Harry woke up the next day feeling great. His skin still felt very hot but he wasn't sweating and it felt normal. He climbed into some clothes and slung his bag over his shoulder. He headed to Draco's room and got his hair fixed. Harry and Draco headed out of the dungeons and walked to the dinning hall. Harry felt a tickle in his nose, and he sneezed a couple times.

"Do you feel okay?" Draco asked. Harry nodded.

"I feel great. I just sometimes feel like there's a feather in my nose or something. Just tickles is all." Harry brushed off. The two sat down and piled food on their plates.

Draco glanced over at Harry, and did a double take. He looked at Harry's eyes. Harry realized Draco was staring at him and he looked at Draco.

"Is there something on my face?" Harry asked, feeling his face.

"No. I just noticed that your eyes are really bright today. Brighter than usual." Draco told him.

"Thank you... I guess." Harry said. He knew it was a little animagus resurface. He wasn't too worried about it.

Harry sneezed once again and the guy across from his handed him a handkerchief.

"Thank you." Harry blew his nose into it. He thought maybe there was something stuck in there. He held up the cloth.

"I'll get this washed and then give it back to you." Harry promised him. He stuck it in his pocket and continued to eat.

As Harry ate, Draco nudged him in the elbow.

"Yes?" Harry said.

Draco had a little pouty face. He look almost adorable. "Are you hiding something from me? I feel like you are?"

Harry stopped and avoided eye contact. "I don't understand what you mean." Harry said. He stuffed his face with food. Draco rose a brow but didn't push it.

As Harry ate, he looked across the room. He saw a head of red hair get up and walked over to him. It was Ginny. Harry felt a little nervous. She didn't have any expression on her face.

She walked over to Harry and her hand latched on his ear. He started to pull his ear and pull him out of the table.

"Ow ow ow ow. Let go." Harry pleaded, but her grip was firm. She held on and dragged Harry out of the dinning hall, to some's amusement. Ginny's Gryffindor laughed as she dragged him away.

Once they were outside, Ginny let go. Harry rubbed his ear.

"You've got quite a grip on you." Harry had to admit.

She smiled. "It's a specialty. Now. I've got questions." She tapped her foot.

"Ask away." Harry agreed.

"Did you know you were gay while we were dating?" She asked. Harry shook his head.

"No. I thought I was bi but I didn't mention it because I didn't think it was that important. I actually did love while we dated." Harry explained.

"When did you start to realize?" She asked.

"After we broke up and I had some alone time. I kept thinking and I realized that you were the girl I actually really liked that wasn't physical. And I thought about the guy crushes I had the previous years. It kind of just came to me and I realized it." Harry hid his face in his sleeve and sneezed. "Excuse me."

"Bless you. Now." She smirked. "You like Draco, don't you." She had an evil grin on her face. She looked like the Grinch.

Harry blushed and went to his defense. "What? You're kidding me! I don't." She crossed his arms over his chest.

She shook her head. "Admit it." She said.

Harry walked back into the dinning hall and Ginny followed.

"Admit it!" She laughed. Harry shook his head.

"You've got it all wrong Ginny. Ask Hermione and Ron." He told her. The two split off and Harry sat back with Draco.

"What did she want? She seemed persistent." Draco commented, watching her defeated face walk over to Hermione and Ron and talk to them.

"Don't worry about it. It was dumb. Let's head to Professor Slughorn's classroom. I need to ask him something."

Draco finished his toast and they grabbed their stuff and walked out of the hall.

They accended up the stairs and walked into the classroom.

"Professor Slughorn! I've got something to ask in confidence." Harry called out. Slughorn appeared from the pantry.

"What's on your mind?" He asked. He was holding a cat skull. Harry lead him to the back away from Draco.

"You said you studied dark creatures when you were younger. I've got a question about a particular creature." Harry told him quietly.

"Anything. I've got an arsenal of information in my mind." He offered. Slughorn motioned for him to follow him to his quarters.

The two sat on some parlor chairs.

"Have you heard of a Fox Est Fumo? It means Smoke Fox. A black Maned Wolf that can dissipate into smoke. It's known for sneezing ambers." Harry asked him. Professor Slughorn had a very familiar expression. It was almost the same expression that he gave Harry when he first asked about Horcruxes.

"I know too much about that wretched creature. The question, is how come you know about it?" He asked.

"I read from Hagrid's book and did some searching. It's supposedly extinct, right?"

"People say they are. I doubt it. Magical creatures never go extinct. They just learn how to hide. The Smoke Foxes were discovered a long time ago. After people witnessed their abilities, they set to destroy them. When they realized they couldn't destroy it, they tried to capture them. It took a long sequence of spells, but they managed to make a couple of cages to capture the little devil's. They managed to capture 8 of them, but the rest hid. They buried the cages with the creatures and left them there. But that was a couple of centuries ago. Many wizards that know of their existence say they died, but I think they're still alive." Professor Slughorn explained. He seemed very fired up about them.

"Why were they dangerous?"

Slughorn shook his head. "I won't say why. Many of us took oaths to never tell others about their powers, in case someone set out to capture one. All you need to know is that they can release one of the most dangerous blasts when angered. And unlike others, they can control it easily."

Harry nodded. They heard some people walk into the classroom, and they resurfaced.

"I can see you have been keeping to your exercise schedule. You look thinner." Harry commented.

Slughorn smiled. "Thank you. It has been working perfectly. Although I still occasionally have a drink." He admitted.

"It's alright. I guessed you were going to give in. As long as it's no more than a glass of wine a day." Harry left and joined Draco back at their station. The cauldron's had their names on it, and it was from where they left off.

"Continue with your potions. Complete as many steps as possible for stopping." He told them. Harry retrieved the ingredients.

When he came back, Draco threw in the leaches into the pot and the lacewing flied onto the mortar. Harry crushed it up into a paste and then added it to the cauldron. Draco counted out the seconds for it to heat, then Harry waved his wand over the cauldron.

"What's next?" Draco asked. Harry was grabbing more ingredients.

"3 measures of boomslang, 1 measure of bicorn horn crushed into powder, then 20 seconds of heating." Harry repeated from memory. Draco ignored the incorrect steps in the book and did what Harry said.

He got the boomslang ready, and then crushed the bicorn horn. Harry waved his wand over it and let it heat up.

They were finished first, so they turned the heat off and cleaned up their area.

"You finished already? Let me check?" Slughorn said. He wafted the potion and cringed.

"Correct." He nodded. As he walked around, he found some errors. The students around him eavesdropped and corrected their potions, but some students errors were too late. They threw it out and restarted their potion.

Harry and Draco talk for a bit and waited. Once the class was finished, Slughorn taught for while and let them go.

Harry and Draco got dressed and reluctantly headed back to Professor Vince.

Since they walked a little slower, they were one of the last people to show up. Hermione and Ron immediately went to their side and they waited for instruction.

"Today I created a scavenger hunt for you. Everyone get into a group maximum of 4." He told them. Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco stayed together.

He handed everyone a list. "Each scavenger hunt is different, but you will all be retrieving the same things. So your clues, the order, and the place are different. It takes place all over the campus, including the Forbidden forest. But you should only be there for a moment. Use your resources and knowledge to your advantage. You may start."

Hermione immediately read through the first clue.

"'The beginning of something dark, damp, and twisty.' Wow he's bad at making cool riddles." Hermione commented. "We need to get the root of a Devil's Snare. That requires digging."

"I remember where the Devil's Snare is. Follow me." The group followed Harry into the woods.

"Wait a minute. I've got an idea to make this go faster." Draco stopped them.

"Get your broomstick and we can fly around. It's certainly faster than running."

Harry, Draco, and Ron accioed their brooms and waited a couple minutes for them. Hermione climbed onto the back of Ron's broom, and they set off.

The other followed Harry closely behind as he flew through the forest. They arrived to the vine bush and Harry dropped down.

"That's a young Devil's Snare." He pointed to the short bush. It had grown since the day before, which was a little scary.

"So how do we get the root without getting trapped?" Ron asked.

"We can't kill it. And the light won't push it further enough away for us to get the roots." Hermione told them.

"What if we dug?" Draco suggested.

"How? It'll take us ages to get underneath." Ron pointed out.

Draco grinned. "I trust you with my secret." He transformed into a small white fox. He started to dig, and he was able to dg from far away. The three watched surprised as Draco disappeared into the ground.

They waited a couple minutes, and soon Draco was climbing back. He had a root in his mouth.

He transformed back to normal and spat the root out of his mouth.

"One fresh Devil's Snare root." He handed it to Harry.

"Brilliant!" Hermione cheered. She read the next clue.

"Next you must find the thick, black slug that is alive yet not. Beware of contact with skin. Skin is all I need." She read. "That sounds so familiar. I can't think of the word for it." Hermione stressed.

"A Bubotuber. We had to squeeze the pus out in fourth year. He probably wants the skin of the plant." Draco solved the riddle.

"Professor Sprout has a plant like that. I think it's a Bubotuber. Let's just take some of it's skin." Ron thought. The group mounted their brooms and took off into the air.

They soared fast through the air and descended near the Greenhouse. Ron dropped down and ran towards the Greenhouse. He opened a window and looked through. Inside was a class of 5th years. He spotted the Bubotuber, and reached his hands in. He peeled off a layer of skin and closed the window. He ran back to the group, proudly holding the black flabby skin.

Harry took the skin and put it safely inside his pocket.

"What's next?" Draco asked Hermione. She looked at the paper.

"It jut says 'fox'. Maybe he wants us to kidnap a fox." Hermione joked.

"I've got the best idea." Harry grinned. He found a rock and transformed it into a fox. But he left out a personality. He put another charm on the fox, and turned it black.

"Let's give him this. He wanted a fox, so let's give him one." Harry grinned.

Hermione read through the next clue. It took her a moment, but she figured it out.

"He wants a flame." She finished. It was the second to last thing they needed.

Another grin grew over Harry's face. Harry put the fox on the ground and lit it on fire. He used a very tame and cold fire so it wouldn't burn the fox. It just looked like a harmless fire on a fox.

"Kill two birds with one stone." Harry shrugged.

Hermione looked at the last clue. It was a little longer, and there were many negatives in it. Hermione read and reread it multiple times.

"I don't think it's an item. I think it means he wants us to provide him a person. Or a living thing? Read it." She handed the paper to Draco. He read and reread it, and agreed.

"We need to provide something living. What if we provided a student?" Draco suggested.

"Let's give him Ginny!" Ron laughed. "Does anyone know what class she has right now?"

"She has Transfiguration. I can take her out of class and say it's for a project or something. Give me five minutes."

Harry handed Draco the flaming fox and mounted his broom. He took off and traveled to the opposite side of the school. He jumped off his broom and hurried through the school with it in hand. He arrived to Professor McGonagall's class, and opened the door.

"Excuse me?" Harry said. Everyone looked at him. "May I borrow Ginny Weasley? Professor Vince needs to see her." He told McGonagall.

"And for what reason, may I ask?" McGonagall rose a brow.

"Well he made us do a scavenger hunt. The last item is Ginny." Ginny stood up.

"May I go?" She asks. McGonagall nods her head.

"Take your stuff. We're almost done with class." Ginny gathered her stuff and walked out of the room.

"Thank Merlin you got me out. It was so boring." Ginny moaned.

"No problem. We are joking with Professor Vince, so we wanted you to be presented since we need something living." Harry told her. Once they were outside, Ginny mounted the broom behind Harry, and they flew back to the group. Once they touched down, Harry grabbed the fox and handed it to Ginny.

He then gave her the skin and the root to put in her pockets.

"Hand these items to Professor Vince when he asks for them." Harry told her.

"Are we good to go, Hermione?" Ron asked her.

"Yup. We have everything we need." The group mounted the brooms, Harry and Ginny flew tandem. They flew back to Professor Vince and joined the crowd.

They looked around, and saw living things. Some people just took plants or found small woodland creatures.

"I've got the best idea." Draco smiled. He turned to Ginny. "Can you memorize something to say to Professor Vince?"

"Sure. I've got a great memory." Ginny nodded. Draco leaned into her ear and whispered what he wanted her to say to the Professor. She laughed and nodded.

"Alright class. Present your findings." He told them.

The snickering group stayed in the back and waited to be last. Once they saw the rest go, they stepped forward.

"Potter, Granger, Weasley, Malfoy... and another Weasley? Explain." He told them.

Ginny smirked and stepped forward. The fox was behind Draco's back at the moment.

"First, the root of a Devil's Snare plant. Docile when handled correctly." Ginny said very properly. She handed him the root.

"Second, the skin of a Bubotuber. Nothing poisonous, and utterly useless to wizards and witches alike." She handed him the skin.

She walked over and retrieved the fox. It wasn't burning anymore.

She turned around and held the fox.

"Third. One black fox to fill your desire. So that way you do not have to mention it again." Ginny said. Harry walked over and aimed his wand at it. The fox now lit on harmless fire.

"Fourth. Fire, although it is harmless when enchanted." She handed the stiff flaming fox into the Professor's hands. The rest of the class was snickering.

Ginny held her hands out. "Finally, me. A living creature, although it is not specified as which type of living creature. I am the messenger. And I am done passing my message." She concluded. The class roared with cheers and claps. Ginny stood there full of herself.

Professor Vince seemed a little annoyed but did not say anything about it.

"Thank you for the message. Did you miss classtime?" He asked her. Ginny shook her head.

"We were just reviewing the days lesson. Nothing important. I'm already top of my class, so I believe I can afford to miss 10 minutes." Ginny told him. She walked over and retrieved her things from Ron.

"I'll see you later. Bye bye!" She waved as she walked back to the castle.

Professor Vince put the flaming fox down along with the other objects the students gave them.

"You may be dismissed." He told them reluctantly. Harry could feel the glare as he walked away with the others.

"That was hilarious! How did you think of that?" Harry exclaimed to Draco.

"I thought it would be funny. It seems everyone else enjoyed it as much as I."

"Bloody brilliant you were." Ron agreed.

"You definitely put him in his place a little." Hermione agreed.

"Wait until he realizes it's a transfigured rock." Harry reminded them. They roared with more laughter.

Harry and Draco broke off from the group and headed to the dungeons.

They got dressed into another uniform and then headed to Transfiguration.

"You won't tell anyone, right? About the whole digging thing." Draco asked.

"Of course not. I would be lying if I said I did not share the same skill." Harry told him quietly.

Draco grinned. "Show me when we get back. I want to see."

The two walked into Transfiguration and went to their seats. Harry sat next to Hermione and Ron, and they talked for a little bit. McGonagall walked into class and started class.

"Today we will be learning some harder forms of Human Transfiguration. You will be giving others various powers and extra abilities. In addition, maybe some added animal features. You get full creative rights over your partner, and vise versa. Find a partner and I will demonstrate some spells." She told the class.

Ron practically dove for Hermione, which made the others laugh. Harry walked over to Draco and found a cleared space to stand. Hermione used the odd student without a partner to demonstrate.

"Twirl your wand and say 'Avis Alas'." McGonagall twirled her wand and repeated the incantation. Harry watched her wrist, and it did many different turn.

They watched the student sprout bird wings. He moved them around and laughed.

"Can you just demonstrate the small wrist turns you do? You moved your wrist in different directions in a sort of sequence." Hermione asked. She too noticed the wrist movements.

McGonagall exaggerated the movements slowly for everyone to follow, then sped it up.

"Practice on your partner. I will help revert anyone who is not properly transfigured."

Harry turned to Draco. "I'll go first." Harry held onto his wand and aimed it at Draco.

As he spoke, he turned his wrist quickly in the sequence of turns. Right, left, right, right, right, left, left, right, left.

"Avis Alas!" A light flashed and Draco formed wings. He moved them around and gave Harry a thumbs up.

"Now my turn." He aimed his wand and started to move it.

Right, left, right, right, left, left right, left. "Avis Alas!" A different color flashed out of his wand and struck Harry.

Harry sprouted something, although they weren't that visible. He moved something on his back. He left his back, and felt very tiny, life-sized, bird wings. Harry laughed and showed Draco.

"You forgot a turn." Harry told him. Draco giggled.

"They look funny compared to your size." Draco laughed. McGonagall came over and reverted them.

Draco retried the spell and he succeeded. Harry had a pair of matching wings.

"Cool." Harry said as he flapped the wings. He tried to take off, but McGonagall stopped them.

"Not now, Harry." She told him.

Once the class had managed to successfully transform their partners, McGonagall turned to the next spell.

"This spell will make you change your partners hair, eye, and skin color. Whatever you point to, the spell will change it. Just say 'Mutatio' and then the color you wish. Make sure your wand it pointed directly to what you want changed. While this spell is easy to do, it is not commonly practiced because it is suable if someone performs it and messes it up. It takes a very skilled Transfigurist to reverse the effects, which costs money." She explained. She demonstrated it on her test subject and let them try.

"I'll go first this time." Draco called.

Harry removed his glasses and set them down. Draco pointed his wand directly to Harry's eyes.

"Mutatio black!" The spell shot and hit Harry's eyes, although he didn't feel it. Harry looked at Draco and he yelped.

"What happened?" Professor McGonagall asked, noticing the yelp. She walked over and looked at Harry. He smiled.

"It seems you pointed to the white's of his eyes, and not at the iris." She told Draco.

"I thought it would just change his iris." Draco seemed confused.

"You have to be very precise. Mr. Potter, you may want to look in the mirror. It's a little scary." She laughed lightly.

Harry put his glasses. Draco pulled a mirror out of his bag and handed it to Harry. As soon as Harry looked at his reflection he yelped as well.

"I look so weird!" He exclaimed. His bright green eyes stood out tremendously against the black made it look like his iris's were floating in darkness.

"Oh I'm going to have fun." Harry smirked. Draco stood still and let Harry cast his spell.

Harry pointed his wand directly at Draco's iris. "Mutatio white!" The spell was shot and Draco's eyes changed. Now only his pupils were visible, and it looked fairly odd.

Draco looked in the mirror and laughed. "Touché."

The two took turns turning each other. By the time McGonagall called time, Harry had bright green hair, purple eyelashes, perfectly white teeth, and a blood red tongue. Draco ended up with flaming red hair, black eyebrows and eyelashes, red teeth, and a white tongue. They both looked very odd. When Hermione and Ron walked over to them, they looked a little crazier. Hermione had blue skin and pink hair, and Ron had purple skin and black hair.

"Alright. You get to learn one more mutation. This one is only authorized by Aurors, but I am allowed to teach you it. This spell changes a person's personality. Aurors use it for undercover missions or to appeal to witnesses or hostage's. Although they stopped using it because it made the Aurors very apparent that they were altered since the person takes on the exaggerated stereotype. As for the incantation, you say 'Animo' then one descriptor word for the personality. It will go with the stereotype of that word. So you could choose Psychopath or Mom, and it would give you either a deranged or loving personality." Professor McGonagall told them.

She demonstrated the complicated wand, wrist, and arm motions many times. Soon the class had it down and could perform the wand movements.

"Alright. Think of your word and cast the spell."

It was Harry's turn now. "Animo mom!' Harry casted.

Draco jerked and then stopped. His eye's brightened up and he smiled.

"Oh Harry you look so thin. Are you eating enough?" Draco asked him. Harry looked in horror. He hadn't expected this.

"Oh shit oh shit change him back." Harry climbed onto the table. Draco was currently try to pinch Harry's cheeks.

Ron was in the background laughing his ass off as Harry tried to run away from Draco.

"Cast your spell Draco!" Hermione called to him. She was secretly enjoying the scene as well.

"Oh yeah. Animo Sociopath!" Draco casted happily.

Harry froze for a moment but then his face dropped into a resting expression. Draco ran over to him and pinched his cheeks.

"What are you doing?" Harry asked. He had no emotion in his voice.

"Pinching your cheeks, of course. Do you want some food?" Draco asked.

Harry shrugged. "Sure. Let's go." Harry said. The two walked towards the doors. Around them, students acted crazily. Ron turned into the total Dad figure and Hermione turned into a hippy.

"Harry Potter, where do you think you are going?" Professor McGongall asked Harry.

"I don't think I'm going anywhere. I know I'm going to the kitchens for some food." Harry told her.

"Don't disrespect her. If she says you can't leave, then you can't. I can go get you some food." Draco smiled.

"Draco Malfoy. You aren't authorized to leave this class." Professor McGonagall told him sternly.

Draco turned back, and he looked surprised and angry.

"Excuse me. I do believe that I am allowed to do what I want for my son." Draco put his hands on his hips and walked towards McGonagall.

A couple of the unaltered students watched, amused out of their minds.

"Son? He is not your son, and you are not his mother. If anything, I have more parenting rights over him than you." She argued.

"That's a bunch of malarkey! You dare disrespect my parenting abilities!" Draco argued.

As they argued, Harry headed towards the door.

"See ya, fuckers." He said before heading out of the room. A couple caring students ran after him to try and bring him back.

"Wait, where is Harry?" McGonagall asked. He looked around and he was gone.

"He probably left. Oh he's such a troublemaker. Sometimes I just don't know what to do about him." Draco rested a hand on his cheek in thought.

Harry then walked in escorted by two students.

"There you are-" She stopped. The two students handed Harry some money, and he pocketed it.

"What are you doing?" McGonagall asked Harry.

"They offered to pay me to come back to class. So I did. Now I'm leaving again." Harry said as he turned around.

"Hell no. Transformatio Reverti!" McGonagall shot a spell at Harry. He stopped and reverted to normal. He had no wings and his eyes were correctly colored.

Harry turned around and looked a little shocked. "I apologize Professor McGonagall. I don't know what came over myself." Harry took the money and gave it back to the students.

Draco ran over to him and Harry put him in a headlock.

"Please change him." Harry pleaded. McGonagall soon turned him back and Draco blushed.

"I'm sorry Professor. And sorry Harry for trying to pinch you." Draco apologized.

"It's alright. I get caught up sometimes with the personalities."

She walked around and reverted everyone back to normal. No one looked abnormal and everyone acted correctly.

"Homework will be a page on today's lesson. Anything you can think about, your thoughts, or information we learned today. You can leave now." Professor McGonagall dismissed.

Harry and Hermione grabbed their things and headed to Charms together. It was fairly boring, and they mostly just talked quietly in the back.

Harry headed back to the dungeons and stepped in front of the portrait.

"Your birth certificate is an apology letter from the condom factory." Harry told the portrait.

"Nice use of muggle terms." He praised as he opened the way. Harry entered and walked to his room.

When he opened the door, he drew his wand in instinct. Draco was sitting on his bed waiting.

"Geez, you startled me. Your lucky I wasn't zoned out." Harry joked.

"Sorry. But I came as fast as I could so I could see your skill." Draco said. Harry closed the door and locked it.

"Okay, so don't freak out if you recognize it, or if it stirs up something." Harry warned him.

He morphed into his solid fox form. Then he dissipated his body parts and did the head roll trick that he did to Ron. It effectively spooked Draco, but he was intrigued.

"That's so cool. You must be a very powerful wizard if your animagus is a magical creature."

Harry dissipated his entire body to a cloud of black smoke, and he flew around the room, fazing through things. He wait for the rest of his body to catch up and then he turned to normal.

"Cool right. Also when I sneeze in that form, ambers come out. And I guess that when I cough in this form, ash comes up." Harry told him.

"Have you ever coughed in your smoke form? Maybe you breath fire." Draco chuckled.

"Who knows. Anyways, don't tell anyone. Apparently I'm a dangerous animal." Harry unlocked the door.

"No problem. As long as you can control yourself, then it should be fine." Draco agreed. The sat on the bed and started to read.

"I CAUGHT YOU!" Someone yelled. Blaise crashed the door down.

"YOUR HAVING SEX AREN'T YOU!" He exclaimed before looking at them. They were both calm and sitting on the bed.

"I didn't know we were having sex, I would have put my book down." Draco said very monotony.

Blaise laughed when he realized his mistake. And then Harry and Draco cracked a smile.

"Dang. I really thought I got you this time." Blaise laughed.

The three laughed hysterically, and it didn't seem like it would die down anytime soon.

They really were weird together.
