John's POV.

I've officially decided who I'm picking to be my therapist. As much as I liked Penelope, Jasmine seems like the best choice. I've already sent an email to Penelope to let her know and thanked her so much for her cooperation and patience during all my questioning.

Now I'm currently writing an email to send to Jasmine. I've sent emails before but never one for myself. It's a bit weird but it's something I could get used to in the future.

Once I finished the email I sent it to her. I then closed out the computer and sat back in the chair I was in. I had another nightmare last night and it caused me to be awake through half the night. I'm exhausted.

I know I wouldn't be able to take a nap though. My brain is to wired throughout the day and I can't relax enough to actually take a nap.

I get up out of the chair and leave the room I'm in. I head down to our little kitchen where my parents should be with Alpha Grace. Today we're going to add my wolfs paw print to the little stepping stone my family brought with them that already has their paw prints and Amber's.

Once I walk into the kitchen they look and smile at me. " Everything turn out good?" Asked my father.

" Everything should be just fine. I sent the emails and know I just have to wait for them to respond. " I said.

" Good. I'm proud of you. " said my father.

" As am I. " said my mother.

" Thank you. " I responded.

" Come on. Let's enjoy and little snack and some coffee before we get started on the stepping stone. " said my father.

" While you three do that. I've got to go visit someone in the pack. " said Alpha Grace.

Concern filled me. " Is everything ok?" I asked.

" Everything is fine. It's Alaina. She's is starting to feel contraction and I promised her I'd bring some nice calming music and some tea to help her relax as she works through this. " said Alpha Grace.

My mother instantly perked up. " Does she have a mate?"

" No, Alaina came to us about five months ago. They'd been banished from their pack after being wrongly accused of having relations before marriage. What they didn't know was the two of them has already gotten married and we're getting ready to tell people when these accusations started. They ended up alone in the woods and he ended up getting killed by rogues by protecting her. She almost lost her baby due to the stress of losing him. All the ladies in the pack have been so welcoming to her and I promised I'd be by her side when she gave birth to the baby. " said Alpha Grace.

" That's so kind of you. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. " said my mother.

" I sure will. You can come with me if you'd like. " offered Alpha Grace.

My mother looked at me as if asking for my permission. " Go ahead. Dad and I can do the stepping stone. " I said.

She hugged me and kissed my forehead. " Thank you John. I love you. " she said.

" Love you too mom. " I said.

She then left with Alpha Grace and I smiled and looked at my father. " Have you met that lady before?" Asked my father.

" Yes, she's been staying here a few nights a week as she gets closer to her due date. " I said.

" she would be closer to the doctor that way then. " said my father.

I nodded. " Exactly. Alpha Grace is going to stay by her side until he water breaks and then they'll bring her back here where she will have her child in the safety of the pack house with the doctor by her side. " I said.

" That's very sweet of Alpha Grace to do that for her. " said my father.

" Alpha Grace is a kind woman. Different than any girl I've ever met. " I admitted.

He smiled at me and we drank our coffee together and began to talk about thing going on in our home pack.

Once we were done we went to do the stepping stone outside. While my father set it up I went to a stall and shifted. I walked back over with my hurt hand lifted off the ground.

It's actually been bugging me a bit this morning. Upon walking up my father seemed to notice right away. " Which paw do you want to use?" He asked.

' We can use my hurt one. Just be gently pressing it in. ' I said over mind link.

He nodded and got ready. He poured the remaining cement into the last spot and then led me over. Once it seemed steady enough and the rest was smoothed out by my father the way he was shown. He led my hurt paw to it and pressed it gently into the cement.

It didn't hurt and the cement felt pretty weird. Once finished he helped me wash off my paw before I left to shift back and change. Once I returned I looked to see him holding out a small tool for me to carve my name just below it.

It did just that and then we stood back and admired it. It officially had all four of our paw prints and names below it. It looked amazing. I can't wait to go home one day and get to see this in front of my parents house.

Todays been good so far. " Let's get you in and do whatever treatments you need for your hand. " said my father.

" Sounds good to me. " I said.

We then turned and walked back into the pack house, leaving the stone outside to dry.
