Harry slept in earlier than usual and got up. It was about 9, and he had to meet Hermione and Ron at the Three Broomsticks at 10.

He undressed and walked into the bathroom. He looked underneath the sink for a new towel, and he saw a bottle with a note.

He picked up the note and read it.

The whole Slytherin house were rolling in their future graves when you said you owned no hair products. So some of us pitched in to get you something to make your hair look a little better. Call it a present from us, since you're new.

You owe us one- Graham(Head Boy)

Harry reread over the note and felt confused.

"Can't argue with free hair products." He put the note away and picked up the bottle.

The label and some of the information was scratched off, but the instructions were left on the back.

Directions: Squeeze generous amount into hands and rub into damp hair. Blow dry with diffuser attachment on low heat. Comb with wide tooth comb, gently.

"What's a 'Diffuser'? And what's a wide tooth comb?" He gave up and set it on the counter.

He jumped into the shower and washed his hair.

He got cleaned and dressed into some dark blue jeans and a yellow tee shirt. He grabbed his wand and a brown jacket, then grabbed the bottle.

He traveled over to the next room over and knocked on the door.

"Malfoy. Open up. I need your help." He said. He heard a groan, and Draco opened the door. He was still in his pajamas, and his hair looked a mess.

"What's up Potter?" He rubbed his eyes. Harry held up the bottle.

"I got this as a present, and I don't know how to use it. There's weird words in the directions." Harry gave him the bottle. Draco read over it and he seemed excited.

"Come in! I can do this!" Draco grabbed onto Harry and pulled him into the room.

"Get in the bathroom. I'll fix your hair." He told him. The two crammed into the bathroom, and Draco reached under the sink.

He pulled out a blow drier, a weird pronged plastic piece, and a bottle of water.

"Sit on the toilet and hold still." Draco instructed. Harry sat and waited for Draco to stop spraying his hair with water.

Once it was sufficiently damp, Draco put some of the cream on his hands and rubbed it around.

"What are you going to do?" Harry asked him.

"I'll rub this into your hair, then I'll blow dry it with the piece." He grabbed onto Harry's head, and moved the hair around.

Then he grabbed the blow drier.

"Okay. Bent your neck down so your hair is suspended in the air, and just let me blow dry. You'll look great, I promise." Harry reluctantly obeyed, and waited 5 minutes for Draco to finish drying his hair. Draco then used a weird thick wide comb, and combed out some knots.

Harry's hair was all over the place, so Draco made a left side part, and fluffed the hair up.

"You may now stand and witness the masterpiece." Draco stepped out of the way.

Harry stood up and looked into the mirror. His hair was extremely curlier than usual, and it had more volume. He played around with it, and moved it around.

"Wow Malfoy. I'm impressed. I actually like this curliness. It kind of suits me." Harry flashed a white smile to Draco. "Do you think I look alright?"

Draco looked at him and blushed darkly. Harry had put on his glasses, so now he had his black hair against his tan skin, and the yellow shirt contrasted nicely with it. Then the dark denim jeans and the brown jacket went well together.

"Is it just me, or have you actually learned how to wear clothes properly." Draco snickered.

The remark made Harry laugh. "Hermione and Ginny had an intervention. She said that I should start dressing better."

Draco nodded. "I'm glad she did it."

The two stood there awkwardly, and then Harry realized where he had to be.

"Sooo, I need to get going. I've got to meet up." Harry pointed to the exit.

"Oh yeah, right." Draco got out of his way and Harry walked to the door.

"Thanks for fixing my hair. I love it. Bye Draco!" And Harry bolted out of the room.

It made Draco scratch his head. 'Did he just call me Draco?'

Harry booked it down the hall and then stopped running. He walked into the common room and he definitely turned heads.

Someone walked up to him and smirked.

"My name's Graham. I see you're our present." He said. Harry smiled.

"I just found it today. Thank you, and I do owe you." Harry promised.

"Perfect. Get me a butterbeer tomorrow and you and I can talk a little." Graham smiled.

"Sure. We can meet at the Three Broomsticks at 10. Would that work?" Harry suggested.

"Sounds perfect." Graham walked away to his room and Harry continued outside.

He walked down the trail that lead to the array of stores, and he walked into the bar.

He found Hermione and Ron in the back, and sat with them.

"Well well, Harry. I see you curled your hair." Hermione commented. "It suits you very well."

"Thanks. Graham pitched in and gave it to me as a welcome present." Harry smiled.

"Who's Graham?" Ron asked.

"He's the Slytherin Head Boy. He seems nice. He stopped these two guys from breaking into my room and killing me." Harry laughed.

Hermione moved her eyebrow suggestively and Harry shook his head.

"No he's not the person I like. But I do have to take him out for a butterbeer to repay the debt."

Both Ron and Hermione were disappointed, but happy.

"Did he suggest the butterbeer repay?" Hermione asked.

Harry took a sip of butterbeer. "Yeah. He said that I would order him a butterbeer and we could talk a little. I wouldn't read too much into it."

Ron and Hermione both had a shit eating grin, and Harry frowned on it. Ron looked around and noticed someone wearing a Slytherin scarf.

"Be right back." Ron left the table and chased down the Slytherin.

"Hey there, you're a Slytherin right?" Ron asked.

"No shit Sherlock." He sassed.

"Alright. Can you tell me if Graham, your Head Boy, is gay? Or likes guys? I feel like he's gay." Ron asked.

"Hell yeah he's gay. Didn't you know?"

Ron didn't say anything and he dashed back to the table.

"Graham is gay. I asked the Slytherin and he told me." Ron told them.

"No way." Hermione squealed.

"We're still not going on a date. I'm just going to buy him a butterbeer and talk. That'll be it." Harry finalized.

"Sure. So who's your crush?" Hermione asked again.

"I told you I'm not saying." Harry shook his head.

"Come on mate. Please." Ron begged.

"I told you. When I get stronger feelings, then I'll tell you. But for now, you won't know."

The two continued to talk, and they ordered lunch once the time rolled around.

They heard a group of people come in laughing, and Harry looked over.

It was Graham and his group of friends. They got into a large booth and ordered food.

Harry had to admit. Graham was definitely good looking. He had perfectly styled blonde hair, flawless skin, and an all black outfit. He sat with some girls and one looked at him. Harry looked away, and Hermione looked behind herself.

"What is Graham over there?" She turned back and smirked.

"And what if he is?" Harry said. He downed the rest of his butterbeer and ate some of his chips.

He saw from the corner of his eye a couple of girls scramble out of their seats and walk towards him.

The two girls were Slytherins, obviously. One wore a tight mini skirt and a tight green longsleeve crop top. The other wore a black tanktop and jeans.

"Hi Harry!" They greeted in unison. The girls seemed to be twins. They looked identical but had different hairstyles and clothing.

"Hey there. Aren't you the Moore sisters?" Harry recognized.

"Yeah. I'm Katie." The one on the left said.

"And I'm Sarah." The right one said.

Harry nodded but felt a little awkward.

"So how come you are here?" Harry asked after a bit of quiet. He gave Ron and Hermione a pleading glance.

"We were wondering if you'd like to hang out with us tomorrow? We could walk around the lake." They asked.

"I'm sorry. I promised Graham I'd buy him a butterbeer tomorrow." Harry apologized. They seemed a little confused, but then one seemed like she thought of something.

"Well okay. Enjoy your day with him." And the two walked away.

Hermione rose an eyebrow. "Do enjoy your day with Graham. I'm sure he's a splendid head boy." Hermione joked.

"I swear Hermione." Harry sighed. Ron just sat there holding in his laughs.

The trio walked around after lunch and then went back to their dorms. Harry got dressed into some comfy clothes and finished up his homework in the common room.

He couldn't help but feel that people were staring at him.

He grabbed his stack of parchment and turned around to head back to his room. But he accidentally bumped into someone.

"Oops. Sorry Malfoy." Harry apologized. Draco just reached behind Harry and grabbed a book from the common room shelf.

"No problem. Mind if I read in your room?"

"Sure." Harry walked to his dorm and Draco followed.

The dungeons were fairly quiet, so Harry opted to leaving his door open.

He sat on the bed while Draco sat at in the chair, reading.

They heard some giggling, and a girl popped her head into the room.

"Oh. There you are." She walked into the room and handed Harry a note.

"A message from Graham." Was all she said before leaving the room.

Harry opened the paper and read the inside. In neat handwriting was a single sentence.

Wear something cute.

Harry rose an eyebrow but threw the paper in the garbage.

"What did it say?" Draco asked, not looking at Harry.

"'Wear something cute.' A little bit weird if you ask me."

Draco looked up from his book. "Are you two going on a date or something?" He laughed.

"No. I'm just buying him a butterbeer. I owe him for the hair product." He reminded Draco of that morning.

"You do know that Graham is gay?" Draco told him.

"I found out today. I don't really care. I'll just buy him a butterbeer, talk a little, and be done with it. I'm not obligated to go on more trips with him."

Draco nodded. He wanted to say something as well, but decided against it.

"So did you like the curly hair today?" He asked.

"I love it." Harry smiled at him then looked back at his book.

"Maybe you could do my hair everyday?..." He trailed off. "Because I don't have-"

"Of course." Draco interrupted. He cleared his throat. "I mean sure. I can do your hair in the mornings."

"Thank you."

The two stopped talking and read in awkward silence.

Night rolled around and Draco decided he should leave. He stopped by the door and looked back.

"Hey Potter. You know you can call me Draco. That is if you want to." Draco said quietly.

"Sure. Call me Harry."

"Goodnight, Harry."

"Night, Draco."

Harry woke up the same time on Sunday. He jumped into the shower and washed his hair out. Now when it is wet, it was still curly. He put on a thin navy blue sweater and wore some black jeans. He put some money in his pocket and knocked on Draco's door.

"Come this way Harry Potter." Draco bowed very seriously.

"You nerd." Harry laughed. Draco stopped the act and laughed. It only took 5 minutes to finish his hair, and Harry liked the outcome.

"Thanks Draco. I'll talk to you later." Harry waved as he left the room.

He headed out of the common room and to the trail.

He walked into the Three Broomsticks and waited for Graham to show up.

Not too long after, Harry hears the door bell chime and Graham walks in. His hair is gelled back and he's wearing a black, short sleeve button up shirt, and dark blue jeans.

"Hey Harry." He greeted before sitting down at the table.

"Hey there. I ordered the butterbeer not too long ago. So it should be here soon." Harry smiled.

The two got to talking until their drinks arrived.

"Thank you Rosmerta. And might I say you look ravishing as usual." Harry did his normal compliment.

"A pleasure having you here Harry. No one brings in the female customers like you." He grinned before taking an order at another table.

Graham rose an eyebrow and looked at Harry.

"You have something with her? She seems a bit old for you." He laughed.

"Hush. It's just something we have done since I was allowed to visit Hogsmeade." Harry laughed.

"So Harry. Quiditch season is rolling up. Are you going to try out for Seeker again?"

"I think so. It is my last year after all. Might as well try out for the team again."

Graham nodded and took another sip of butterbeer.

"Well I have no doubt you'll make the Seeker position. I mean you have the looks and the body, plus you are the best Seeker in a really long time." He complimented.

"Oh. Well thanks." Harry said a little awkwardly. He averted his eyes momentarily and drank his butterbeer.

"What do you do for fun?" Graham asked.

"Just read and relax. Play Quiditch or just fly around. What about you?"

"Party and fly around. Have fun." He made a little suggestive glance and Harry automatically felt uncomfortable. But he didn't say anything.

"So how come you're friends with Malfoy?" He asked.

"I realized that the things he's done were not of his own accord. His father manipulated him and forced the dark mark on him. So when he apologized for his behavior before, I accepted his apology. Now we hang out and talk and read together. He even does my hair." Harry took a strand of his curly hair and twisted it around his finger.

Graham seemed to roll his eyes a little.

"Aren't you mad at what he did to you before? I mean you got into horrible fights, and his father nearly killed you."

"So? His mother saved my life, and I almost killed Draco once. I didn't mean it, but I nearly killed him nonetheless." Harry told him. He was going towards the defensive side, but he tried keeping his cool.

"Still. I think Malfoy is bad news. He made the Slytherins have a bad name for a long time."

"Draco wasn't the only Slytherin who bullied the other students. There was Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy, and a couple of others I don't even know the names of. And who knows who else bullied the others because they weren't pure." Harry told him.

"Since when do you called Malfoy 'Draco'?" Graham sneered.

Harry had the best idea for what to say. Sure it was probably not the smartest thing to say at the moment, but he said it anyways.

"Since last night." Harry smirked. He finished off his butterbeer and grabbed his things.

"I think I'm going to head out. Don't forget to tip Madam Rosmerta." He rubbed his glasses on his sweater and put them back on. He turned to Rosmerta who was at the bar.

"Bye Rosmerta." He waved before leaving the pub. He felt extremely proud of himself. He felt like his confidence was increasing after awhile of feeling down.

He walked back to the castle and to the dorms. He peeked in and Draco was in the shower.

Harry decided to surprise him, so he sat on the bed and waited for Draco.

5 minutes later, Harry hears the shower turn off and Draco step out.

Draco opens the door and yelps. "Harry! You startled me." He whined. He walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist, and grabbed some clothes.

"I thought I'd surprise you. Plus I wanted to tell you the my little story with Graham." He grinned.

"Sure. Let me just get dressed." Draco went to his bathroom to change then came out and closed his bedroom door. Harry moved to the foot of the bed and sat there cross legged.

"Okay so when Madam Rosmerta gave us the butterbeers I complimented her like I normally do, and he seemed to get jealous. Then we got to talking, and he made comments on my body, which was pretty unsettling just because of the way he said it." Harry started to tell him the story.

"Then he asked me why I was friends with you, and I told him that whole story. And he tried making everything your fault and I got mad. So I argued with him for a bit and then I made the best joke ever, you have no idea. Although I sort of realize that it may have been a dumb idea." Harry said.

"What did you say?" Draco asked.

Harry looked down at his hands and grinned. "I may or may not have said 'Since last night'. And I smirked." Harry said. The two were silent, but then burst into laughter.

"You actually said that! That's hilarious!" Draco cackled.

"So you aren't mad?" Harry asked.

"Hell no. That was great. Although you still didn't have to defend me." Draco told him.

"Shut up. You're my friend, and I don't want people making you out as a bad person." Harry grinned.

The two laughed a little bit, and Harry got an idea.

"Do you want to go and fly around the Quiditch field with me?" Harry suggested.

"Um, sure." Draco agreed. Harry ran back to his room to grab with broom and met Draco in the common room.

As they walked through the common room to the exit, Harry couldn't help but notice some people staring at him. But he decided not to let it get to him.

"We can race around the field." Harry smiled to Draco.

They walked out of the castle towards the field. It seems no one was there, so they mounted their brooms and flew up into the air.

"First one to get to the entrance wins." Harry told him.

"Your on." The two backed up to the back of the pitch.

"On your mark. Get set. Fly!" And they were off.

The two raced, baring advancing on the other. They flew through the air, and it prickled their skin. The two split off in different directions and flew over the castle.

Harry weaved through the towers and under the courtyard. He flew into the air and took a bee line through the middle and the lake was in sight.

Draco tried taking a more direct approach, and he weaved through the towers at a slower speed. He cut through the bell tower, and soon saw the lake.

The two met up again and were flying straight for the entrance doors.

Just as expected, someone opened the doors and saw them flying straight forward.

They opened the doors in an attempt to stop them from crashing, and they both flew through at the same time. They came to a quick stop inside the entrance to catch their breath.

Harry turned to the two girls who opened the door for them.

"Thanks for opening the door. Did you see who was first?" He asked.

"You both flew in at the same time." One of the girls said before walking out of the building.

Draco and Harry carried their brooms back outside and mounted them.

"Damnit. I though I would get the advance." Harry said.

"Let's race back to the pitch, then do two laps and we have to touch down on the 10 meter line. Someone is bound to win if we do it that way." Draco suggested. Harry agreed and they flew up into the air.

Draco started the count down. "Ready. Set. Fly!"

They both flew off and decided to stick together. They weaved in and around the towers, and even took short cuts through the hallways. They knew it was against the rules, but no one was around at the moment to see it happen. They flew through the courtyard and up into the air.

They reached the pitch, and started their two laps. Harry would occasionally get farther than Draco, but then he'd catch up and Harry would be behind. It was a fight for 1st place.

They quickly finished their first lap and was almost done with the 2nd.

As soon as they both finished the 2nd lap, they took a turn towards the nearest 10 meter line. Harry had the advantage because he was able to make sharper turns, but Draco was lighter on the broom, and had a speed advantage.

Harry flew perpendicular to the grass while Draco was flying straight for the line.

Neither of them realized what mess they were about to get themselves into until it was too late.

Draco tried stopping at the line but he ended up turning towards Harry just as he was near the line.

They both collided and fell of their broom and rolled on the ground.

The two laid there for a moment before Draco finally got out of his daze a sat up. They were both on the 10 meter line, and Draco was on top of Harry. He looked down and saw that Harry's glasses were cracked and his eyes were closed. Draco thought he was unconscious until Harry lifted his hands rubbed his head.

"Thank Merlin we didn't fall from up high." He mumbled.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry, but I tried to stop in time and I swerved into you." Draco asked.

"It's alright. But I'm having trouble breathing. Can you get off of me?" He coughed. Draco realized and stood up. He held his hand out and helped Harry.

The two heard someone calling out to them and they turned to the noise.

There were two people running towards him and calling his name.

"Harry! Are you okay!?" They heard a familiar voice ask. They soon realized it was Hermione and Ron. They ran towards them and stopped.

"We saw you two flying and followed you here. What happened?" Ron asked.

"We were racing and we collided." Harry said. He pulled his glasses off and put them close to his face. He pulled his wand out and repaired them. He then put them on and could see again.

He looked down and smirked.

"Guess what Draco." Harry smirked.

"What?"

Harry pointed down to the line he was standing on. "I win." He laughed.

"You little bugger." Draco laughed and playfully punched his arm.

Harry picked up his broom that had dropped and looked at it. Thankfully it was still in tact except for a couple of twigs. But he could fix that easily. He picked up Draco's broom and handed it to him.

"So how did your date with Graham go?" Hermione teased.

"It wasn't a date."

"But did it go well?" Ron asked.

"Nope. I got him the butterbeer, talked for a moment then left. I told you it would be simple." Harry reminded him.

The four ended up spending most of the day together. They laughed and talked, and Harry and Draco even managed to sneak Hermione and Ron into the dungeons and into his room.

They joked and talked a little. Mostly just making jokes, talking about past events, and what they were doing.

Hermione and Ron left early so no one would catch them in the common room, so that left Harry and Draco. They talked and the day passed by quickly. Dinner was served on Sunday, so they quickly ate and got back to the room. They were both tired, so they retired early.

Harry wrapped himself in the covers and turned the lights off. Slowly he fell asleep.
