Alpha Conan's POV.

The two humans shared a smirk, thinking they have the upper hand. I can't help but to wonder what they could have been taking about while we were gone.

Amber seems pretty confident about this. I wonder how she plans on doing this. She was a brilliant actor when we interrogated the other human. Knowing these humans, they might have already takes to each other about Steve's interrogation so he may be expecting some type of trick.

We talked through what we were going to do. I'm going to have to do some good acting too. I only hope my acting will be perfect enough to trick them. We lead David to the interrogation room and sit him down in a chair that is sat in front of a table and cuff him to it.

Amber backs up and sits in the chair across from him. " Before we get started, do you want any food or water?" Asked Amber.

If he was surprised by her question he didn't let it show. " Some water would be nice. " he said.

A guard left the room to go get the requested water. Rick and I stand in the back looking as intimidating as we could. I look at David and I can see in his eyes that he has something up his sleeve.

" David, I wish to know what your plans for my pack are exactly. " said Amber.

" Why should I tell you anything? " he said.

" Because it's in your best interest to. You don't want to remain in my prison forever, do you?" Asked Amber.

He sits back in his chair with a small look of anger. " I'll take your silence as a no. We will come up with your sentence for your crimes against my pack once you tell me everything you know and what your plans were. I'm not your enemy David. " said Amber.

" You werewolves think you're so smart. You act all kind but inside you're just mindless beasts. " he spat in anger.

Amber sat back in her chair as well as the guard walked in with a bottle of water. David seemed to like that more than a glass of water since it was still sealed.

He helped himself to some water once it was set in front of him. " What is your issue with werewolves? Why do you hate us so much?" Asked Amber.

" You killed one of my friends in front of me. Isn't that reason enough?" He said.

" I know that there's more to it than that. I want to know why you are so against us. I want to know what we can do to get you to trust us. " said Amber.

" I do t have to spill my guts to you. We aren't friends. " said David.

" Doesn't matter. It's in your best interest to be honest. We have many different ways to get someone to talk and we don't want to use any of those ways on you. " said Amber.

David sneered at her. " Threatening me I see. Well, you wouldn't be the first. " he said.

Amber fixed herself with a very confused look as David shot me a small look. " What do you mean I wouldn't be the first to threaten you?" She asked.

" It seems not all your followers actual trust you. " he said.

" What do you mean by that? Did a member of my pack harm you in any way?" Asked Amber.

" I was not harmed but another wolf did take me to this very room and threaten me. " said David.

" I never allowed that. I wouldn't have allowed that unless I was there to oversee it. " said Amber.

I can feel a pang of guilt at her words. I do feel bad for doing what I did without her permission but I felt as if it was something I had to do.

" Well I was rudely pulled into this room the other night and was threatened. I asked if they had talked to you about it and they said they didn't need your permission. " said David.

" Tell me the name of this person and I will make sure they are punished for what they did. I don't allow this in my pack. " said Amber.

" He's in this very room. Standing to the right behind you. Your former Alpha actually. " said David.

Amber's eyes widened and her head turned in my direction. " Alpha Conan? " she asked before looking back  at David. " You're taking me that Alpha Conan threatened you?"

David nodded and looked as innocent as he could. " Yes. He was very threatening and said he would kill me if I hurt any of you. I'm in a prison cell. What could I possibly do? There was no reason to threaten me. " said David.

Amber turned back towards me and the anger I saw from her almost made me flinch back. I could tel that she was faking it but she was just such a great actor that it was hard not to believe she was really angry with me.

I looked at her with a look as if I was a child caught with my hand in the cookie jar. " Conan, is he telling the truth? Did you go against my wishes and threaten him without my permission?" She asked with authority.

I could tel she put her Luna power into the question and this time I did flinch back. It's been so long since someone has overpowered me with just their voice.

She must be using it on me to get me to react the way David thinks I will. I felt as if I have no choice but to answer her truthfully. Rick looked startled by this as well. His reaction was genuine.

" I-I did. " I managed to get out.

She let out a growl. It made me flinch back  again. " How dare you go against me Conan. " she said walking up to me.

I felt compelled to apologize. " Why would you do this? You have potentially ruined everything I've been trying to do, the trust I was trying to hold between myself and the humans. " she growled.

David shot me a smirk of victory. I lowered my head and tried to stutter out an apology. " On your knees!" Growled Amber with such power I let out a small whine and collapsed to my knees by her overwhelming power.

" Luna Amber, don't you think you're going too far. " said Rick.

I couldn't bring myself to look up at Amber. I merely stared at the ground. " Quiet!" Said Amber to her father.

He flinched back and his mouth closed right away. His eyes wide in complete shock. " We will be talking later about this. I am greatly disappointed in you Conan. I thought you had changed. I guess I was wrong. " said Amber.

David smirked again before sobering up and getting ready to talk to Amber. " I do t feel safe talking about any of this with him in the room. I will gladly tell you a few things if you were to arrest him as well. Threatening a human who is already in a prison is a crime to me. " said David.

Amber turned to look at him. "  You wish for me to put him in a cell as well? What exactly did he say to you to make you feel so unsafe?" Asked Amber.

" He pinned me against the wall and threatened to rip my throat out of I was to try and trick you in any way. It seems to me that he doesn't trust you to handle this problem on your own. What he did is considered assault. I was in cuffs. I think putting him in place and a few days in prison would be punishment enough for his crime. " said David.

Amber growled again and I had to struggle not to whine again. I felt like a child in trouble. Amber can be truly terrifying if she wants to be and right now she was playing her role perfectly.

" I am so sorry he did that to you. I never would have allowed that. He will be punished accordingly for his crime. I will take your statement once he is taken out of the room and we will have to continue this talk after he has been placed in a cell. " said Amber.

" That would make me feel a lot safer. I am willing to work something out with you as long as he pays for what he did. " said David.

" Then we are in agreement. Guards, take Conan to the next floors interrogation room and he is to be cuffed and left for me to talk to him once we are done here. " said Amber.

They did as told and walked up to me and pinned my arms behind my back. They yanked me to my feet and led me out the door and down to the next floor down and to the interrogation room.

They did as told and cuffed me with plain metal cuffs to the table and then left to stand outside the door. Without her overwhelming presence here I felt as if I could relax for a moment. I let out a shaky breath. I was kind of glad Connor didn't join us for this. I feel humiliated being forced to my knees like that. A former Alpha reduced to nothing but a trembling mess. It would be very embarrassing for my son to see me in such a way.

It was humiliating enough for Rick to see me like that. I wait there for what felt like hours before the door opened and Amber and Rick walk in.

She right away walks over to me and frees me from the cuffs. I can't make myself look at her with how humiliated I feel right now.

She crouched down in front of me and takes my hands gently. " I am so sorry for how I treated you. You didn't deserve that and o feel so bad for making you get on your knees. Please forgive me for my actions?" Asked Amber.

I'm not sure what to say so I simply nod. " Please look at me?" She asked.

I lift my head up to do as she asked of me. She looks near tears. My eyes widen. " Why are you upset?" I ask her.

She blinks and a single tear runs down her cheek.  " I feel bad for hurting you. That's not the kind of Luna I want to be. I don't want to abuse my powers. I'm so sorry. " she said.

I reposition our hands to where I'm gently holding hers in a comforting way. " Sweetie, it's ok. I just wasn't expecting what you did. I felt humiliated. I'm ok though. You didn't hurt me and there is nothing to forgive because you didn't do anything wrong. You were wonderful  in there and you needed a genuine reaction from me. It's ok. " I tell her.

She nods and a few more tears run down her cheeks. " I'm sad to say I need a favor from you. " said Amber.

" You need to put me in an actual prison cell for a while don't you?" I ask.

She nods. " He's going to want to see you in a cell which means you will be placed in a cell across from him. It was his request in exchange for more information later. I agreed. " said Amber.

" How long do I have to stay there?" I ask.

" Just until I get as much information from him as I can. " said Amber.

" Very well then. I'll agree to it. " I tell her.

She smiles sadly at me. " He told me a few things and it turns out there are multiple leaders to the werewolf hunters. He is just one of them. He didn't give much else away but he insinuated that the others were far more dangerous than he and his group were. " said Amber.

" Just me being in a cell across from him couldn't have been all he wanted right?" I ask.

" He said he knew that the upper cells had no silver in them which means you could escape easier, so he has requested that you also be placed in silver cuffs and we put silver paint of the bars. " said Amber.

I winced. " We won't do it if you say the word. This is completely up to you. If you choose that you don't want to do this than we can find another way to get answers from him. " said Amber.

I sigh and think through this for a few moments. " I will do it but for a different reason. " I tell her. She tilts her head in confusion. " I have done a lot of bad things these past few years and I've hurt a lot of people, including my own son. I haven't paid for my bad deeds only because I was the Alpha at the time. I am willing to do this as a way of redeeming myself further. " I said.

Amber looked shocked. " But your mind was warped by the wolfsbane. You weren't in control of what you did. You shouldn't be punished for that. " said Amber.

" My mind was warped by Wolfsbane when I killed Fenris's mate and unborn child. I have no excuse for that. " I said

Amber didn't know what to say about that. " Let me do this. I want to help. " I said.

She nodded finally and sighed. " Ok then. I'll let you say goodbye to dad and then we need to get you in that cell. " said Amber.

I nod and get up. I walk over to Rick and give him a huge hug. " It was so good seeing you. Please stop by on your way home so I can see you one more time?" I ask.

" I'll try my best. I promise. " said Rick.

" Very good. Thank you for helping while you were here. You guys travel safely today. " I tell him.

" We will. I love you Conan you are doing so well at becoming a better person. I'm proud of you. " said Rick.

" I love you too my old friend. " I said.

He smiled and I turned to Amber who now had on gloves and was holding silver cuffs. I smiled sadly and walked forward and held my hands out. She cuffed my wrists with those cuffs and I couldn't stop the hiss of pain that left my mouth at the sudden burning pain.

" I know. I'm sorry. Let's get going. " said Amber.

Together they walked me over to the floor the hand were on and it was clear the guards had already coated the bars with silver paint. They opened the cell and placed me in there before closing the cell and locking me in.

" There, you will stay here until further notice. Your trial will be held in a week. Clothes will be brought to you and we will make sure you have the proper accommodations. This is punishment for your crimes. Think through what you did. " said Amber before she and Rick gave me one last look before leaving.

Once they were gone I turned to see David and Steve were smirking at me. Once they were sure Amber was gone they started laughing like this was the funniest thing they had ever seen.

" I can't believe she agreed to this. She's so easy to manipulate. " said Steve.

" That's what happens when you're just a kid. " said David.

" I don't regret what I did. I won't apologize for it. " I tell them.

" Good. More ammo for us to use. This is just the beginning former Alpha. Now, let's get to know each other better. " said David with a smile as if he won the lottery.

Well then, this is defiantly going to suck.
