking more and more.

"What?" I heard Taiyo say. I smiled smugly. In my mind, I was imagining her so surprised at my awesome power.

Then it happened. The dome of light broke. I was free! The fire tornado was still going. I put a lot more spirit energy into it and sent it to Taiyo. The tornado was now taller than a two storey house. Ha! I'm so proud of myself. Taiyo barely had any time to react but I saw her put up a light shield. There was a massive explosion when the fire tornado hit Taiyo.

When the smoke cleared, I saw Taiyo standing in the clearing, looking all battered and bruised. She looked pretty injured. Hopefully the battle ended and she would give up. Unfortunately, life doesn't always go my way.

"That was pretty impressive" Taiyo managed to say when she got her breath back.

"Not too bad yourself" I replied. Taiyo stood upright and her yellow spirit energy flowed around her. She raised her arms and made swords out of the light. There were many swords. I stared in awe as one after the other was made. When she finished, there was about 70 swords.

"Hikari kogeki no ken!" Taiyo shouted. In English: "Swords of light attack!"

Before I knew what was happening, all the 70 swords came at me. I waved the zanpakuto around and made a fire wall. That stopped most of the swords but some slipped past. I flipped around to dodge the light swords. Unfortunately, one of them burned my right leg. I did a back handspring to get away from her. From the looks of it, she wasn't taking it very well. She was injured from my tornado and she was using up most of her remaining energy.

I waved my zanpakuto up and down. "Hono nonami!" I cried. My favourite attack. A wave of fire was sent to Taiyo but I didn't make it as powerful as it usually was. Taiyo got hit back by that attack. As she was lying on the ground, I quickly ran over to her and put my zanpakuto above her. I was about to kill her but I stopped. I couldn't kill a little girl. I just couldn't.

Instead, I sheathed my zanpakuto and glared at her. Hopefully she wouldn't try to attack. She didn't. Taiyo just lay on the ground looking up at me.

"Aren't you going to finish it?" she asked.

"No" I replied.

"Why?! I tried to kill you" she said. Tears started to pour out of her eyes.

"It's not right. I shouldn't just fight you without knowing what is happening here. Also, I just can't bring myself to kill you. You're still young and you have a big life ahead of you. There's always good in everyone and I know that you have a kind heart" I explained. Wow. I feel like that's the most inspirational thing I've ever said.

"T-Thank you. I didn't think that soul reapers were nice. The espadas told me what happened and I wanted to get my revenge on the soul reapers. I grew up hating them for what they did. When I was younger, and just a hollow, I had a best friend called Hyo. One day, we were just playing when a soul reaper came and killed Hyo. He was my only friend and after that day, I hated the soul reapers. I hated myself for not being able to save Hyo" Taiyo cried softly.

Next thing I know, I was on my knees and hugging Taiyo. She stopped crying and gasped.

"When some people don't know the opposite side's story, they think what they want to think and kill the other people when the other people didn't do anything wrong. I know that not all bad people are bad and not all arrancars are bad" I told her, referring to Grimmjow. I still believed in him.

Taiyo looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"Kaisha!" I turned my head and saw some soul reapers running towards us. They looked familiar but they were probably just some low ranked soul reapers (no offence). Taiyo hid behind me.

"Is that an arrancar?" One of the soul reapers asked as he spotted Taiyo.

"She is, but she's good" I explained as I smiled at Taiyo.

"We were sent to capture as many as we could find. We'll take her but state that she's good" the soul reaper said.

"It's okay, I'll look after her" I replied.

"No, those were our orders. You should join in with the battle again. We promise we won't let any harm come to her" the soul reaper told me. I looked at him. Can I trust him?

"Okay. But if you harm her, I'll kill you in your sleep" I said as scarily as I could. They gulped and nodded. Taiyo and I stood up.

"Taiyo, these people will take you. But you will be seen as a good person. Okay? They won't hurt you" I told Taiyo. She looked hesitant to leave me. Before she left with them, she hugged me. I hugged her back and kissed her head.

"I don't want to leave you, Kaisha!" Taiyo started crying pools of water and acted like a little girl, which she was. After a while, I got her to go with the soul reapers.

"Bye" she said. I gave her a reassuring smile. I guess she wasn't too good with trusting people.

"Bye. I'll see you soon, I promise" I said. She walked away with the soul reapers. Okay, let's go join in with the rest of the battle.
