III - Crystoid

Sorry for the two day delay! I kinda forgot time was a thing...

~

Crystoid

"Where are you taking me?" I ask the man dragging me out of my apartment.

"The TARDIS," he says.

"The what?"

"The TARDIS."

"The what?"

"It's just called the TARDIS, okay?" He sighs and runs his hand through his hair. "Blimey you're going to be a lot of work."

"Says the one who barged into my apartment without permission and looked through my stuff!" I huff out but he ignores me. We run out of the apartment complex and he takes a sharp left down an alley. I slap his hand away before he can drag me any further.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asks and turns around to look at me.

"I know how this is going to play out," I hiss at him.

"Falvia, it's not like that. I promise," he tries to assure me.

"My name isn't Falvia!" I stamp my foot. "It's Claudia! What sort of name is Falvia anyways? Falvia. Too Star Trek," I grimace.

"Claudia, please," he begs. "This is a life or death situation."

"I'm pretty sure if I go with you, it will be death," I glare at him.

"Claudia," he puts his hand out for me to take. He stares at me with his big brown eyes and I groan.

"Fine," I mumble and put my hands in his. He grins and we walk down the alleyway together. "I'll have you know, life in the orphanage was tough, so I know how to kick a guy's ass."

"I'm looking forward to seeing that," he smirks.

"Are you flirting with me?" I ask appalled.

"Depends on how you see it," he turns to me and winks.

"You're making me feel so safe right now," I grumble and he laughs.

We go deeper into the alley until we reach a dead end. The only light is from the glow of a giant wooden blue box in front of us. I furrow my brow when I see it says "police".

"Are you a police man?" I gasp. "Are you arresting me? I didn't do anything!"

"Whoa, Claudia. Calm down," he chuckles. "Stop jumping to conclusions."

"Why are you even bringing me here?" I ask as he walks towards the box but I don't follow.

"Because we're the same," he says simply and unlocks the box. "Aren't you coming in?" He grins and steps inside.

"No, I'm not coming in," I huff. "You brought me down a dark and dirty alleyway to try to make me get into a box that I bet even your stick body can't fit into, and I'm still in my pajamas. I don't think so."

There's a bang and a shout. "Just come in!" He yells from the inside. Another bang.

"Are you okay?" I ask.

"These hands don't agree with me," I hear him say. "I do like the thumbs though."

"Okay, I'm going back home," I say and turn around.

"Wait, no!" He yells but I ignore him.

"Bye Doctor! It was nice meeting you!" I yell out.

I walk out of the alley and am surprised to find that he isn't following me. Something is yelling at me to go back, but I ignore it. I walk into the apartment lobby and walk up the stairs until I reach my apartment. I try to open the door, but I remember that I left my keys inside when he dragged me out. I bang my forehead against the door and groan.

"Who is it?" I hear someone yell from inside and I pause.

"Who the fuck is in my apartment?!" I shout. The door opens and I'm greeted by the Doctor's grin.

"Oh, nice of you to stop by. Please come in," he says and steps aside.

"What sort of game are you playing?" I glare at him and walk inside. He doesn't get a chance to answer though, because right when I get inside, I push him out and lock the door.

"Hey!" He bangs on the door a couple times. I think he walks away, so I turn around but gasp.

"My table!" I exclaim as I see the blue box on my now crushed table. "How the hell did he bring this up here?"

I walk up to it and try to lift it, thinking it might be made out of cardboard and painted really well, but it doesn't budge. Instead, it starts to hum and groan.

"What the hell?" I mumble.

My curiosity gets the best of me and I check to see if the door is unlocked. It opens slightly and light shines out and it groans again. I think I hear the Doctor snickering outside the door.

I step inside but quickly step out and fall on my butt. I scramble to my feet and walk to the back of the box, which is a little hard because I had to squeeze in between the box and my counter. I tap the back of the box, but it was solid. I wrap my arms around it, but the sides were too. I walk back in front of it and poke my head inside. I back up and hit the door of my apartment. I slowly open it up, and the Doctor falls on my feet.

"Hiya!" The Doctor says, staring up at me with a grin. He must've been leaning up against the door. I take a step back, but he still lays on the floor.

"Who are you are?" I ask slowly and carefully.

He gets up and stares at me confused. "I'm the Doctor."

"No. Who the hell are you?" I repeat.

"I'm not sure what you're trying to-"

"Okay, how about this. What the hell are you?"

He stares at me before smiling slowly. He stands and answers smugly, "Look in the mirror."

"What are you-"

"Okay, no more time for questions! Let's go!" He interrupts and grabs my hands. I'm caught off guard so I have no choice but to let him drag me into his magic box. He sits me on a chair, shuts and locks the door, and flicks some switches on the console before I have time to blink.

"Wait, what's going on?" I look around confused, not really processing what just happened. The box starts to shake a little violently and I hold onto the chair.

"You are on the TARDIS," he says and grunts as he flips a lever. "Stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. Technically, it's a time traveling spaceship. Also, I'm an alien, I'm the last of the Time Lords, and I have two hearts. Oh, also I'm going to have to know if you have a fob watch. We now have time for questions, so ask away!" He spitfires and I blink at him.

"What?"

"Your questions have to be less vague than that," he says. "Ah! There we go! Okay, fob watch. Yes or no?" He says and takes a watch out of his pocket.

"You mean a pocket watch?" I eye it. "Why do you want mine if you have one right there?"

"So you do have one then, yes?" He stares intensely at me.

"I used to, but I don't see what the big deal is-"

"Explain," he interrupts. I roll my eyes.

"Well, a year or two ago, I was riding my bike on this road by a lake, right? Well, I wasn't looking where I was going, and I hit a rock, flew off my bike, landed on the ground, and rolled into the lake. The watch was in my pocket, and I guess it slipped out. Almost died, but I'm good now." I shrug like it was no big deal.

"Really?" He stares at me. "That's it?"

"Um, yeah," I furrow my brows. "Well, I did see it open when I fell into the lake."

"Did anything happen?"

"I remember seeing a weird light come out of it, granted I was losing oxygen and it was a sunny day."

"Where was it?" He's suddenly in front of me. "Where was the lake?"

"I don't know!" I put my hands up to protect myself. "It was a school trip! We were out of state! And I almost died!"

He steps back and sighs as he runs his hand through his hair. "Well, that explains the heart beats."

"What?" I furrow my brow. "How?"

"All of that energy leaving the clock for two years. Where can all that energy go? It can't just float around, there's too much for it to do that. Too many memories and experiences and feelings and life. So it travels around, trying to find the owner of its existence. Might take a while, might not get all of it at once, but it will happen," he says and I stare at him.

"Why would there be energy in a watch? What are you talking about?" I ask.

"You are the owner of the energy," he points at me.

"Me?"

"Yes, you. Not only is it energy, but it's a part of you."

"How can the energy be me? Did the watch like suck my soul out or something?"

"In a sense, yes," he says and my eyes widen. "But not like that. A long time ago, you were probably in a predicament where you were forced to put what makes you you in a watch to survive. It's a trick Time Lords do."

"Are you saying I'm a Time Dude?"

"Time Lord," he corrects but I ignore him.

"Well, sorry to burst your delusional bubble, but I'm not a Time Dude," I huff. "In fact, that pocket watch was broken anyways. Also there's a clock on my wall that just won't work..."

"You're not understanding what I'm saying," he groans. "The watch was not broken, it was waiting. Waiting for you to open it and be who you really are."

"But I am who I am. I'm me," I tell him.

"You are not human. You are a Time Lord. You're greater than you can ever imagine. We are supposed to be-" he cuts himself off and smacks his lips together. He walks away while shaking his head.

"We are what?" I ask and follow him with crossed arms.

"Nothing," he mumbles and flips another switch. Everything shakes and I almost fall to the ground.

"It's obviously not nothing," I argue.

"It is for you, seeing as you can't even admit to who you really are!" He hits the console. "Argh!"

"Dude, calm down," I stare at him wide eyed.

He takes some deep breaths before grinning up at me. "Sorry. Emotions all over the place. New face, new me. I'm a bit rude, aren't I?"

Oh god I'm stuck with a lunatic.

"Right, I'm leaving," I say and walk towards the entrance.

"Wait no! Argh, not again," he mumbles and runs towards me, but I'm already at the door. I walk outside and gasp.

"My apartment is gone," I whimper as I look at the unfamiliar territory around me. "What did you do to my apartment?"

"I didn't do anything to the flat," he says and walks out, now wearing his trench coat. "It's where it's supposed to be in America."

"In America?" I look up at him. "Are we not in America?"

"Eh," he shrugs.

"Why is it snowing?" I look up at the sky and rub my arms.

"It's Christmas," he shrugs again.

"No, it's June," I look at him like he's crazy.

"No, it's Christmas," he repeats. He notices me shivering and hands me his coat. "Merry Christmas."

"You brought me to a snowy place while I'm still in my pajamas," I say and try to put the coat on. "Oh my god, you are a stick!"

"Hey," he pouts.

"How is any of this even possible?" I look around. "How can you make my house disappear?"

"I already said it didn't disappear. It's back in America," he looks down at me. "Space ship. Remember?"

A blonde girl comes running over to us before I have time to respond. She's wearing a blue jacket and has a bag on her back. "You left me!" She huffs but smiles. I notice she has a thick British accent. Her smile falters when she sees me. "Who's this?"

"Falvia."

"Claudia."

"It's Claudia," he says and points to me.

"Not to be rude or anything, but why is she here?" She asks.

"He kidnapped me," I mumble and wrap the coat tighter around me.

"He what?" She asks surprised and looks up at the man.

"No, no, no!" He shakes his head. "I left because I got a message on the TARDIS talking about an alien moth invasion and I had to check it out. Ends up it was in her flat, it was actually an ant invasion, and she's a Time Lord!" He grins.

"I'm not a Time Lord. You're delusional," I grumble, but then burp as more golden smoke comes out of me.

"Ew," she grimaces.

"Yeah, I know. He inhaled it last time."

"Ew!" She repeats and stares at him in disgust. "Wait, wasn't that the gold stuff you kept on exhaling after you regenerated?"

"Yeah, see? Time Lord!" He grins again. "And I didn't inhale it. It was near my face and I happened to breath it in."

"Yeah, sure," I scoff. "That explains why you had an orgasm after you did."

"Falvia!" He scolds me.

"It's Claudia, god dammit!" I yell at him. "Can we go back inside? It's fucking freezing."

"She swears a lot," he whispers to the girl.

"It is pretty cold," she muses. "We should probably head out. Where are we going first?"

"I don't know. Isn't that exciting?" He grins for the millionth time and almost skips into the TARDIS, me and the girl following close behind.

"What's your name?" I ask the girl as we step inside.

"Rose," she answers and I nod.

We don't say anything else as she stands by the Doctor and I sit on the railing chair. They chat and I catch the Doctor staring at me a couple of times, and I glare at him in return.

"When can I go home?" I ask.

"Soon. Maybe," the Doctor mutters.

"What year are you from?" Rose asks.

"What do you mean?"

"Like what year was it when you got picked up?" She clarifies but I'm still confused.

"2013...?" I furrow my brow and her eyes widen.

"She's from the future!" Rose tells the Doctor excitedly.

"And you're from her past. Isn't time fun?" He grumbles and flips a switch.

"What's up your ass?" I ask him but he ignores me. I turn to Rose. "What do you mean by the future?"

She doesn't get a chance to answer because the Doctor beats her to it. "I did say it was a space ship time machine, didn't I? She's from 2006. We actually were just in 2006."

"My head hurts," I grumble.

"What? Why?" He rushes over to me with a worried expression. I stare at him confused.

"It doesn't literally hurt, you moron," I huff and push him away. "This is just too much info to process."

"Oh, right, yes, okay," he says and moves back to the console. Someone's phone starts to ring.

"Oh, that's me," Rose says and takes out her phone. "It's my mum," she sighs and answers it. "Hello? Yeah..." They continue to chat so I look over at the Doctor who's already staring at me.

"Take a picture. It'll last longer," I smirk at him. He takes a weird object from the console and points it at me before it flashes, blinding me momentarily. "What the hell was that?"

"I took a picture," he smirks and slides a moniter around so I can see it. On it is a image of me in my pajamas and his trench coat, staring at him with a sarcastic expression and wild hair.

"I hate you," I mumble and wrap the trench coat tighter around me.

"Nah, you love me," he says a little cheekily and I throw my hands up.

"I just met you!" I argue but he just laughs.

Rose's phone call ends just as the TARDIS bounces. We all fall to the ground and her phone flies out of her hand and lands on the grated floor with a thud, but luckily it doesn't break.

"What the hell was that?" I ask confused, still on the floor.

"Turbulence. You'll get used to it," the Doctor huffs and flips a lever with a shout. "There! Landed!"

"Landed where?" I ask and stand up.

"Sunlight!" He says and runs outside. Rose follows without question but when I reach the door, I pause. There is no ground beneath me, only space.

"What the hell is this?" I say, looking down. I look up to see Rose and the Doctor staring at me, waiting for me to join them. "Are you guys floating?"

"No, we're standing," the Doctor jumps. "We're on the planet Sunlight. It's made entirely out of see-through crystal. Look at the ground; see how it's shaded white? That's the crystal." I look down warily. "It's partner planet is called Midnight. Entire planet is made out of diamonds. Kind of ironic how this one is called Sunlight when it's too far away from the sun that it's freezing, and the other is called Midnight when the sun is so bright it could vaporize you. I haven't been to Midnight yet for some reason. Should have probably went there instead..."

"Are you sure it's safe to walk on?" I ask.

"Well, look at us!" He bounces again and Rose joins in. "Totally safe."

I stare at them hesitantly while stepping one foot onto the planet. I left my slippers in the TARDIS, so my feet are still barefoot. The rock is smooth and cool beneath my foot, and my breath comes out as steam. I sigh in relief as I land my other foot down and I don't fall anywhere, but my hands are still gripping the TARDIS.

"C'mon, Claudia!" Rose cheers. "It's more fun if you let go completely!"

"This is fun?" I yell and they chuckle. I finally let go and run towards the Doctor, clutching on to him. "If I fall, you fall."

"Ah, don't worry. You won't," he says but holds onto me back. I can feel lots of thumps in his chest.

"What's wrong with your chest?" I put my ear up to it. "Are you having digestive problems?"

"What?" He laughs. "No, two hearts, remember? Blimey, you have a horrible memory."

"What-"

"What was that?" Rose points towards the horizon, but I see nothing.

"What was what?" I squint.

"I saw movement," she mutters and walks towards it.

"No, nothing can live on here. Too cold and no atmosphere," the Doctor explains and I slowly turn to him.

"Then how are we okay?" I ask him. He opens his mouth to say something, but nothing comes out. "Well?"

"The TARDIS must be protecting us," he mutters but still looks worried. "Rose, Claudia, back to the TARDIS. Now."

"But-"

"Now, Rose," he says and they run back.

I stay for a bit, but then see the movement Rose was talking about, and start to run back. When I'm a couple yards away from safety, the ground disappears beneath me and I feel myself falling. I scream until I hit the bottom of whatever I fell through and gasp for breath.

"Doctor, you asshole!" I yell, hoping he can hear me. I try to stand up but I fall back to the ground. I feel pain in my arm and see I was punctured by the crystals. "Ah, fuck," I mutter as I try to take it out, but it doesn't budge.

"Claudia!" I hear the Doctor yell and I look up. Thanks to the planet's see-through ground, I could see him walking blindly around.

"Down here!" I yell and the crystals make my voice echo. He looks down and gasps.

"What happened?" He asks and places his hands on the ground.

"What do you think happened dipshit? I fell!" I yell and he rolls his eyes.

"Well, glad to see you're okay," he mutters and it echoes around so it sounds like he's right next to me.

"Whoa, that's weird," I tell myself and the Doctor looks around frantically.

"I can hear you," he says in a normal voice.

"I think the crystal echoes our voice," I tell him and he nods.

"Doctor? Where's Claudia?" I hear Rose ask.

"Down here," I sigh and she jumps, but looks down.

"Well that was spooky," she says and joins the Doctor.

"Yeah it is, now help me!" I huff. "I've been wounded. The crystal is stuck in my arm."

"Have you tried taking it out?" The Doctor asks.

"No, I thought it would be nice if it would stay there and infect my blood with weird alien diseases- OF COURSE I TRIED, DICKWEED!"

"Well, glad to see her temper hasn't changed," he huffs and I growl.

"Just get me out!" I yell. My vision gets blurry and my arm flares with pain. I look down at the crystal in my arm and I see it melting. I sigh as it goes away with the pain.

"Claudia?"

"Hm?" I look up to see them a couple yards away from where they were currently, looking for me. "Oh, I'm fine. The crystal is gone."

"What do you mean gone?" The Doctor asks.

"It's just... gone," I inspect my arm. "It melted."

"Melted?" He mumbles and gasps. "We have to get you out of here."

"Why?" I ask just as I hear Rose screaming. I look to my left to see her rolling towards me. She lands on her back and stares up at me.

"Hello."

"Welcome to the party," I snort and she smiles.

"Got it!" The Doctor yells.

"What?" I'm answered by the TARDIS materializing in front of me. "What the fuck?"

"Yeah, it does that," Rose says and stands up. The Doctor rushes out of the doors.

"Why are you in such a-" I'm interrupted by him grabbing my arm and dragging me into the TARDIS and down a hallway. "Doctor, what are you-"

"Sush," he interrupts and turns a corner. "Rose, stay in the console room. This could get messy."

"How big is this thing?" I ask in awe as I look around. We passed like 10 corners now, and there's still more.

"It's huge, now where is the..." He pauses as he stands in front of a door. "Ah ha!" He yells and brings us inside.

I look around and immediately grimace. "Oh, not an infirmary."

"You're sick," he answers quickly and pushes me on a bed.

"What do you- holy shit!" I shout as he sticks needles into my arm.

"Sorry. Sort of," he mumbles. He gives me a shot of something and takes my blood.

"Holy fucking- what's wrong with my blood?" I ask over the pain. It's swirling with a weird glittering liquid.

"The crystal," he states and grimaces. "Not actually crystal though, the whole planet was a parasite."

"What, it's alive?" I snort and he nods. "How can a planet be a alive?"

"It's not a planet, it's a parasite," he repeats and I roll my eyes. "And right now, it's in you."

"What?! Get it out!" I screech. I look down at my arm and notice that it's turning purple. "Doctor!"

"Argh," he hits his head. "I'm so thick! Head full of knowledge and I'm thick!"

"Aren't you humble?" I scoff but wince as the pain intensifies.

"Ugh... ergh..." He mumbles nonsense before grinning at me. "I got it!" I reply with a scream of pain. He rushes into a medical cabinet and grabs out a giant needle and my eyes widen.

"No no no," I shake my head.

"That's good, that's the parasite talking. It's scared," he rushes over to me and brings his arm back. "Now, relax."

"I swear to god, Doctor, if you-" I'm cut off by him sticking the needle into my arm and I shriek. My mouth goes dry and I tense up as I feel a bubbling sensation in my stomach. I gasp and fall limp against the hospital bed as more gold smoke comes out of my mouth, joined by some glittery purple smoke. It flutters for a bit before disappearing. We stare at the spot where it was for a while, not really sure what to do.

"I'm gonna kill you," I whisper and his head snaps towards me.

"What?"

"I'm going to kill you," I say louder and stare at him. "That's twice you've tried to murder me- wait no, thrice! You've tried to kill me three fucking times!"

"Whoa whoa whoa," he shakes his head. "I did not try to kill you. If anything, I just saved your life."

"But if you didn't bring me here in the first place-" I pause and wince as I try to move my arm. "Holy shit."

"Stop swearing," he huffs.

"There's something wrong with my arm," I snap at him. I try to move it, but pain flows up my arm. "Ow!"

"Hmm," the Doctor rubs his chin and takes out his sonic screwdriver. He scans my arm and winces. "Parasite broke your arm."

"What?"

"That's what it does," he rubs his cheek. "Crystoid. Injects itself into a host and breaks the bones to leave room for the crystal to form in and around you."

"So the moving things outside-"

"People who got infected and didn't get treatment," he sighs. "Crystoid zombies."

"That's pleasant," I grimace. "Okay, now heal me."

"Excuse me?"

"You healed me last time," I point to my foot.

"Um, sorry, I don't understand."

"Last time we met, we were crawling through a ceiling and broke through. I sprained or broke my ankle or something, I passed out because something weird happened, and when I woke up, my ankle was healed. Now do it again," I huff and try to cross my arms but I yell out in pain.

"That was a future version of me."

"It still happened," I counter and he sighs.

"Sprained ankle..." He mutters. "Oh! Yellowstone!"

"What?"

"A long time ago, millions of years actually, a spaceship landed on Earth. It was too heavy, so it sunk into the ground and broke down. All the passengers fled and left, but the ship was still there, leaving off steam once in a while."

"Wait, Yellowstone..." I furrow my brow. "Yellowstone Park? The geyser?"

"Yep!" He grins. "The steam isn't just steam though, it's chemicals. A couple centuries into your future, scientists will find out that the geyser is full of medicines and healing properties, such as the cure for cancer, the common cold, and-"

"Broken bones?" I guess and he grins.

"Little particles in the steam go into your body and heal it back to human's average health."

"So nanogenes?"

"No, not nano- wait what?" He looks at me.

"Nanogenes," I repeat and shrug but wince as I move my arm.

"Uh, no..." He stares at me weirdly. "Not exactly. The fuel they used when in gas form brings off tons of chemicals that can cure any illness in any living thing. Well, not every illness, there's of course some exceptions. All we have to do is go to Yellowstone, place your arm over the steam, and-"

"Wait wait wait," I interrupt him and shake my head. "I'm going to place my arm over burning hot steam?"

"Yep."

"Wouldn't that, I don't know, maybe, and this is a just guess, hurt like hell?" I ask and his mouth opens.

"Yeah, good point," he tugs on his earlobe. "Good thing I still have some in here!" He walks back to the medicine cabinet and takes out a little jar. Inside is a smoky white substance.

"Is that-"

"Yellowstone," he nods. "Now, this might hurt a bit."

He walks over and props my elbow up and sets the jar underneath it. He quickly opens it up and we watch as it flies up to my arm and circles around it. I wince as I hear my bones cracking and healing, tiny little sparks of pain popping up. The little jabs of pain stop and the steam disappears. I bend my arm to check if it's fine. Fortunately, it is.

"Well, shit," I mutter. "That's awesome!"

"Yeah..." He grins at me. I start to smile a bit but I force it down. I don't think he noticed, but when I look up, he's smirking.

"Come on, let's go find Rose," he says and helps me out of bed. We walk back to the console room to see her finishing a conversation on her phone.

"Mickey has something for us to check out," Rose says and puts her phone away.

"Mickey? Ergh," the Doctor groans a bit.

"Who's Mickey?" I ask.

"My, uh, boyfriend," Rose mutters and I raise my brow. "Something about a couple of giant birds?"

"Really? That's weird," he furrows his brow. "I should probably check that out."

"Can I go home?" I ask him and they both look at me.

"Er..." He stares at me, and I can tell he's trying to think of an answer. He finally sighs. "Yeah, might as well."

"Thank God!" I huff. "And you need to replace my table!"

"What about a table?" Rose asks.

"He broke my table before he kidnapped me."

"I didn't- ugh!" The Doctor groans. He flips some switches and we fly through time and space. We land with a jolt and I almost fall on my butt. "There you go. Vermont, USA, North America, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way-"

"Okay, I get it!" I roll my eyes. I leave without saying goodbye.

I watch the TARDIS disappear and I sigh in relief. I'm so glad that's over and I won't ever see him again.

"Hello!"

"Holy shit!" I yell out and turn around, posing in a fighting stance in case of danger. Instead there's the Doctor sitting at a glossy new table, drinking some tea.

"I got you a new table. Saw that you didn't have one yet since I first met you. That was a long while ago, where have you been eating? Also bought you some tea seeing as you ran out. Do you even drink tea? No matter Clydesdale, we have to get going. I'm thinking somewhere in the past. You know, I'm really liking the Clydesdale nickname. I think I'm going to keep that. So, what do you say?"

I stare at him while he talks a million words per second. "Wha?"

"Let's go!" He says and grabs my arm. I get dragged into my bedroom to see the TARDIS somehow stuck in there.

"How-"

"Shh," he shushes me, obviously excited. Rose is sitting on the railing chair, reading a magazine. She looks up and smiles once she sees me.

"Hey, Claudia," she smiles.

"Uh, hi," I answer, a little overwhelmed.

"Where do your want to go?" The Doctor asks. "Ooo, how about Van Gogh? Or Houdini?"

"Beethoven?" Rose suggests.

"Beethoven? Err, no. Mozart, maybe," he shrugs. "What about-"

"SHUT UP!" I yell and they stare at me. "Can I choose where to go?"

"Yeah, sure," he grins.

"Okay, how about my home," I glare at him. "I'm leaving."

"No no no no you can't!" He yells at me, but I'm already making it towards the door. He slides ahead of me and slams into the entrance, blocking my way out. "No!"

"What the hell?!" I glare at him. I try to push him away but he doesn't budge. "What is wrong with you?"

"You have to stay," he pleads.

"And why's that?" I cross my arms.

"Because..." he trails off. He stares at me with furrowed brows. "This is early for you, isn't it?"

"What?"

"You're still wearing your pajamas," he notes and looks down at my clothes. "When I picked you up after Sunlight, you were wearing regular clothes."

"So?"

"So you don't know-"

"Know what?"

He stares at me and I feel a peculiar thumping in my chest. "Nothing." He runs towards the console and plays around with it. "How are your feeling?"

"Uh, good? Confused?"

"Ah, right," he tugs on his ear. "You like Shakespeare, right Clydesdale?"

"Yeah, how did you-"

"Fancy a trip there?" He asks. Rose nods at me encouragingly.

"No-"

"Yes," she interrupts. "Let's go meet Shakespeare."

"No no no-"

"All right then! Let's go!" The Doctor grins. "Allons-y!"
