The duo continues to walk through the wasteland of an island as Dimitri takes a deep breath and says, "That was too close..."

"Yeah..." Byleth agreed, and asked, "You still in one piece?"

"Fortunately, yes!" Dimitri answered, "Just... what is that thing?"

"Honestly, I have no idea," Byleth responded, "Whatever that thing is. We need to take precaution."

"Of course," Dimitri agreed, and he suddenly started hearing footsteps, "Mm... do you hear something?"

"Yeah." Byleth said as she takes out her gun and shouts, "Who's there?!"

"Hello... Eisner..." A beautiful woman with short black hair points a gun behind the mercenary.

"Wha-What the!?" Dimitri gasped in shock, "H-How?!"

"I have a few tricks up my sleeves, boy," The woman responded, "Move one bit and I'll shoot."

"Ada... you Wesker scum." Byleth growled at her, "What the hell are you doing here?!"

"Hmph," The woman named Ada scoffed, "I have a feeling you would call me that."

"W-Who are you?" Dimitri asked in a demanding tone. "Who do you work for?!"

"Who I am isn't important." Ada told him, "What's important is that you come with me... or your precious bodyguard can kiss her head goodbye."

"Not in a million years, Wong." Byleth mumbled.

"What did you just say?" Ada asked her.

Byleth steps on her feet, causing Ada to drop her gun due to the intense pain and she gasps, "GAH!". Byleth pushes Ada down to the ground and pins her down. Ada throws Byleth aside and slams her into a tree. Byleth takes her gun and about to trigger it until Ada rushes in to pin Byleth to the ground.

"G-Fuck off!" Byleth shouted as she kicked her in the stomach and headbutted her in the forehead, causing her to back off.

"Ahh!" Ada screamed in mild pain.

Byleth stands up and tackles her to the ground while she has the gun pointed to her forehead.

"Dimitri! Grab her gun!" Byleth said, while keeping Ada pinned down.

Dimitri grabs the handgun and points it at Ada and says, "Don't move!" in a demanding tone.

"Tch..." Ada growled in annoyance.

"Now... tell us why you're here and why you're after the prince!?" Byleth asked, demanding the truth.

"Hmph..." Ada scoffed again as she said, "well, I guess the truth is... THIS!" before she throws down a smoke bomb, catching them off guard.

"Wha-What the!?" Byleth said, coughing slightly due to the smoke

"Come back here you coward!" Dimitri yelled as he starts triggering his gun and shooting randomly.

"Dimitri! Be careful with that gun!" Byleth told him off while trying to figure out where the bullets were flying.

Unfortunately, as the smoke starts to clear out, Ada is nowhere to be seen, much to Byleth's annoyance and anger as she mumbles, "That snake... she got away!"

"Ugh... well... I'm alright, at least." Dimitri said awkwardly.

"Well, at least she got away empty handed." Byleth sighed of relief, "Sothis knows I don't want to lose my job... and I guess my life as well."

"So... would you please explain who on Earth is that?!" Dimitri asked, clearly angered and confused by the confrontation.

"An old business rival." Byleth told her, and explains, "Her boss wants to create and use the virus samples."

"Seriously?!" Dimitri gasped and commented, "How deplorable! What kind of insane monster would do such a thing!?"

"A bastard named Albert Wesker." Byleth told him.

"Albert? That is the most... normal sounding name for a monster I ever heard..." He said in a surprised and slightly amused manner.

"Agreed. That's the guy who caused the Racoon City incident. My associate still remembers the explosion..." Byleth referred to the past while explaining to the young prince.

"What? He was responsible for that incident that caused so many deaths!?" Dimitri said, clearly a disturbed by the mention of the incident.

"Yep. And if I didn't know any better, I'd say he's the one behind this." Byleth suspected.

"Ugh... I honestly hope not..." Dimitri hoped.

"I feel the same but it's very likely. We better watch our backs from now on. Ada could be following us." Byleth said.

"Most likely..." Dimitri mumbled.

"Yeah. Hm..." Byleth said, thinking about where the anti-virus would be before commenting, "Oh boy... this is gonna be rough."

"What is it?" Dimitri asked.

"In terms of where the anti virus could be, it could be back where that monster from before was." Byleth guessed.

"You have got to be kidding me." Dimitri blurted out in anger, "Is this some kind of twisted joke?!"

"Sadly, it isn't." Byleth commented, disappointingly.

"Ugh... I can't believe this is actually happening..." Dimitri mumbled.

"Trust me, I don't want to be in this situation either," Byleth told him, "But sadly, life is shit, so we have to deal with that."

"I suppose you are correct..." Dimitri agreed with her.

"I know. I'd get that gun ready." Byleth said, drawing a knife in case they encounter the creature again.

"Still... I do wonder who that monster is?" Dimitri admitted, and thinks, "And why do that thing feel familiar to me...?"

"I have no idea," Byleth answered, "Hopefully, we can find out sooner or later."

"I hope so as well." Dimitri agreed as the two continued on their journey back to the building.
