Chapter 23 (Rewrite)

"You talked," Axel smiled as we entered the driveway. The car stopped before the door, and we both got out. I stepped inside and heard laughter coming from another room. I trailed behind Axel as he led us towards the voices.

"Luc," he called out as he entered the room. "Yeah?" he answered back. I looked down to the floor and walked into the room, standing close to Axel. The laughter died down, and I felt as if I was being stared at. I looked up to see about four guys, and then there was Lucifer and Axel. Lucifer was on the couch with his phone in his hand. His eyes flickered with anger before washing away with a soft look.

He got up and walked towards me. I turned away and looked at Axel, who gave me a small smile before sitting down on the couch. "Walk," I heard a deep tone to the side of me. I turned to see Lucifer towering over me. Deciding not to argue, I let out a huff before walking out of the room.

I was then guided into another room, and I looked around to see we were in the dining room. "Why did you run?" his voice came out tired.

"I want to be alone," I admitted. "He said you would say that," he mumbled to himself. I guess he meant to say that to himself since he looked down at me quickly with a look of regret. "Who said I would say that?" I questioned, annoyed and agitated. He rubbed the back of his head and let out a sigh. "James. He also wanted me to take care of you for a little while," he informed me.

I looked at him in disbelief. You've got to be kidding me. "Can I make a call?" I asked, and he shook his head. "No, sorry," he apologized, and I let out a large groan out of annoyance and frustration. I turned around and started to walk out of the room. "Your breakfast is in the kitchen," he called out, walking behind me.

"I'm not hungry," I whispered, trying to think of another way to leave this house undetected. It's not a choice," his voice came out rough, causing me to turn and glare at him. I opened my mouth to say something, but I closed it, realizing he wouldn't give up. I turned around and stormed down the hall. "Would you stop acting like that?" he growled while grabbing my hand.

I flinched, causing him to quickly release me. His eyes widened, "Sorry. I'm sorry," he quickly apologized, holding his hands up in the air.

"Stop acting like what?" I fired back, ignoring the apology. I looked up at him to see his soft green-grey eyes. "Stop being so mad. I understand why you may be mad, but you're safe now, and I wouldn't let anything happen to you ever again. So please, stop being mad. I'm just trying to take care of you," he begged with a pleading look.

"NO! Don't try to pull that bullshit me. One minute, you're all cold and rude, then the next minute, you're all caring and sweet. I want to be left alone. Honestly speaking, it would've been better for both of us if you just let me fall that day," my voice came out venomous. I heard a creak and turned to see we were standing in front of the living room. The guys were all looking at us. They were all looking at us in confusion except Axel. Axel started at me with pity, and I hated it.

"Mind your damn business, would you?" I yelled at everyone. They all blinked as if they were stupid. They are Lucifer's friends or something, so they have to be stupid. "Technically, this is a public area, not a private area, and secondly, you were talking loud," a guy with long blonde hair spoke. Alex elbowed him, and he released a low grunt noise.

I looked at the glass full of alcohol in his hand and glimpsed at it, causing it to shatter along with his clothes getting wet. "Ops," I glared at him. "You b-"

"Finish that sentence, and I promise you you'll regret it," a deep voice growled next to me. I turned to see Lucifer giving him a threatening look. "You can drop that," I scoffed, already sick of him. He turned his head to look at me. "What?" he asked in confusion.

"Drop the protecting shit. I can handle myself. One little cunt calling me a bitch isn't going to hurt me," I said looking back at the blonde guy. "Watch it," he said, standing up. Short tempered mother fucker.

"No. You watch it. If you had kept your mouth shut and minded your business, then everything would have been cool," I growled in annoyance. "You just love attention, don't you? Especially when it comes from Lucifer? He's always there to save his precious little porcelain doll," he grinned, eyeing me.

"Zip it, Mik," Lucifer growled. "No, you zip it," I snapped, turning to Lucifer.

"He protects you so much, and you act like you don't like it. It's pathetic," he laughed. "I don't like it, you idiot," I spat back.

"You know you do. It's pretty obvious you still like him; now tell me. What did he have to save you from this time? A little bug or spider," he mocked. "Alright, just shut the fuck up, Mik," Axel said, standing up in front of him.

"No. So what is it?" Mik mocked once again as he pushed Axel aside. "None of your business," I mumbled and turned around. He said something, but I couldn't care less. "Sky—" Lucifer spoke softly.

"Look, I'll be outside around the house," I said, cutting him off. I walked back to the door and stepped outside. I walked to the side that was the furthest away from the house, which happened to be the back. I lay down on the lawn and looked up at the sky as it still rained. I closed my eyes and let out a heavy sigh.

I felt my heart being torn apart. I didn't want to be a part of this world anymore. There was nothing left for me. Sure, my brothers would miss me, but they'll get over it eventually. I felt like I would never feel back to myself again. I closed my eyes and felt like I was being pulled back into that white room. I could see his sinister smirk. His lips came closer to me as he held the tip of the knife to my stomach. I could feel my heart beating faster as he got closer.

"Can I lay next to you?" A voice pulled me out of the memory causing me to bolt up and gasp for air. Lightning struck and I felt my breathing becoming quicker and heavier.

"You're safe," a voice said. I looked to see Axel crouched down in front of me, concerned. I looked around in a panic as I tried to get a feel for my surroundings.

I realized I was still outside in the rain behind Lucifer's house, lying on the lawn. I looked back at Axel, who was now offering me a small smile. "I know you want to be alone, but do you mind if I lay with you?" he softly asked.

I stared at him, seeing his hair and clothes getting heavily soaked in the rain again. "You don't mind the rain?" I questioned softly. He shook his head, "Not at all."

I paused a minute before nodding my head. Axel sat beside me and lay next to me. I laid back down and placed my hands on my stomach. Through my soaked shit, I could feel all the scars of the cuts that were still unhealed. Lifting my hands up, I looked at my wrists to see they were still bruised, and my skin no longer looked smooth or nice. I frowned as I could picture my naked body filled with scars and bruises.

"Stop," Axel softly spoke next to me as he gently held my hand. He intertwined his fingers with mine and placed my right hand between us. I found it weird how comfortable I was with Axel, considering I didn't even know him. He could kill me right here and right now, and I wouldn't even know.

Axel chuckled, and I turned to look at him, causing him to look at me with an amused look. "I'm not going to kill you," he read my mind. I couldn't help but chuckle, "That's what a kill would say."

He chuckled again. I stared into his grey eyes. They were so beautiful and peaceful. They looked like bright storm clouds you would see when lightning struck. I watched as the raindrops slowly slid down his face. He didn't seem bothered at all.

"Axel," I called his name, not breaking eye contact with him. He hummed in response—even his hum was perfect. "Why am I comfortable around you?" I asked, uncertain of what answer to expect. Maybe he was going to tell me I was crazy or I was being needy.

He gave me a small smile, "I'll explain later. For now, let's get you dried off and some food." He stood up and offered me his hand. I took his hand and he lifted me up with ease before picking me up bridal style.

I turned to look at him as he started to walk around the house, "I can walk," I softly spoke.

Axel smiled at me. "I know," he said, looking ahead of him. But you walk slow, and I can feel your pain."

Not saying another word, he carried me inside the house and sat me in the kitchen. A plate of food was placed in front of me, and I looked up at Lucifer had placed it. I looked back at the plate to see it was homefries with a side of scrambled eggs, sausage, and toast. I thanked him and he gave me a soft smile.

As I ate my food, I felt something soft and warm warpped around me. I looked to see Axel was wrapping me with a blanket before towel drying my hair. I felt an incredible warmth over and causing me to look up. Lucifer was currently using his powers to warm me up. By the time I finished eating my breakfast, I was completely dried and I also realized Axel was also dry.

Lucifer took my empty plate and started washing my dish while Axel silently cleaned the stove. Every now and then, my gaze would flickered from one to the other. They were both the same height, about 6'3 and built. My mind then remembered the guys from earlier who were also built but we shorter than Axel and Lucifer.

I couldn't help but wondered about the Mik guy. Why did he hate me so much? How did they all know about me? I wanted answered but also felt it didn't matter since people would also find a reason to hate you despite everything.

I closed my eyes as my body started to pain. I could see it. I could see the white room. I could feel the cold air hitting my naked body causing me to shiver. I looked to my left to see different sizes of knives on the table covered in blood. My kidnapper's fingers trailing over them in amusing as he was deciding which one to torture me with next. His finger stopped on causing my body to flinch as I remember exactly how this one knife felt. It was small and the tip was sharp like the rest but what made this different it the amount of tiny teeth it had within the blade that causing twice the pain and twice the damage.

He glimpsed over to with a sinister look. His eyes filled with excitement and lust all at once. Grabbing the knife he walked over to me and my hands tightened into a fist as I was chained to a metal table standing up with my hands spread out on both sides.

His lips then crashed onto mine while his left hand wrapped around my throat. His thumb firmly pushed against my windpipe causing me to gasp for air. As soon as I gasp, using his right hand, he slide the blade against my stomach causing me to let a muffled scream into his mouth. He released my windpipe before pulling away. I let out another scream as he dug the blade into my stomach.

"Stop! Open your eyes," a voice echoed through my head. "Sky!" another voice called. I let out  whimper as my kidnapper pulled the knife out.

"Sunshine," a voice softly whispered, "Open your eyes and breathe," the voice echoed through the white room. A similar scent filled my lung and I slowly opened my hands to see I was on the kitchen floor. Lucifer was in front of me firmly holding my hands open. Looking at his hands I saw they were covered in blood. I then realized it was my blood. I was clenching my fist hard that me nails pierced through my skin causing my palms to bleed.

"Breathe," a voice whispered in my ear.  Axel was sitting behind with me between his legs as he had his hands wrapped around me. I let out an exhaled and before I realized I was holding my breath.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what happened," I frowned looking at Lucifer. He shook his head, "You don't have to apologize for anything. You're just having PTSD from what happened,"  Lucifer calmly spoke as he was now standing up and grabbing some nakpins from the table. He bent down and gently patted dry the puddle of blood from the palm of my hand.

After the blood was dried up, I showered again while Lucifer and Axel waited in the bathroom. I tried to protect but they didn't budge. After I got out, Lucifer and Axel started to address my wounds on my palms before spending 2 hours taking care of the rest of my wounds across my body. I felt embarrassed at how my body looked and they seemed to noticed they both did something I didn't think was possible.

They both heightened their scent causing a strong unresistable smell. My brain felt calmer and filled with a little serotonin. As it got stronger, I found myself in a trance. As they were finished, Axel looked over to Lucifer who nodded. Axel leaned towards me and kissed my forehead gently before pulling away. My body settled into the bed and I slowly blinked as I was falling asleep. Axel then spoke something in another language before I completely passed out.
