Hey everyone! Thanks for clicking on my book, this is my first time writing a mystery-ish/thriller book.   So, naturally, any advice would be greatly appreciated if you see something that's either been misspelled, doesn't make sense, pointing out plot holes, or anything else like that.   Now then, off with the Author's Note and onto the story! Oh, and please leave a vote or comment if you enjoyed the story^^ 

????:  I was running down the steep hill, covered with rocks, tree roots and holes in the ground.  I heard them chasing after me from behind.  Shouting at me to stop, if I did stop....the consequences would be horrid.   No.  I have to keep going, don't fail me now legs, please.  I have to get to Butch!  The thought of him left alone in my apartment, confused and not knowing if I'd ever come back gave me the drive to keep pushing on.  I was covered with scars, bruises, cuts, and dirt.  I had been running for a very, very long time the wind became stronger while rain and hail started to fall from the sky.  I kept running on, even though some heavy fog started to set in making it impossible to see the tripping hazards on the ground.  Their footsteps stopped, they must be done chasing me.   They must be turning back.  Then I felt like my legs like were non-existent, and was just about ready to collapse......
