I follow her to a room. It looked like a hotel room but on a boat. "Hope this is good, we don't have much."
"It's fine. Just keep and eye on Kameron and Karson for me please."
"Of course."
I give her a small smile as she hands me some jean shorts and a loose tank top with a sports bra and black panties.
I get undressed and step into the hot shower the water soothing my skin.
I look down at my stomach all purple and bruising. I press down slightly, as I feel pain. I start to wash my hair. I finish up and then start thinking about the crash. Remembering holding his hand as he looked at me, mouthing I love you. I can't help but cry again. I just feel numb and pain in my chest that never seems to go away. I lost my best friend and the love of my life.
"Hey!! Pearson!! Wait up for me."
"Well maybe you should run faster."
"You know I'm not a fast runner."
I tackled him and he dodged me and tackled me. I blush and he kisses me.
"You know one day I'm going to marry you and we are going to have the most beautiful kids."
I smile, "If you say so."
"I know so."
I was 16 and he was 17 at the time.
I take a deep breathe and turn the water off and step out the shower. I put on my clothes but before I can put on my shirt a guy walks in. "Oh! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to."
"It's fine." I say as he looks at me.
"Do you mind?"
"Oh right. My bad."
He left. I finished dressing and then put my blonde wavy hair up and walked out to go see my kids. As I walk out the guy walks up to me. "By they way, I'm Eric. I heard what happened, I'm one of the doctors and I just wanted to check up and see how you guys were doing."
"Well considering I just lost my husband and have to break the news to two 6 year olds and have some bruised ribs, I guess you could say I'm doing pretty swell."
"Don't get all cheeky with me sweetheart. I was just trying to help a hot las out." How could he be so inconsiderate. And why does it bother me so much? I scoff. He smirks, "Don't let it get to you blondy."
"Its not."
"Is that why your cheeks are so flushed then."
I walk away irritated. "Nice talk love." He says.
I see Kameron and Karson and decide to bring them back to the room to lie down. It was pretty late. "Goodnight my Prince and Princess I'll see you in the morning."
"I love you mommy." They both say.
I smile, "I love you guys too."
