Reuniting

A/N Shoutout to @datblonde17 for the awesome cover.

Harry was lying on his side watching Robbie sleeping. He reached out and brushed the hair from Robbie's closed eyes. For the first time he noticed that Robbie was sleeping very peacefully, without the help of the pills he usually took.

He traced Robbie's face with his fingers, moving them gently along his lips. His eyes fluttered open.

"Hey," he mumbled.

"Hi. How you doing?" Harry whispered.

Robbie stretched. "I feel pretty relaxed. Best sleep I've had in a while."

"I noticed. I've never seen you more relaxed."

They kissed, then they lay back, just looking at each other.

"So now you know," Robbie said while touching Harry's arm. "I have to admit, it's kind of a relief. I feel so much better now that you do."

"Me too," Harry said, his hand still on Robbie's face. "I still feel bad for thinking the worse from you."

"It's okay," Robbie sighed. "I'd have done the same thing."

"But in my defense," Harry said. "It wasn't that hard. You seemed like you had a wicked streak in you when I met you."

Robbie pouted. "I still do, don't get it twisted. I'm still wicked. I like my fun."

"Tell me."

They kissed for a while.

"So what now?" Robbie asked. They lay close, fingers entwined, legs wrapped together. "Where do we go from here?"

Harry gazed into his eyes. He could do that for a long time. "I think I'll take you up on that offer of living together."

"Cool. Wanna live at my place or yours?"

"We'll work out the details later," Harry said. "But wherever we live, we'll have to share the expenses. Meaning that you'll have to stop keeping up with the Kardashians and get a job."

Robbie rolled his eyes and groaned. "Seriously?"

"Yeah, that's how we do it in the real world. We work for our money."

Robbie pouted. "Fine. Father always wanted me to work at his company, I guess that'll do."

"Good. And that reminds me, we'll have to talk to your father about us," Harry said. "He'll never believe this, I hope he approves."

"Do that whole meet the parents thing, huh." Robbie said. "Sounds good to me."

Harry pulled Robbie closer and held him in his arms. "I can't believe this, I really can't," he said. "All of this happened so fast. One minute your dad is telling me to look out for you, and you ended up walking right into my heart and soul."

Robbie smiled at him. "You already did that when you picked me up at the airport, that first time I saw you. I think this is what you call fate."

They began kissing. Robbie rolled over on top of Harry and kissed him around his face and neck. Harry responded with all the pent up passion he had struggled to keep buried for so long.

Later while Robbie slept, Harry slid out of the bed and pulled on his pants. He was going to run over to his place to get a few of his things. He planned on staying over at Robbie's for tonight. They were going to have to figure out some things for their future. But they had plenty of time to work it out. He wasn't worried. In fact, he felt ridiculously happy at the idea. Him and Robbie. A pretty hot team.

He leaned over and gave Robbie a kiss on the forehead, then tiptoed out of the room. Maybe he'll go out and get some takeout for them.

As soon as Harry opened the door he found someone standing outside of his apartment door. He wore a black pea coat. His back was to him as he tapped on Harry's door.

"Hey," Harry said. "Can I help you? That's my place." He didn't know anyone that would be paying him a visit. There was something familiar about this person.

They turned around and smiled. "Hey, Harry. Long time."

Harry froze, feeling his happiness fade away. No wonder he seemed familiar.

It was Liam, Harry's ex. The one that smashed his heart to a million pieces when he left him for that job in Paris.

The one that made him give up on love.

"What are you doing here?" Harry managed to say.

Liam looked surprised. "Don't I get a hello?"

"Hi," Harry mumbled, feeling numb.

"Hi? That's it?" Liam chuckled. "After everything we've been through? I don't get any love?" Liam came closer and gave him a hug. Harry didn't respond. He was rooted to the spot.

"What are you doing here?" Harry repeated. That was the million dollar question.

Liam looked into Harry's face. "I don't get a kiss?" He tried to kiss Harry but he turned away. "Okay I get it, you're mad. But I missed you. I couldn't stop thinking about you the entire time I was in Paris."

Harry didn't know what to say to that.

"So anyway," Liam went on. "I decided to come back to you. We can be together again. Just like old times. I'm all yours now."
