Nobody: Chapter 14

Kennedy sat next to Jahseh as he cried by his locker. He felt as if everything was his fault.
He just got Nahmir to trust him.
It was true, Jahseh never disliked Nahmir, he was just mad his mother payed so much attention to him. Now he understood why.
He didn't know why he hadn't pushed Kennedy away yet , though. He hated her with passion.

"Move." He said and pushed her.
She rolled her eyes and stayed where she was.

"It's ok Jahseh, there's plenty of Fishes in the sea." He shook his head and glared at her .

"You said that wrong, It's 'Its plenty of Pickles in the jar' , everybody knows that"

She looked at him and opened her mouth to say something but quickly closed it knowing they'd argue if she denied it.

"I'm sorry , but my brother is no good-

"Don't say that!" He yelled and sobbed. She sighed knowing it would take them some time.

"Umm...tell.me how you guys met." Kennedy acted interested, she could get him to open up to her...and the plan will be finished.

Her father would be proud.

[Flashback: 6 grade spelling bee]

"I'm gonna lose momma!" I whined as she put my tie on.
She sighed and shook her head.
"No baby, you're gonna win and make us both proud."

Back then, it was just my mom and I. No one else, and I was proud of that.

"Jahseh Onfroy!" I heard my name and my mom kissed my Forehead.

As I walked, I bumped into someone.
A kid, the new kid to be exact.
He looked down at me and smiled.

"Sorry Jahseh." I felt my face heat up and I looked down.
"I-Its ok Stokeley." I quickly rush to the stage and step up to the mic.

"Word please." I look at the lady and she nodded.

"Your word is humongous."

I looked at her and nodded slowly, I knew the word... But I didn't want to spell it.

In fact-

"Humongous,"

I take a deep breath and looked around in the audience, until my eyes met Stokeley's . He held a thumbs up and smiled.

"M-Y P-E-N-I-S." I laughed as the audience gapsed and Stokeley laughed.

After that we just hung out, then we got together.

[Flashback Over]

Kennedy comforted Jahseh and held him. She was determined to get him one way or another.

[After school]

I

walk into the house seeing a lady in a dress with glasses, my things , and Cleo with her head down.

The lady looked at me and I sighed realizing it's the same lady every time I get taken back

"Hi Nahmir. Are you ready?" I didn't answer her, I simply grabbed my bags and hugged Cleo tightly, but not too tight.

"Pl-please don't let me go. I-I, Th-They Tr-Treat me badly." I whimper.

She sighed and kissed my forehead,"see you soon Nahmir."

I shake my head and walk towards the door

"Goodbye."
