chapter 12: Base Multiply By Height

Pilot's POV

"Alright, Tracer. Let's go!!" I yelled out, and ran to the base. Tracer blinked ahead of me.

We got into the base. Is it just me, or is it weird that the electricity in this base is still working?

Me and Tracer went our separate ways to look for anything that we can use to get help.

Tracer's POV

I (somehow) got to the 'Primary Control Room', as labelled. I went into the room.

The room was brightly lit. Computers were there on the desks, and I went to check one.

It had things about climate and shats that I don't know. I'm not a climatologist, nor am I a geographer.

I got rid of that from the screen and wore one of the headphones that, surprisingly, still is in good condition.

I typed the URL for Overwatch Emergency Call, which took at least 5 minutes, and as soon as it showed me the website, I pressed call.

I waited for several seconds, and Ana's face appeared. "Tracer? What is it?" She asked.

"Talon got me, Mercy, Pilot, Mei and Xiura trapped in the Overwatch base in Antarctica. Send help please," I pleaded.

"Who's Xiura?" Ana asked. "Ask Soldier: 76 about that. But hurry up, please!"

Meanwhile

Mei's POV

"We have to move back into the base. I'm running low on ice," I said, backing away from the ice wall.

The ice wall was slowly being destroyed. "Yeah. You're right," Mercy said, who was carrying Xiura, and we soon ran into the base.

I used the remaining ice I had to block the hole, via an ice wall. Tracer suddenly blinked in front of us.

"They're coming! We have to defend, though," Tracer told us, as Pilot came along.

"Alright. We should try and go find a place to hide. . . Or fight them till Overwatch found us," Pilot suggested.

"Ah darn no," we heard Xiura mutter. We looked at him, and we saw him rolling on the ground, making us blink, and tried to constrain our laughs.

"We have no time. C'mon!" Pilot told us. Mercy carried Xiura again, and we all began to run through the base.

Eventually, we reached a room that was completely full of stuff. Perfect for hiding.

I then saw Pilot trying to take the vent off. I raised an eyebrow at this, out of curiosity.

"Gimme your blaster, Mei," he had his strange request. "Why?" I asked, hugging my blaster.

"So I can freeze the door," Pilot replied. I stared at my blaster. It had recharged thanks to Mercy.

I reluctantly gave Pilot the blaster. Pilot smiled, before crawling out of the room.

Pilot's POV

"I'm so glad that I'm don't have hyperventilation," I muttered, as I crawled through the vent.

I went to the right when there was a two way. I soon found myself below the hallway.

I opened the vent, and dropped down. I then used the blaster to freeze the door.

I also used it to freeze another nearby door. I then took out my lucky marker and wrote on the door that does not have the rest of the Overwatch, "Talon-show is stupid!"

I then used the blaster to create a small flat ground, and jumped back into the vents, just as I heard the sounds of footsteps.

I closed the vent, so they won't notice that I was there. I then froze the vent and went back to the rest slowly, so I won't make a sound.
