Cleo

Cleo was pretty good with armour stands. She enjoyed making art out of them, the zoo she was currently making being a prime example of that. She could weave storylines and form a coherent plot out of them, and while she admittedly wasn't great at Redstone like Mumbo, or building like Grian, or being a leader like Xisuma, she fitted into this server well. It was the first one to accept her, and she adored it for that.

However at that moment, Cleo was struggling to fit a simply armour stand replica of Grian in.

Frustrated, she flung the items onto the floor, none of them falling into the lava she was building Grian in thankfully, letting her take a break. She decided she was going to visit one of her other projects to help her find motivation cause DEAR GOD MOTIVATION CAN BE A BITCH.

She heard footsteps nearby, glancing around to see their familiar admin. He was holding a command block, silently placing it down with a lever on top, looking up and making eye contact with Cleo. He grabbed hold of it, smiling as he started to pull, a confused Cleo frowning as a sharp stab of pain went through her. She shook it off, smiling at Xisuma.

"Hey X!" He didn't reply, another stab of pain going through her body, this time sending her collapsing to the ground, her head knocking against the wall of a building, Xisuma towering over her.

"I'm only trying to help fix you," Xisuma soothed, another burst of pain flashing through Cleo's body.

"I do-don't need fix-fixing," Cleo stuttered, stumbling to her feet with the support of the wall, only for her legs to give way again, Xisuma laughing as she struggled.

"You don't need fixing?" he snorted, rolling his eyes as his face fell. "Cleo, you're a mistake. A glitch. There's a reason Hermitcraft was the only place to accept you, and with the state it's currently in, I'm simply preparing you for another server." If it wasn't for the debilitating pain she was currently in, maybe Cleo would've hesitantly agreed, but she was certain that either Xisuma's logic was severely flawed or he didn't care. This wasn't going to work, this wasn't going to help and this was only going to cause more glitches.

"Stop- stop it- it hurts-" Cleo whispered, only to get no response from Xisuma, instead only pushing the lever even further. She coughed up small splatters of blood onto the floor, staring in horror at her now human arm. Her other one was still grey flesh, but that was rapidly falling off, revealing normal skin below, but it was still raw, unclean, unready. It wasn't natural.

She let out a choked sob, glancing back at her other arm, the skin peeling off and falling onto the ground. She closed her eyes, tears slipping down her face. "Xisuma, this is going to kill me-" she rolled onto her side, closing her eyes, only feeling warm flesh on her face and dried tears, the sound of her heartbeat and Xisuma's footsteps echoing in her ears. Her mind blurred slightly, her focus fading into nothingness, embracing the darkness and preparing for the respawn process like she normally did. But this time, she knew it would be different. If she came out, she wouldn't come out the same.
