Tobias POV

I can't believe Peter's back. And is working with Marcus. To try and save Amity. I'm sure they aren't doing it for the sake of saving the faction. The Amity are oblivious of how bad the war was and the side effects. They think that Candor and Erudite still exist. Only high officials know about the factionless war. Maybe, if one faction can sustain, the other factions will start to rebuild. That must be what Peter and Marcus are doing. But why are they doing it?

'Tobias. Tobias.' Matthew's shouts wake me from my day dream.

"What?" my voice sounded angrier than I meant it too.

"You should get some sleep. If we want to get to Tris by tomorrow, which we do, we need to leave early."

Tris. I forgot about Tris. I was too worried about Peter and Marcus that I forgot why we were here. To see Tris.

"Well, alright," I say, reluctant to rest. I wish we could just leave now. The sooner we leave the sooner we get to Tris.

"Goodnight Tobias."

"Goodnight." 

I tossed and turned. The Amity may have been really nice but their beds were like rocks. My thoughts were also swirling around my head which didn't make it any easier to fall asleep. I decided to take a walk but when I tried to open the door it was locked. From the outside. So much for that idea. I decided to just try and sleep.

My thoughts were whirling in my head. Peter and Marcus. Why I can't they locked us in. But mainly.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't updated in forever. We just got about 5 assignments and I'm just trying to finish them all. Good thing I didn't make any promises. This time in 2 weeks I'll be on holidays, for 7 weeks. Heaven. I'll be updating more then but I'm going away and with Christmas and all. Sorry about the short chapter. I still have a serious case of writers block. I came up with an outline of the story but didn't want Tobias to go straight to Tris and the problem is solved in the first 10 chapters. That means that then they just dilly dally around for the rest of the book so I'm trying to add more small problems that grow and then they have to solve them too. Just to add some more depth and interest to the story. If you guys have any more ideas I'd be happy to with any ideas that you guys have and use them in the book. I got tired of coming up with names to the chapters so now they're just number.
