Kim Mi Na decided to leave her past behind and went on the journey to forget the painful first love, after she moved her belongings back to her parents' house. Her parents are very understanding ones, who would support their childen of any decision they make. They did not ask for the explanation of the sudden divorce. Actually, they could already predict this day would come based on the changes they witnessed from their daughter's behaviors. Kim Min Na was a very happy and outgoing 22 year old girl, who would always wore warm welcoming smile on her face and her eyes shined with confidence and radiance. However, shortly after married to Min Yoongi, that cheery girl slowly disappeared in front of them and was replaced by a sorrowful one. When they questioned if she was happily married, they could see Mi Na tried to force a smile to assure them that she was. Sometimes they wondered if their decision to agree to Mi Na's request to arrange this marriage was the right one, wondered if it was because they used monetary power to pressure Min Yoongi that made him holding grudges against their daughter. They were surprised when Mi Na suddenly came to them begging for the proposal. They never heard of this young music producer before nor even phantomed the idea that their daughter was actually in love.

In order to save his parents' failing business and continue pursue his love in music, Min Yoongi had no choice but to comply to Mi Na's proposal of marriage. He never heard or even remember meeting her, so why such a proposal just landed on his lap. His first impression of her during their first meeting was not that good. She was young and cheery, too happy in his opinion. He perceived her as an immature chaebol daughter that has too much time on her hands and just wants to find something fun to do, like forcing someone into marrying her. He recalled her big round eyes were pouring out hearts when she saw him, then her chubby cheeks turned red when she shyly smiled at him. She looked more like his buddy Jungkook's type. Yoongi wanted more mature and career-oriented women, someone like Tina Song, his then current girlfriend, a fashion magazine editor.

His parents were surprised but respected his decision to marry Kim Mi Na. They thought he would marry Tina since she was the only one he has introduced to them formally. However, when the money started flowing in and their business was "miraculously" saved, they then realized their son has sacrificed his happiness to save the family. His parents honestly did not know how to react around Mi Na, they resented her for forcing Yoongi into a marriage without love, but her sunny smiles, caring nature, and humble attitude gradually warmed up to them, and they slowly accepted her. Yoongi's mom actually developed the love for her praiseworthy daughter-in-law, because, she was kind, respectful, and especially devoted to Yoongi. Mrs. Min could see that Mi Na meticulously took care of Yoongi's daily life, the house was always prestinely cleaned, his wardrobe was beautifully organized, and Mi Na always thought of him first. She did not see this kind of attentiveness from Tina. She thought Tina is a great girlfriend but would not be a good wife. Kim Mi Na went to Jejudo for a few days to clear her mind. She thought she was strong enough to face the reality that Yoongi was no longer her husband, their lives from now on will be parallelled to each other, but her heart ached so much, so painful to the point of broken. Mi Na locked herself in the hotel room, downing in soju and tears. She thought her tears were all dried up after crying almost every night of her marriage, alone in the empty bed or after cold harsh words Yoongi gave her. She has used up every ounce of her strength to love him, yet only received sadness and neglect. She once dreamt of a happy life with Yoongi where he would take her on dates, on trolls by Han river, be hand in hand cruising night markets, flash his gummy smiles at her, and tussle her hair to compliment her when she does something well,and even kiss her. She longed for his kiss and warm embrace more than anything, but never once Yoongi touched her. He is a man of principle, therefore, he broke up with Tina before they got married and never once cheated. However, his attitude was always cold toward her.

Seven days of moping over a failed marriage was not enough to forget about it, yet it was enough for Mi Na to muster up enough strength to live on. She packed her stuffs then caught a taxi heading to the airport. She wanted to start a new life when she is back to Seoul, a happy life even without Yoongi.
