I just wanna note, he really had a much more purple blue fur back then. some time after he had this skin colour:

(That was from the time where his character wasn't as well thought out and he still had the ability to cry even though he's a cat XD
Also, damn those giant ears tho ;-; )

And now his fur colour went back into a more purplish tone but got desaturated A LOT from the original first colour:
