Yoongi burries his face in the lavender scent comforter. This scent, yes, this scent smells just like what he smelled in Mina's room at home. The scent slowly dissipated over time even though he tried to replicate it by using the same laundry detergent and room spray. Now, he gets to experience it again. He fills his lungs with her scent and his heart with hope. Yes, he hopes his intuition is correct that this is his Mina coming back into his life. As insane as it might sound, he wants this to be real.

The smell of boiling beef congee (sogoki jook) directs his attention toward the kitchen. Standing there, under the soft morning sunlight, the person he wants to see the most is busy cooking. In his memory, Mina would turn around with her radiant smile and beautiful sparkly eyes inviting him over to eat, but then over time, her smiles became weak and her eyes lost its vibrancy. He knows he was the cause of her sorrow.

Having the feeling of someone is watching, Mina realizes that Yoongi was awake, she turns around nervously asking him to get up to eat breakfast without looking at him directly in the eyes. Yoongi puts his hand on his aching heart, because at this moment the girl standing in front of him does not look like his Mina and she is not smiling and even avoiding eye contact with him. He unknowingly robbed himself of his happiness, because of his anger, his close mindedness, and his prejudice against Mina's "scheme".

Cautiously puts the bowls of steaming frangrant jook on the tiny floor table, Mina softly says "please come eat"

"Min-Pd nim, uh...um...may I ask why are you looking for me?" -- cautiously Mina asks Yoongi as she puts the bowl of jook in front of him.

Yoongi perflexes since he could not think of any good excuse for his unannounced visit. What should he tell Mina? The truth that he thinks she is his wife reincarnated into this body? Is it even real? What if it is not real and this thought would scare her and she deems him insane? Is he insane to even believe that she is his wife's soul in another body?

He clears his throat,
"Ah, I come to..ummm..apologize for what I did the other day to you. Um...You haven't showned up to work for few days...um...so I thought I might have scared you for what I did."

Mina blushes recalling details of their last encounter. She stutters,
"Min-pd nim...you do not have to..have to....worry about me or...or...my bussiness".

"How could I not?" - Yoongi interupts Mina. He takes a deep breath and looks straight into her eyes, "From now on, your business is my business." Yes, Yoongi has determined to acknowledge his feelings, his desires, and take actions. He cannot lose Mina one more time. The heartache and pain he went through last time was too tremendous to bear. He will seize any opportunities to have her back in his life again.

Mina is taken back by his words. Before she could ask him why he is saying such thing, Yoongi already comes up to her and gently holds her face in his beautiful hands, making her look into his eyes.
"Mina, I know it's you. I know you are my Mina, the one that I married. People might think I'm crazy to believe in soul shifting, but I can feel your presence. Your appearance might change but your habits do not. Please, come back to me. I need you. I...."

Yoongi doesn't have the courage to say the 3 words that he desperately wants her to hear. He does not feel that he is yet deserved her love or deserved to love her after all he did to her. He is hesistant, so he could only use one hand to move her head close to his heart and wrap the other hand around her waist to pull her into his strong embrace. Mina can hear his heart beating fast and smell his familiar scent. Her will of running from him is shaken. She wants to be with this man, always and forever. He is the only man she has ever loved, but the painful past is not easy to be forgotten. Besides, he does not love her. He has never once said he does. He only said he needs her. Why? To alleviate his guilt? If that the case, he does not need to tie down his life with someone he doesn't love. She has never once blamed him for her death or his cold treatment toward her. She brought it upon herself for forcing someone into the loveless marriage. She has set him free of duty and responsibility, and will not put him in such misery again.

Mina musters up all her strength and push her way out of Yoongi's arms, avoiding his eyes.
"Min PD-nim, I do not know what you are saying. I am not your wife. What is soul-shifting? That is so absurd. You do not have to be responsible for anything, or me. I do not want you to be part of my life. Since you are feeling better, please leave my house. I do not ever want to see you again."

Her heart is shattering as she speaks. She uses up all her strength to keep her composure. "Min yoongi, this is all I can do for you. Letting you go to find your happiness." She thinks to herself as she pushes bewildered Yoongi out of the door.
