The time was four twenty six p.m. Lexi and Sabrina were at the Bliss Cafe as Kaufman was watching Carpenter standing by the stage as she was singing a song that Sabrina wrote a few days ago and Lexi was listening to the song.

Sabrina: Too bad your ex don't do it for ya

Walked in and dream-came-trued it for ya

Soft skin and I perfumed it for ya (yes)

[Instrumentals play]

I know I Mountain Dew it for ya (yes)

That morning coffee, brewed it for ya (yes)

One touch and I brand-newed it for ya.

Lexi was smiling at Sabrina as Carpenter continued singing the song.

Sabrina: Now he's thinkin' 'bout me every night, oh

Is it that sweet? I guess so

Soon the song ended as Sabrina smiled at Lexi and walked towards her as she said something to her.

Sabrina: [Smiles] So how was the song?

Lexi: [Smiles] Spectacular. I love the song, Sabrina. You have a promising future as a singer.

Sabrina: Thanks Lexi! I appreciate it. I have a few more songs I want you and Jennifer to listen too.

Lexi: [Smiles] I'm excited to listen to those songs.

Sabrina: [Smiles] Once again, Thanks Lexi.

She smiled at her as both of them began eating some cupcakes while talking to each other. Sabrina got her phone out and went to check out her social media profiles while Lexi was drinking some coffee and looked at the city.

Lexi looked at the time on the clock as she asked Sabrina a question as Carpenter put her phone away and listened to what she said.

Lexi: Where's Jennifer?

Sabrina: Oh, she went to hangout with Aaron. They'll be back soon.

Lexi: Oh I see.

They were silent and continued looking at the city until Carpenter said something to Lexi.

Sabrina: Lexi. How's Jennifer doing for the last few years?

Lexi was silent when she said that as she was thinking about everything that has happened until she said something to Sabrina.

Lexi:. . . . . Its taken her years to move on but. . . . . she still has nightmares from what happened nine years ago.

Sabrina: Ever since you told me about what happened to her. I've been always by her side. However Tiffany and her friends keep provoking her.

Lexi sighed to herself and was thinking about everything that has happened as Sabrina was holding her hand and said something.

Sabrina: Lexi, don't worry. Everything will be okay. We're here for her and we will support her.

Lexi looked at Sabrina and nodded as they saw some customers entering the cafe. They got up from their seats as Lexi told her that she was gonna go to her office to look at the financial records of the cafe. Carpenter nodded as she decided to look around the cafe while Lexi went to her office and continued thinking about everything that has happened.

Meanwhile two friends were walking through the streets as they saw the snow falling on the city while cars were driving through the streets and civilians continued walking around the city as they were looking at them.

Jennifer: [Smiles] I love winter. Its my favourite season.

???: [Smiles] Same here. It's awesome.

His name is Aaron Taylor. He is seventeen years old and is a student at Gotham High School. He is also Jennifer and Sabrina's best friend.

Jennifer: So Aaron. Where are we going?

Aaron: Oh you'll know soon, it's actually very close.

Jennifer nodded as both of them continued walking through the city while talking to each other. Sometime has passed and both of them made it to the location as they saw what it was.

Jennifer: Woah, look at that manor.

Aaron: Yeah. I saw that manor many times and noticed its been abandoned for a long time. Nobody even lives there.

Jennifer: Oh I see. Who were the previous owners that lived there?

Aaron: No idea honestly.

Morgan was staring at him as Aaron jumped over the fence and Jennifer followed him as both of them were walking through the snow and she said something to him.

Jennifer: Is it even okay to be here?

Aaron: Relax. Its gonna be alright. Plus I heard its haunted so it's gonna be more interesting for us to explore the manor.

Jennifer: Wait!? Haunted!?

Aaron: Yeah. Come on sis, it's gonna be fun.

Jennifer: Aaron, I'm not going inside. I'm already worried about this.

Aaron: Relax sis. Its gonna be alright. Besides if any ghost shows up. I'll fight them.

Jennifer: [Chuckles] Good luck with that.

He smiled at her as both of them continued walking towards the manor and made it to the main door as Jennifer said something to Aaron.

Jennifer: Do we really have to do this?

Aaron: Don't worry Jennifer. I'll say it again, it's gonna be okay.

Jennifer looked at him and nodded as they slightly pushed the door and the door opened as they looked at each other and entered the manor.

The manor was in darkness and both of them were walking through the hallway as Jennifer used her phone to open the flashlight and continued looking around with Aaron.

Soon both of them were at the living room as Jennifer noticed some pictures on the table and Morgan picked up one of the photo frames and saw a photo of Anna and Alex standing by an amusement park as she was staring at the picture.

Jennifer: Hey Aaron, look at this photo frame. It's the owners of the manor.

Aaron: Holy crap. . . . . . That's Alex Ambrose.

Jennifer: Who?

Aaron: He's the CEO of Hope industries. However he left the company eleven years ago and was never seen again.

Aaron was gonna say something else until something ran through the darkness which startled both of them and Jennifer dropped her phone and the flashlight on the phone was turned off.

Jennifer: Great. Hey Aaron, give me your phone for a second.

Aaron: Sorry I didn't bring it with me.

Jennifer: Are you serious-

Suddenly both of them heard footsteps which spooked them as they were looking around until Jennifer and Aaron saw someone standing in front of them and he was staring at them.

Jennifer and Aaron noticed Alex was just staring at them as they slowly stood back and Taylor said something to him.

Aaron: Woah buddy. You scared the crap out of us.

Alex was silent and stared at them as Jennifer and Aaron looked at each other and Taylor said something to Ambrose.

Aaron: Michael Myers, is that you?

Alex:. . . . . . . . . .

Jennifer: Hey there. Sorry we didn't know somebody lives here. We thought it was abandoned.

Alex:. . . . . . . . .

Aaron: Buddy, we're sorry for trespassing. Look we'll just get my friend's phone and then we'll leave.

Alex:. . . . . . . . . Leave right now.

Jennifer: Yeah. I'm-

Alex:. . . . . If you don't leave in five seconds. I'll report you two to the police for trespassing.

Aaron: Bro, Relax. We'll leave just-

Alex: Five. . . . . .

Aaron: Jennifer, let's go now.

Jennifer: But my phone! Lexi will be angry!

Alex: Four. . . . .

Aaron: Looks let's just go or we'll be in big trouble.

Jennifer was annoyed and wanted to tell Alex about her phone but he counted to three which left both of them no choice but to immediately leave the manor.

Alex closed the door and locked the door as he looked at Jennifer and Aaron through the window before he walked away.

Jennifer and Aaron were walking away as Morgan was upset and shouted at Taylor for not knowing somebody was living there as he apologised to her and Jennifer was now worried about her phone because she needs it. Soon both of them were walking through the streets as they decided to go to the Bliss Cafe.

Meanwhile in the Gotham City Police Department, Benjamin, Caleb and Daikon were sitting at the office as they were watching the news report.

Reporter: Another family slaughtered by the hands of the mutant gang.

Reporter: Crime is at a record high in Gotham, the city has gone to hell and nobody seems to be doing anything about it.

Reporter: Death threats have once again been leveled by the mutants against city officials. This is their video message to the city.

Mutant Leader: Gotham City, This is your final warning. Surrender to us or more blood will be shed.

Reporter: Today marks eleven years since the Batman's death. The Batman who is a vigilante and became a one man war on crime was involved in the murder of The Joker and various city officials. He was last seen moving towards a hurricane that was going to sweep the entire city and wreckage of the Batboat was found at the bay. You can find this wreckage at the national museum.

Suddenly the team saw Anne entering the office as she spoke to them.

Anne: Any clue where the mutant leader is hiding?

Daikon: Not yet. He's sending video messages to us.

Benjamin: And we don't know the exact location.

Caleb: We're still looking for his current whereabouts.

Anne nodded and sat down with the team as they continued thinking about everything that has happened. They need to stop the mutants or else the entire city will fall apart.

Meanwhile Lexi was at her office until she saw Jennifer entering the office as Kaufman smiled at her and was gonna say something until she noticed Jennifer was worried and was thinking about something as she said something.

Lexi: Jennifer. What happened? Is everything alright?

Jennifer: Sis, I'm so sorry.

Lexi: Wait? What happened?

She got up from her seat and went to check on Jennifer who was worried and she asked her again what was the matter until Morgan told her everything that has happened and Lexi was shocked and said something to her.

Lexi: I told you, never to go to abandoned places!

Jennifer: I'm sorry sis. Right now I just need my phone back.

Lexi stared at her and was thinking about everything that happened until she said something to her.

Lexi: Okay, I'll get your phone back. Who is he anyways?

Jennifer: I don't know who he is.

Lexi: Okay then. Don't worry I'll talk to him and get your phone back.

Jennifer: I'm so sorry sis.

Lexi: It's okay. It's over now, don't worry about it.

Jennifer nodded as Lexi gave her some coffee and both of them sat down and drank some coffee while talking to each other as snow continued to fall on the city.
