"Live together?" Harry was surprised at Robbie's proposal. "Seriously, live together."

"Yeah, that's what I said," Robbie said a little impatiently. "I didn't stutter. We love each other, right? So why not?"

Harry shook his head. He could think of a million and one reasons why not. The drama would never stop. Forget about his studying.

"It makes perfect sense when you think about it," Robbie went on. "No more deciding which place to spend the night. Plus you don't have to worry about the rent. I'll take care of you." He snuggled closer to Harry. "Well, I really don't do cooking and cleaning--"

"Tell me." Harry still had the image of Robbie's trashed apartment in his mind. Growing up with maid service didn't teach him to clean up after himself.

"Shut up. Anyway, you know I can do other things." He ran his finger along Harry's jawline. "So what do you say? Wanna move in mine or let me move in yours?"

Harry ducked his head. He had to admit, the offer was somewhat tempting. Being able to sleep with Robbie anytime could be exciting. But there were too many doubts. He had to be realistic. "I don't know, this is a little too fast for me. We really hadn't known each other that long, or that well."

Robbie scoffed. "Seriously? We don't know each other? How many times have we screwed each other blind? How many times have we sucked each other off? And now we don't know each other? Really?"

"Alright, I get it," Harry looked away embarrassed. "It's a big step. What about your dad?"

"What about him?"

"He wouldn't like it."

"So? You're scared of my dad now? Jesus, grow a pair."

"He's my boss." Harry said. "I don't want to piss him off."

Robbie rolled his eyes. "So you're worried about your damned job?"

"Hey, that damned job pays my bills and school." Harry found himself raising his voice. "I don't have a rich daddy like--" He stopped himself from talking when he saw the anger flare in Robbie's eyes.

"What? What?" Robbie said.

"Nothing." Harry wished he had just kept his mouth shut.

"Go ahead," Robbie said in a cold tone. "You were saying something about a rich daddy. You wanna tell me what you mean by that?"

"Just forget it."

"No I won't forget it," Robbie was beginning to get loud. "You brought it up so we're going to finish it."

Harry sighed and rubbed his eyes. He sorely regretted the last ten minutes of this. "Well it's the truth, isn't it? You don't have a job yet you're spending money left and right in expensive stores and nightclubs. Meanwhile I'm busting my ass in a job that barely pays my rent."

"Ohhhh, so I'm just a rich spoiled brat to you, huh? Living off of Daddy's money huh?"

"You said it, not me."

Robbie looked hurt for a moment, then yelled. "Well fuck you too!" He climbed out of the car in a huff, slamming the door behind him as hard as he could. Harry winced, praying the windows wouldn't break. He couldn't afford to replace them. Luckily they just vibrated.

Harry stared after Robbie's retreating back. "Shit." he muttered. He climbed out of the car and ran after him. "Robbie!"

Robbie was already several feet ahead of him, marching down the road as if the devil was chasing him.

"Robbie!" Harry had to run to catch up. "Wait!"

Robbie stomped on. "For what? More insults? Screw you!"

"Robbie!"

"Mister 'I have my school to think about'." Robbie mocked him.

Harry managed to catch up to him. "I do," he huffed, out of breath. "I told you."

"Yeah, no kidding," Robbie sneered. "I heard it so much I can set it to fucking music."

Harry tried to take his arm but Robbie snatched it away. "Don't touch me." He marched ahead. Harry rolled his eyes and raced after him.

"Robbie, dammit, talk to me." Here's another good reason, Harry realized. Robbie could get mad over any little thing. He didn't think he could handle this kind of drama on a daily basis. "Robbie!"

Robbie suddenly turned to him with a glare. "I told you I loved you. Does that mean anything to you? Huh? Does it?"

"It does." Harry reached out and touched his cheek. Robbie didn't pull back. "You know that."

"So what's the problem?"

Truthfully Harry didn't know what he wanted. He missed his old predictable life but he knew now there was no way he could go back to it. He wanted to be with Robbie. Life with him was crazy and exciting and full of passion.

"Is it your ex?" Robbie said. "You miss him?"

No, Harry thought. Ever since he met Robbie he hadn't given Liam a single thought. He should be grateful to the kid for that. Robbie relieved him of many long nights of pining away for Liam, and replaced it with pining away for Robbie.

No, he was over Liam. And truthfully right now Harry didn't know what he wanted.

"I don't know that much about you." Harry said.

Robbie rolled his eyes. "Well gee, where do I start? I was born on September thirteen in England. Next question."

"What happened in London?"

"Ask another one."

"See, that's what I'm talking about. You're full of secrets that could bite me on the ass later on."

Robbie threw out his arms. "It's got nothing to do with you."

"What about those pills?" Harry remembered that prescription bottle he found at Robbie's with his name.

"Those aren't your business." Robbie folded his arms. "I don't ask what's in your medicine cabinet."

"And then there's your dad."

"What about him?"

"Do you think he'd approve of us?"

Robbie didn't answer. They just stood there feeling the wind pick up. At that moment Harry just wanted to go home.

"Come on, Robbie, it's late and it's freezing." He took Robbie's arm. "Let's just go home. We can talk about this later."

Robbie allowed Harry to lead him to the car. They drove to the apartment building in silence.

When they pulled up in front of the building Harry turned off the car and sat back. There was only one street light on so most of their street was dark. So was inside the car. He could hear Robbie unclick his seatbelt and scoot closer to him, then began kissing him. Harry leaned back and allowed Robbie to kiss and fondle him. He enjoyed the attention, it felt so good. He felt Robbie's head moving along his chest, then down toward his belt.

Harry watched him undo his clothes. They shouldn't be out here, it was cold out. He didn't care, he wanted to.

But something nagged at him. Harry stopped Robbie from unzipping his pants and pulled him up. "Wait a minute."

"What? You wanna take this party upstairs?" He could see Robbie smiling in the semi dark. "Let's go to my place, I've got some of this new--"

"Robbie, listen," Harry said, moving his hands off of him. "Stop, don't."

Robbie kept on caressing him. "Changed your mind about the living together?"

"No, stop." Harry sat up and straightened his clothes while Robbie moved back in his seat. He could hear him sigh impatiently.

"What's the problem now?"

"Do you really want us to live together?" Harry asked. "Do you want us to have a serious relationship?"

He heard Robbie exhale sharply. "Well yeah. What have we been talking about?"

"I will do it," Harry said. He felt Robbie move closer but he held him off with a hand. "when you tell me about London."

He felt Robbie back up quickly.

"Tell me what happened," Harry said. "Or I'll ask Paul. Remember him from London? I met him the other day."

Robbie was quiet. In the semi dark Harry could see his eyes widen.

"Either you tell me," Harry said in a firm voice. "Or he will. Your choice. Until then, we won't be doing anything."

Robbie turned and climbed out of the car, again slamming the car door. Harry watched him stomp into the building.

Harry sat in the car for a moment, feeling the inside turn cold. He felt bad for Robbie, but who was he? There were so many sides to him. The fun loving side, the sexy side, and the vulnerable side. These were what he saw.

But there was the side he didn't know.

If Harry was going to risk everything for Robbie, he needed to know everything about him, including Paul.
