[HARRY'S POV] 3 months later

"You need to be more responsible!"

"What do you mean by responsible?, aren't I good enough for you?".

"You're the only one I trust to keep this company going, I've heard from my sources that you let down Asia's biggest investor, Mu Chen"

I rubbed my hand across my face, as I let out a sigh of frustration, I hated it when he got like this.

" It was for a good reason" I tucked my hand in my front pocket as I stared directly into his eyes.

This wasn't the first time we were having this kind of conversation, it was either investors or the women in my life.... Speaking of women, No, I probably shouldn't, a week, just a week, I silently told myself.

I could do this, I guess. My attention went back to my Dad who was talking about something related to the company, as usual, all he did was complain.

My ears shot up when I heard him mention Kelly.

"..... I told that low life to stay away from you, but I could have known better that she. wouldn't listen...

" You just called her a low life, is that how you look at everyone else that's below you? I care about her a lot... telling her to leave won't change anything" I paused for a moment, trying to show respect for the man " I have to leave now, I'm trying to respect your opinion, I'll do what I must do, but don't expect anything more"

As I walked past him, the feeling of fear washed over me, I didn't want Kelly getting hurt, I didn't know how far my Dad was willing to take I and Kelly's relationship, her happiness mattered a lot to me.

I looked down from the balcony, my favorite wine in my hand, so I wax taking a break, a break from everything that had just happened, a break from work, a break from Kelly... I hated this particular break but I had to do it.

I needed to tell Kelly how I felt about her, the way her eyes lit up whenever she talked, how captivating her smile was and he soft and luscious her lips tasted and felt, but that was all gone now.

FLASHBACK

"Son, you have a lot to learn and I have a lot to teach , seeing that you have lost your senses " My father said with a stern voice.

"I love her , Dad ! " I exclaimed and the room fell silent .

"Love ? " He let out a low chuckle " What do you know about love ? , she's only warming your bed and you call that love ? "

I couldn't listen to him anymore , I stumped out of the room .

What if he's right ?

Did I only give Kelly sex ?

Was that the only thing she was giving me ?

Come to think of it , we never really went on dates , or actually spend time together .

Do I love her ?

I grabbed my phone and called her , but she wasn't answering .

I decided to send her a text.

We need to talk when I get back - Harry.

But she didn't reply, she never did, I tried calling but that was it. The end of it all, I suddenly felt like a fool for actually falling in love with a woman.

I'm Harry Munro, I could get anything I wanted, cars, money, houses, even women but there was one thing money couldn't buy and I let it go.

"Sir, are you sure, you don't need anything else" The waitress spoke softly from behind me.

I turned around and I didn't care anymore.

"There's one thing" I stated as I grinned widely.

KELLY'S POV

"Wow this is just great" I let out a frustrated sigh as I struggled to start my car, this was the third time this week " This is just what I need on a very cold morning".

I placed my head on the steering wheel as I went through how I was going to handle this sh*t.

I heard a light tap on my car window, I lifted my head quickly, I didn't want to kidnapped, that would make my whole day even worse.

But, it wasn't a kidnapper, instead it was an old man wearing a grey cap and black jacket, he let out a warm smile as I opened my car door.

"Excuse me, is there anything I can help you with?".

"Your car is in the way of my garden" I turned to my right and he was right, I was in front of his house and suddenly this felt worse than being kidnapped.

"Oh, you see, my car has a problem, the engine won't start, it was perfect this morning and now" I paused for a moment to check if he was still listening, cause he had those kind of eyes that made a person look like they were asleep when they are awake.

He nodded lightly.

"I don't know what to do".

"No worries, my son is a mechanic, he'll know what to do".

Suddenly a feeling of relief washed over me.

I was surprised at how fast the old man was as he walked back to his house, he didn't even tell me his name, hell, I didn't even tell him my own name.

Few minutes later, I got out of my car as soon as I saw the old man walking towards my car, a tall looking man at his side, his eyes placed on mine as he took a once over at my body.

Did he just check me out?.

I suddenly looked away as I tried to control my embarrassment.

As soon as they reached my car, the old man said " I'm Mr. Darwin, this is my son, Jamie".

"Nice to meet you, Jamie" I offered my hand and quickly took it back "I'm Kelly".

The old man left as soon as Jamie opened the front bonnet of my car, an escape of steam filled the air.

My car is a total mess.

I watched as Jamie opened his tool box which I failed to notice earlier.

Because you were obviously distracted, my subconscious noted.

I silently watched him, having zero idea of what he was doing.

"How long have you owned this car?" He asked, his voice soft but manly.

I felt ice run down my neck, I was intimidated by this guy. Something about him was so scary. I couldn't wait to get out of here.

"For a couple of years"

His head still in the bonnet of my car, he said "A lot of things have to be fixed, I don't think I'll be able to do this in 30 minutes".

"But.... I need it now, I have somewhere to be"

He shot me a look that I couldn't describe.

"You want your car fixed or not?"

I shrugged and nodded.

We discussed when I was going to get my car back, come to think of it, he wasn't so bad after all.

At least he was sweet enough to get me a cab.

I said a low 'thank you' as I watched him leave and got into the cab .

Wow.. This was one hell of a morning.

HARRY'S POV

"That is so messed up".

"What?, shit happens all the time".

"Hooking up with a waitress, I know you're trying to get it out of your system but no, you went too low".

"What do you mean by 'get it out', I'm not trying to get anything out" I took a gentle sip of my French wine as I chatted with my shithead of a cousin, Travis.

"I meant Kelly, you're mad cause she dumped you"

I felt like punching a wall, but Travis's face suddenly looked like that wall.

"I know you're not used to being dumped, but that's life, bro" he continued.

I watched a lady in a bright pink skirt walk by, her skirt inching up her legs with every stride.

"Say what you want to say, I'm done with relationships, sex with no strings, I prefer".

Travis shot me an annoyed look, his eyes went back to his phone and a small smile played on his lips.

"Why do you look like that, is she sending you nudes or something?" I asked and his face reddened.

"I don't know what you're talking about".

"Your face says otherwise" I looked around the bar again "I know you have something going on with my secretary".

He remained silent, sipping his wine and trying his best to ignore me.

"So,have you fucked her yet?" I watched him almost choke on his wine, his face redder than a tomato.

"Damn... you didn't have to be so direct" he ran a hand through his hair " Besides, it's none of your business".

"You know..

" Wait, is that....

I looked at what he was pointing at, my heart dropped to my feet, after all these time, I was still vulnerable.

Damn... She's smoking hot now.
