- When She Met His Parents -

Nina

"Ma! Dad! What are you doing here?"

Uh... say what now!?

I whip my head toward Lucien and gape up at him so fast that I'm surprise I didn't sprain any of my neck muscle in the process. (Yay me!)

"Um..." Lucien looks back and forth between his parents and me, as I find my expression reflect in his face as we stare at them as deer caught in headlights.

Leaning towards Lucien, I grimace and murmur in a hushed tone, "Maybe I should just leave..."

He snaps his head at me and stares into my eyes as if finally reading my mind; taking in my worried and hesitant expression.

His eyes soften as he holds his hand forward and entwines it with mine.

I look down at our linked hand and then back up at him wide-eyed with uncertainty.

"Come with me." He whispers softly as he leads me forward.

Noticing my discomfort, Lucien stops mid-step and tugs my arm softly, turning me towards him as he hugs me loosely, while whispering in my ear, "Relax tesoro. They don't bite... unlike me." He wiggles his eyebrows.

I scowl up at his playfulness as he pulls back only to lean down and kiss me softly between my brows, smoothing the wrinkle formed due to my frown.

As he pulls away, I duck my chin as I feel blush creeping into my cheeks as I turn red; realizing his parents were watching us with their jaw wide open, and their eyes as wide as saucers.

He chuckles at my flushed face and kisses me on my rosy cheek as he leans into me; his lips hovering over my ear as he whispers, "Gorgeous."

I shiver inwardly as my knees slightly buckle; my hands immediately clutching him tighter as he smirks smugly against my ear.

Hmph... That cheeky bum!

I pull away and narrow my eyes at him, playfully as he gives me his half smirk and winks at me, suggestively.

I shake my head at him, smiling softly.

He puts his arm around my shoulder as he leads me forward towards his parents.

Moving closer to them, I finally notice the similarities between Lucien and his Dad who looked like an older version of him except the fact that his Dad had warm brown eyes like Levi as compared to Lucien's green ones; although he also had a crooked nose. He wore a fancy three piece suit without a tie; his dark blond hair styled to perfection.

I turn my gaze towards the petite, curvy woman to his side who wore a big wide smile on her face as she watches us intently with green eyes filled with knowledge. Her olive tinted skin shines against the light as I glance down at her simple attire; a simple white blouse with black wide legged pants and a green shrug with sandals. Her raven black hair was tied up in a messy bun.

"Um, sweetheart?" I turn towards Lucien as he speaks, "This is Lincoln and Serena Cooper; my parents. Ma, Dad, this is Nicolina Stark..."

Before he could utter another word and I could comprehend what's happening, his Mum shrieks out loud, "Aaahh!"

I could merely stifle my gasp as she rushes towards me, practically pushing Lucien out of her way; placing her hands on my cheeks as she pulls my face closer to hers.

"Oh my heavens! I never thought this day would ever come! Holy Jesus! Look at her... she's so pretty! With her big blue innocent eyes and those sweet cheeks. Oh bella, you're so cute. Link baby? Isn't she cute?" She glances at her husband who gives me an apologetic look and nods in response.

I make a squeaking sound at the back of my throat as I look back at his mother wide-eyed; my face turning red.

"Oh look! She's blushing. Mmh, her skin is so soft, so pink." She mumbles, looking at me with soft, warm eyes.

Pulling my face closer to hers, she coos, "I'm Serena Cooper, your future mother-in-law. Nice to meet you, bella."

Uh... what the what?

I gape up at her, my eyes wide open as I look behind her to see Lucien and his father shaking slightly as they burst out laughing at his mother's antiquities as if calling me Lucien's future bride was an everyday thing; y'know like brushing your teeth.

As soon as I catch Lucien's eye, I send him an alarmed and a pleading look. He immediately walks up to me and pulls me into a side hug, rubbing my arms in a soothing motion.

"Stop it, Ma! You're scaring my girl!" Lucien scowls at his mother and kisses the top of my head.

I pull away from Lucien and narrow my eyes at him, "Excuse me!? Your girl!? I am not your girl!" I huff, placing my hands over my hips.

He narrows his eyes back at me and places his hand on the back of my head and states, "Yes you are," then he pulls me into his chest.

I roll my head upwards to look at him and gush sarcastically, "Oh my sweet Lucien, you sure know how to woo a girl!"

I hear his parents snicker at my remark as they cough trying to cover their laughter.

Lucien scowls at me, "Are you going all sarcastic on me?"

I give him my sweetest smile and say sarcastically, "Oh! You can detect sarcasm. I thought we were living in Stone Age where cavemen like you just knew how to growl out, 'Grr. She's mine. Grr. Back off. Grr. Mine!'" I roll my eyes at him.

I look back at his parents and murmur, "Not to be rude, but your son is a total arse."

"Hey!" Lucien murmurs, defensively.

Instead of backing Lucien up or defending him, his parents burst out laughing.

"Gee, thanks guys. You sure know how to make your son feel special!" Lucien mumbles, pouting adorably.

His mother just rolls her eyes at her son and looks at me and murmurs, "I like you, baby girl!"

While his father walks up to me and lifts me up in a bear hug and mumbles, "Welcome to the family!"

Uh... come again?

His father bends down at his knees so that he was face to face with me as he points his index finger forward with a serious expression and starts poking my cheek with it.

Poke. Poke. Poke.

Pause.

Poke. Poke. Poke.

"Um, guys. Random question." I say to nobody in particular, "What the hell is going on over here?" I gesture to the area where his father was still poking my cheek.

"Oh nothing!" Lucien waves his hand dismissively, at the same time his mother says, "Link is just imagining how his future grand baby's skin would feel like."

I feel my jaw drop as I stare at them wide-eyed, turning still as a statue.

I feel Lucien stand beside me and poke my other cheek, "Ma? I don't think she's breathing."

He pulls my face closer to his and mumbles, "Are you okay?"

I shoot him a glare which implied, 'Um... kinda freaking out here! But yeah... thanks for the enquiry, knucklehead!'

His mother rushes to my side and pushes Lucien and his father out of the way and yells, "Stop crowding her, you idiots! Let her breathe. And Link? Remind you son that he's not five-year old any more and walking around in his underwear is not appropriate! God help us! I don't what they would do without me around here!"

My lips curve as I hear his mother scold Lucien, who in response smiles sheepishly at her and runs out of the office with his father in tow.

"All right, bella!" She turns towards me, "Come on now, inhale slowly." I do as she says, "And now exhale. That's right, just like that. Repeat it again."

I take some deep breath as she guides me and smiles warmly at me, "There you are. Sorry for freaking you out, baby girl."

"No problem!" I wheeze out.

She tenderly tucks a strand of hair behind my ear and mumbles, "I know how you feel. Not too long ago, I was in your position when I first met Lucien's grandparents."

"How did that go?" I ask her.

She chuckles, "Well, I kinda freaked out and punched Lucien's father in his nose." Giggling softly, she continues, "I'm the reason he's now sporting a broken nose!"

I gasp loudly and we both burst into fits of giggles.

"Glad you could find the story of my bloody nose amusing!" Lincoln says as he enters the room with his son.

I smile shyly at him, "Sorry, Mr. Cooper."

He chuckles, "Call me Link, sweetheart."

I smile and nod, "Okay."

I gasp when Lucien pulls my arm and hugs me hard. "Can't. Breathe." I mumble into his chest.

He tugs on my hair so that I could roll my head upwards to look at him as he stares back, with his face etched with concern, "You OK?"

I smile at him and whisper softly, "Yeah."

"Thank fuck!" He breathes out and buries his face in my neck as he breathes in my scent.

I murmur in a low voice so that his parents couldn't hear us, "I swear to God, Lucien Cooper; if you make another dirty comment regarding my green apple scent, I will give you silent treatment for the whole week!"

He chuckles against my neck sending vibrations up my spine.

He pulls me and gives me a heated look, "Ooh baby, I love it when you get all bossy."

I roll my eyes and slap my hand over his hair playfully, making him chuckle and wink at me.

"Aww!" We turn at Serena's voice to see her hands over her heart, her head slightly tilted as she stares at us, lovingly, "You two look so cute together!" She sighs happily.

I blush profusely while Lucien puts his arm around my shoulder, as he murmurs, "Naw shucks! It's all her."

He kisses my cheek making Serena squeak out cheerfully.

Lucien clears his throat and looks at his parents, "By the way, what's up with the unexpected visit?"

Lincoln sighs and says, "We were in the area and were about to grab some lunch. Your mum insisted we invite you too."

Lucien shrugs, "Sure. My treat. Sweetheart? You coming?"

And again for the billionth time I feel myself being cornered by three pairs of expectant eyes.

"Um, sure?" As soon as I give my consent Serena pulls me with her as we leave the office, "There are so many things I wanna ask you." She murmurs, excitedly.

"Hold your horses, Ma! She's coming with me. We'll meet you and Dad at the restaurant." Lucien says as he pulls me away from his mother and into him.

"But-" Serena starts but trails off when Lincoln murmurs something in her ears. "Oh? Okay."

"Let's go, tesoro." Lucien whispers and leads me into the elevator.

The elevator opens up to the garage and his parents head towards their car while Lucien leads me in the opposite direction.

"Um, Luke? Wait." I tug on his hand as he complies. "Gimme a sec." I murmur and pull away walking towards his parents.

"Mrs. Cooper?" I say just as they were about to get in the car.

She pauses and gestures Lincoln to go forward while she walks up to me, "Please call me Serena. Calling me Mrs. Cooper makes me feel like an old woman." She grumbles.

"Okay." I chuckle, "Um, Serena, I... um-" I trail off.

"What is it, bella?" She whispers softly.

I take a deep breath and ask, "What does tesoro mean?"

She blinks, "Why do wanna know that?"

I smile shyly and mumble, "It's just that Luke calls me that all the time and I don't exactly know what it means."

"Aww." She sighs happily and gushes, "Tesoro means my treasure. I can't believe he calls you that. I'm so proud of him." She wipes a tear from her eye.

"Thanks, Serena." I mumble and turn around walking back towards Lucien.

My treasure, huh?

I couldn't prevent myself from smiling like a loon as I walk up to Lucien.

He narrows his eyes at me and murmurs, "Um, sweetheart? You okay? Why are you smiling?"

I squeak out loud and jump on him, catching him by surprise. He immediately places his hands on my butt as I wrap my legs around his waist.

I clutch his face in my hands and kiss him soundly on his cheek.

"God! You're so cute!" I mumble as I pull back only to see him blushing at my words.

"Not that I'm complaining..." He starts, "But what was that for?"

I shake my head, "Nothing! I just felt like it." I whisper softly.

He narrows his eyes playfully and pouts, "And you say I'm weird..."

I giggle and kiss his nose, "Yes you are."

He sighs happily and stares back at me with soft warm eyes.

A car passes by us as I see his parents in the back seat hooting and whistling at us.

I groan in embarrassment and bury my face in his shoulders, "I forgot about them."

He just chuckles and starts walking, still carrying me in his arms.

"Where we going?" I mumble into his neck, sighing softly as I let his warm hard body envelope me.

No way am I asking him to put me down when I stay here happily letting his strong arms around me.

He kisses my hair and mumbles, "You'll see."

"Mmh." I mumble and clutch him tighter making him smile against my hair.

"Okay! Here we are." He places me back on my feet as I let out a whimper at the withdrawal making him smirk smugly.

"Ta-Da!" He yells out turning me towards a sleek black motorcycle with lean body and chrome handlebars and tires.

"Oh my..." I mumble in awe.

"She's beautiful, isn't she? My baby." He sighs, running his hands over the leather seat.

I blink innocently at him and mumble cheekily, "Um, Luke? You want a moment alone with her?"

He rolls his eyes playfully and places his hands on the handlebar and coos at his bike, "No baby... Don't listen to her. She's just jealous. Yes she is."

I smile sweetly at him, "You do know that you're just proving my point."

He thinks for a minute then yells out, "Dammit!"

Robert walks up to us out of nowhere and hands us our helmets and walks away, disappearing in thin air.

I think I just met a ninja.

Huh.

I turn around to see Lucien strapping his helmet.

I look at him hesitantly and mumble, "I've never ridden a motorcycle before."

He removes his helmet and gives me a wolfish grin, "Glad I could be your first, sweetness. Don't worry... I'll be gentle." He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively.

I hit his arm and mumble, "Perv!"

He just smacks me a kiss on the cheek and grins, "You know me."

He takes the helmet from me and says, "Allow me."

He turns me towards him and very carefully straps on the helmet. "There!" He smiles widely at me making me suck a deep breath as butterflies erupt in my tummy.

"Thanks." I mumble softly.

He gives me a cheeky grin and straps his helmet back on and climbs onto the bike and spends five minutes just sitting there wiggling his butt trying to find a comfortable position.

"Faster Luke!" I yell at him.

He gives me a wolfish grin and says, "That's what she said!"

I groan out loud, blushing at the innuendo and grumble, "You are unbelievable."

He chuckles, "That's what she said too!"

I hit him in his back making him mumble dramatically, "Ooh baby, I like it when you get rough!"

"Stop turning every sentence dirty, you pervert!" I grumble hitting him repeatedly.

"Okay! Okay! I'll stop!" He holds his hand up in surrender, chuckling while he does so.

"Ooh, I almost forgot!" He quickly gets up and opens a satchel at the side and pulls out a leather jacket and wears it over his shirt.

I let out a low whistle, "Mmh. Very good, Mr. Cooper. Me likey."

He bows down dramatically, "Why thank you, Miss Stark."

I give him a cheeky grin.

Looking at me with a serious expression, he pulls out another leather jacket from the satchel and holds out to me.

"Nicolina Snowee Stark... will you be my biker babe?" He looks at me with his eyes filled with humour.

I giggle softly and whisper, "Of course, you doofus!"

He smiles widely and helps me wear it and zips it up.

"Let's go, shall we?" He whispers and gets in the bike.

I quickly do the same and sit over the leather seat; keeping at least a few inches between us.

"Uh... what you doing?" He asks, looking back.

I give him a 'duh' look, "Sitting on a bike."

"Suit yourself." He grins and turns his head forward and starts the bike.

He revs the engines and pulls out of the garage only to break as soon as we reach the road.

I gasp out loud as immediately I slide forward; my chest pressed up against his back, with my hands around his waist as I feel his chest rumble beneath my hands as he chuckles out loud.

Ugh. That sneaky bum.

"Now. Let's ride." He yells out and pulls us into the road. I squeak and giggle as I wrap my hands around his waist tighter, feeling his hard muscles underneath my hands.

I tilt my face sideways and lay my cheek between his shoulder blades as I watch people, trees around us fly by. The cool air brushes against my skin as I sigh in contentment.

Lucien swerves into a parking lot and turns off the engine.

Helping me get off the bike, he quickly wraps his hands around my waist and asks, "So? How was it?"

I quickly take off my helmet and smile up at him, "It was awesome!"

Making a thinking face, I say, "Now I can tick 'Riding on a motorcycle' off my bucket list." I look up and give him a cheeky grin and two thumbs up.

He narrows his eyes, "You have a bucket list?"

I roll my eyes and mumble, "Who doesn't?"

"Um, every normal person in the world." He retorts. Pulling me closer, he kisses my nose, "Sweetheart, you're such a nerd!"

"Am not!" I poke out my tongue making him chuckle.

I start pulling away from him, only to stop mid-step, "Um... I think my legs are vibrating."

He chuckles and crouches down to look at my legs and murmurs, "Yeah. It happens after you ride a bike for the first time."

He places his large hand over the back of my knee, running his hand up and down my leg.

I quickly back away as my cheeks flushes, "Luke! Stop. I'm fine."

He quickly gets up and pulls my body closer, "No you're not!"

Giving me a heated look, he wraps his hand tighter against me, caging me into him, as he leans down to whisper huskily in my ears, "The only time your legs will shake this hard is when I'm thrusting myself inside you as you beg me to go harder."

Holy...

I gulp audibly as he kisses my cheek and then bends down, running his hands over my legs in a soothing motion.

When I'm thrusting myself inside you...

My subconscious starts dancing to Gangnam Style in my mind as my every other sense go blank; my mind fantasizes about Lucien and me doing 'stuff'.

Dirty stuff.

I immediately shake my head to clear my thoughts.

Bad, bad Nina!

"You okay, cara?" Lucien asks, as he stands up again.

"Yeah." I squeak out immediately in a high pitched voice.

He grins at me knowingly and wraps his arm around my shoulder and leads me forward.

We enter the elevator which leads us to the restaurant on the twentieth floor and walk up to the receptionist, "Welcome to Harmony. Do you have a reservation?"

"Cooper." Lucien mutters.

The receptionist quickly types something in her computer and them smiles widely at us, "Very well, Sir. Please follow me."

She walks in front of us and leads us to where Lincoln and Serena were waiting for us.

Giving us the curt nod, the receptionist walks away.

We sit down beside each other with his parents in front of us.

All in all, this was the restaurant catering to the über rich population of the city.

It was... bleh!

I barely noticed the perky blonde waitress wearing a skirt so short that I could almost see her butt cheeks with a white unbuttoned top which could barely contain her big boobs as she continues flirting with Lincoln who paid no attention to her as Serena kept throwing daggers at her with her eyes.

As soon as we sit down at the table, her attention turns towards Lucien who picks up the menu card and looks at it with a bored expression.

"Hi everyone! Welcome to Harmony!" The waitress says cheerfully.

Serena sitting in front of me, leans closer to me and whispers, "I bet you five bucks that this floozy probably has a stripper's name."

I nod at her, "Okay. You're on."

I sit back and sip on my water. When the waitress gets no reply in return, she continues in her screechy voice, twirling her fingers in her hair, seductively, "Anyway... I'm here to serve you today. My name is Candy."

I choke on my water and give Serena a high five as she holds out her hand up high and we burst out laughing.

Lincoln and Lucien look at us with amused grins to which I just shrug and murmur, "Girl talk."

Serena winks at me, knowingly.

"People!" Candy snaps as no one pays attention to her. "What can I get you?" She turns towards Lincoln and Lucien completely ignoring me and Serena.

That hussy!

I look at Lucien and mumble, "I don't know about you guys, but I'm totally craving some hamburger, fries and OJ."

Lucien gives me an amused smile and chuckles.

"A hamburger? Are you even listening to yourself!? This is Harmony, sweetie. It takes people months to even get a reservation here." Candy yells out in a screechy voice making us cover our ears and wince.

I give her a dead panned look and ask, "Your point is?"

"You know..." Serena starts and winks at me, "I would love a hamburger too."

Candy gives Serena a weird look which we all ignore. Lucien nods at Lincoln, as if having a mental conversation to which Lincoln states, "Hamburger and fries for all of us but instead of orange juice, bring us a bottle of your finest wine."

She shoots me and Serena a glare but smiles sweetly at Lincoln and writes down the order on her notepad.

"Anything else?" She smiles at our men.

"Yeah..." Lucien speaks for the first time since we got here. Looking at her with his no-nonsense expression, he states, "Get us another waiter."

The fake smile on her face falls as she turns red and huffs loudly and walks away.

Ooh burn!

"I'm so proud of you Lulu." Serena wipes a fake tear and looks gratefully at Lucien.

Lucien just shrugs casually and smiles at us, "No one can ever talk to my woman and my Ma like that!"

I suck in a breath.

My woman.

Holy sprinkles on a doughnut!

I wrap my hand around his index finger beneath the table and give him a small squeeze.

He looks at me and winks, boyishly.

I turn around only to see two figures approaching our table.

"Robbie!" I yell out as I see Robert, Lucien's driver slash bodyguard walking up to us with an unfamiliar young guy with buzz cut hair and an intimidating expression which yelled, 'Fuck off!'

Robert smiles fondly at me and gives me a curt nod, "Miss Nina." Then turns towards Lucien's parents and does the same, "Mr. and Mrs. Cooper."

"Afternoon, Robert." Lincoln smile at him.

The guy standing next to me turns towards me and stares at me up and down with his icy grey eyes with an intimidating expression.

Robert immediately places a hand in front of me, and turns towards the guy and mutters, "Don't."

I look at Robert to see him staring back at the guy with a look that could send anyone running out of the country.

"Robbie, I swear to God, you look so badass right now. Can I take a selfie with you?" I mumble in awe and give him a hopeful look.

Robbie and the guy give me an amused look as their lip twitches while Lucien and his parents burst out laughing.

I frown. What did I say?

Lucien pulls me close and kisses me on my cheek, "God, sweetness! You're so cute sometimes."

I huff and roll my eyes.

Lincoln clears his throat and introduces, "Sweetheart, this is Dash Hightower; my head of security. Dash, this is Nicolina Stark; Lucien's girl."

I don't even bother to correct him.

Dash turns to me and says, "I'm sorry, Miss Stark if I've made you uncomfortable. It's just that in my job, I have to assess everyone as a threat."

"Dash? As in Dash Parr?" I blurt out, still stuck on his name.

When everyone gives me a blank confused look, I explain, "Dash Parr? You know... from the animated Disney movie The Incredibles?"

When they continue with giving me same look, I ramble on, "You know... that small kid who has the superpower to run super fast? Oh come on! Does no one watch Disney movies around here?"

Their lip twitches simultaneously and they give me a wry look.

I narrow my eyes at Lucien and mumble, "Lucien Xander Cooper, don't you dare look at me with those accusing eyes. No one can ever be too old to watch a Disney movie!"

He chuckles and pinches my cheek, making 'You're so cute' face at me.

I turn to Robert and murmur, "Robbie, back me up and you'll be my favourite person in the whole world."

Robert smiles and repeats monotonously, "No one can ever be too old to watch a Disney movie."

I give him a cheeky grin and fist bump him, "My favourite guy."

He smiles back shyly.

Dash breaks the silence by blurting out, "I can't believe I imagined you as a threat. You're like a baby panda."

And... everyone bursts out laughing.

I puff out my cheek and mumble, "I hate you guys."

Dash and Robert turns towards Lincoln and give him a curt nod and walk back towards the elevator.

Another waiter rushes up to us and places the plates in front of us.

We all dig in and moan in contentment.

"I'm so happy I finally got to meet you!" Serena says as she hugs me as we proceed to part ways.

I hug her back tightly.

"See you around, baby girl." Lincoln says as he pulls Serena back into his arms.

"Yeah." I mumble, smiling.

"You too, Lucien." Lincoln murmurs.

Lucien smiles back and gives a curt nod.

"Bye." Serena waves at me as she gets into her car followed by Lincoln.

As the car drives by, Lucien looks at me, "Ready to go?"

I nod and smile.

We quickly walk into the parking lot, hand in hand and get on his bike and drive to our building.

Entering the elevator in silence, I look at Lucien to see him deep in thoughts.

I shrug and let him be.

As the elevator door open, I take the key in my hands as Lucien does the same.

"See you tomorrow." I whisper and open the door, entering my apartment.

"Nicolina." I turn around when he calls my name.

I blink twice and look up at me to see him staring down at me with a serious, solemn expression.

"Yeah?"

Taking a deep breath, he murmurs, looking straight into my eyes, his face firm, full of determination:

"Mark my words, sweetness. I don't know what the future holds for us but I definitely know for sure that you; Nicolina Snowee Stark are gonna be the mother of my future kids. Mark. My. Words."
