Alpha Kurt's POV.

I was in the kitchen with Cassandra and my mother when Cassandra and I froze upon getting Amber's message. She sounds worked up but completely serious. Whatever is happening, it must be very serious.

I quickly add my mother to the mind link and we all go to sit at the closest chairs to us. ' We're here for you Luna Amber. ' I said.

" Whatever you need. ' said Cassandra.

' I need to know that everyone is here before I speak. All Alpha's and Luna's please let me know that you are present?" Asked Amber.

' I'm here Luna Amber. ' said Alpha Anthony.

' My mate and I are here. Do you mind if I add Ronan? He's been a big help to my pack and I feel it's only right to include him. ' said Alpha Lucas.

' Agreed. I'll add him. ' said Amber.

' I'm here Luna. ' said Ronan seconds later.

' John and I are here. I'm going to add your parents to this. ' said Alpha Grace.

' Understood. ' said Amber.

' We're here Amber. ' said Bète Rick.

' My mate and I are here too. ' said Alpha Benjamin.

' Cassandra and I are here. I also added my mother to this meeting. ' I said.

' Understood. Connor and I are here as well as two guests of mine who are imperative to this situation. Everyone I would like you to meet Jane who is human and Rebecca who can't be any older than 12. ' said Amber.

A little girl? Why would Amber want a little girl in this meeting? I look at my mother and mate to see they look just as confused.

' Why would a little girl be imperative to this conversation? I'm just curious. ' asked Ronan.

' Because I want to help and I know a lot about the danger we're about to go up against. ' said the voice of a little girl. That must be Rebecca.

' Well, whatever the circumstances may be, I am pleased to meet you. ' said Alpha Lucas. Everyone said hi to her and to Jane.

" Ok, Luna Amber. Please explain to us why you have called us all to this meeting?" Asked Alpha Benjamin.

' I have just spoken to Jane and she has informed me of this danger. You see, lately my pack has been attacked by a group of werewolf hunters. We managed to catch one of the two groups and that leader happens to be one of the humans that attacked and nearly killed my brother. ' said Amber.

Lots of emotion could be felt through this call. ' Dear, why haven't you come to us for help with these werewolf hunters before now?" Asked my mother.

' I didn't think it was that big of a deal until I talked to Jane about it. Turns out this group has been formed and living across the world hunting and killing our kind. Now they have my pack on their radar and because of the guy who had helped attack John, they also have Kurt's pack in their sights. ' said Amber.

My eyes widen and I look at my family. ' How big is this group exactly?' I ask.

That's when a new voice spoke up. ' Their numbers are in the hundreds. Probably close to a thousand or more. ' said Jane.

Amber and Jane started to explain to us the entire conversation they just had. I can't believe what I'm hearing. Amber's pack is going to get attacked by humans. The next pack closest is Alpha Benjamin or Alpha Lucas who are on either side of Amber's pack.

' I'll be packing up a huge group of guards and we're heading to your pack in the next two hours. ' said Alpha Lucas.

Shock could be felt from Amber. ' Really? This doesn't involve you though. You'd be doing nothing but putting yourself in danger. ' said Amber.

' It doesn't matter if it puts us in danger. Helping out family is more important than just sitting around and letting you guys get hurt. ' said Alpha Lucas.

' I was about to say the same thing. I'll be there by tonight with a group of guards as well. You're not alone in this. ' said Alpha Benjamin.

' You guys are really nice. ' said Rebecca.

' Now on to my next question. Why did you need to add a little girl into our meeting?" Asked Alpha Anthony.

" She and her mother were captured when she was just a baby and she has been raised by them from the age of four. Rebecca has mind healing powers and the power to communicate with other people through her mind. She is a Green Eyed Mind Healer. ' said Amber.

My mother gasped in horror. ' Oh you poor little thing. '

' I'm ok now. Connor and Amber are taking good care of me. ' said Rebecca.

Well, it seems to me like Amber and Connor just practically adopted themselves a kid.  I can't help but to smile at the thought. Leave it to them.

' I am also sensing great power from Connor. ' said Ronan.

' He has stepped up and been given my Alpha power. He is now the Alpha of his pack. ' said Alpha Conan as he spoke up for the first time in this conversation.

' Congratulations Alpha Connor. ' everyone said.

" Now I get the young one has powers, but what use could the humans have with her?' Asked Alpha Benjamin's mate.

' She was used as a different version of a metal detector. From a certain range she could sense of their was any wolf around nearby and the humans would use that to decide which direction to go to get around them and sneak in undetected. ' said Amber.

' Clever and scary. ' said Cassandra.

' Very. We only came across her, well actually my parents did because the pack house has been torn apart and she was freed by her caretaker. ' said Amber.

' We found her in a closet on the top floor. She was covered in bruises and silver burn marks. She even had a burn along her face that could only be in the shape of a muzzle. ' said Natalie.

' She's barely spoken a word out loud and she rarely leaves our side. ' said Connor.

' Connor healed her and now we plan on taking care of her. ' said Amber.

' These humans seem to be a much greater threat than any of us could have ever thought of. What are you going to do if this does lead to an all out war?' Asked Alpha Anthony.

' I plan to fight tooth and nail to protect my pack but I also want to do so in a way that there are minimal to no casualties on both sides. I would like to talk things out but I can't just yet. ' said Amber.

' She needs to beat three of the higher ups before she can get a meeting with them to speak. That will be the deciding factor on if we go to an all out war or settle things peacefully. ' said Jane.

' Don't worry Amber. We all have your back in this. Whatever you need.' Said Bète Rick. Everyone quickly agreed.

' I even know some other packs around here that would be willing to help if it comes down to it. ' said Alpha Lucas.

' Thank you all so much. ' said Amber.

" This is a very serious situation. I would like to offer my help as well. Whatever you need, whether it be food, clothes, water or having more guards to fight. I would like to be of help. ' I said.

" Thank you Alpha Kurt. I will keep that in mind and let you know if it ever comes down to that. ' said Amber.

Man, it still feels weird for one of my childhood friends to call me Alpha after so many years. I don't know if I will ever get used to it.

' Don't put so much pressure on yourself to handle this sweetie. If you need help with paperwork of simple chores around the pack. Don't hesitate to ask for assistance. I know that all of us would be more than happy to help. ' said Alpha Lucas's mate.

" I'll make sure to keep that in mind. Thank you. Now, I have many preparations to make. Thank you all for your time. ' said Amber.

We all gave her our support and goodbyes before the entire meeting ended. I looked at Cassandra and my mother. Both of whom looked determined.

" Let's get our pack ready in case they come for us as well. " said Cassandra.

" Only tell the three in command and their families so as to not frighten anyone. " said my mother.

I nod. " We will need to tell all the guards though. I'll call a meeting with them all at one. " I said.

" Good thinking. " said Cassandra.

A thought then crosses my mind. " What about our wedding planning?" I ask.

She smiles at me. " We will get to that in due time. Right now Amber and our pack need all of our attention. " said Cassandra.

I felt a bit disappointed. " I'm still going to treat you to the wedding of your dreams when all this is over. " I said.

She walks up and crouched down by me. A soft smile on her face and her eyes full of love. " Kurt, I don't need an extravagant wedding to be happy. All I need is you. " she said.

Those words just about melted my heart. I press my forehead against hers. " Whatever you want. " I said.

She smiled and connected our lips in a kiss. Maybe things will turn out all right. After all, all we need is each other to be happy.
