Tris POV

I open my eyes and look into his. Dark, dark blue, almost black. Something draws my attention in his left eye. A small, light blue patch near the corner. I search his face, looking at his other features. A hooked nose, strong jaw, distinct chin, spare upper lip, stick-out ears. They all look so familiar

He starts stepping closer to me. Cautiously, I step back. He gives me a puzzled look then takes another step forward. Then another. I take another step backwards. Who is this guy? The look in his eye suddenly turns into sadness and disappointment.

'Tris? Tris, it's me, Tobias'

Tobias? The name swirls through my head. Its sounds so familiar but I can't remember where from.

'Tris. Do you remember who I am?'

I slowly shake my head. His blue start to fill with tears.

'It's ok Tris. I've got you.' He embraces me in a warm, familiar hug. I push I’m off. I don't know who he is. For all I know he could be an axe murderer. I look up to his face. We are six inches apart. All the features on his face show one sign. He was offended.

"Who are you?' I yell. I thrash out at him and he starts to run away.

"I'm Tobias. Tobias. Four? TRIS! Please remember!' he calls out behind him. I sit on the bed that I only became aware of a few seconds ago.

'Tobias. Tobias.' I run the name over my tongue and it just rolls off, like I've said it a million times. Then an image flashes into my head. It's of me and him kissing. I start calling out his name. 'TOBIAS! TOBIAS!' but he keeps running and doesn't even look back. I roll up in a ball and cry. After a while I begin to fall asleep and I let the slumber take me away.

Hey. Sorry for the short chapters. Not really but everyone always says sorry and I don't know why. Amazing books have short chapters and everyone loves them. Personally, I like short chapters but I'm the entire human population. I'm not even the majority. I'm a speck of sand on a beach. But enough blabbering. I hope you guys are enjoying the story. Please leave comments on what needs improving (which will be lots). Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. It will probably always be like this. I'm busy with school and reading other fanfics and I have serious writers block. Until I get the start. Then it just starts to roll. By the way. this is a dream. Yeah, so. Keep reading.
