I also updated my profile by adding onto my discord username and server. Along with a few other stuff. It will be great if you guys offer up some ideas or improvements I can possibly use and don't worry, I will always give out credits.

Of course, I'm not going to accept every idea you have, to avoid too many things going on. Just ones that will fit in well somewhat. Apologies if your idea doesn't accepted into this fanfic, hopefully next time.

Byleth finishes tending her wounds as she slowly gets up. She takes a deep breath and readies her handgun, which isn't much to begin with, but it's better than nothing.

The mercenary walks slowly to avoid making her wounds worse. After all, she's not in a good physical state right now, so she looks at the building at a better look while she's walking. The building is pure black with blue lights surrounding it; making it look like it's from a science fiction movie rather than reality, especially even more weird when compared to her surroundings right now.

While she's walking through the pathway, she start hearing some weird moans out of nowhere. She stops and takes out her hand gun in preparation. She slowly glances besides her and sees something she thought only exists in horror movies...

A zombie is slowly walking towards her. She headshots it twice, but it barely did anything, making her eyes widen a bit until she glances at a strange red glow emitting from it's chest. Byleth shoots at it's heart, but it just deflects the bullet, which lands at the ground dangerously close to her feet.

"Mmm... ah!" Byleth gets an idea as she shoots at the zombie's leg, causing it to fall over.

She takes out her pocket knife while the zombie weakly stumbles about. The mercenary knees down on the zombie's head and carving it's back out where it's heart is located in. She grabs a hold of the heart, where she notices a small, red glowing stone attaches to it.

"What the...?" Byleth thought, until the zombie start struggling to get out from her knees.

She quickly stands up, throws the heart on the ground and, just before the zombie could grab her, she stomps on it, causing the heart to splatter on the ground and the stone cracks. The zombie becomes limbless... nothing more than a corpse now.

She looks down on the stone, where it's no longer as it's glow... now, it's just a dark red stone. She picks it up and inspects it from each corner, trying to figure what this stone is.

However, she hears some steps behind her and she glances behind her as she sees a small horde of zombies coming after her. She quickly drops the stone, slowly backing away and readies her handgun.

"I can't take them all on... especially if they're the same as the one I killed." Byleth thought. "I got to find a way to get around them... but how?"

Byleth looks around her surroundings while keeping her distance away from the zombies. The surroundings are nearly dead trees and a couple of crows resting on those tree. She gets an idea as she quickly grabs a hand grenade from her pocket, pulls off the safety handler and throws it at the tree.

This causes a small explosion and the tree collapses on top of the zombies; squishing most of them, where only three survived. She puts away her handgun and takes a M19 gun to avoid wasting her bullets.

She shoots at their legs, causing them to collapse on the floor. She runs away from them while running to the strange building to avoid wasting time.

"I don't have time for this!" Byleth thought, "I have to complete my mission right now!"

She stops as she sees three zombie dogs with exposed their musculature, rushing towards her. Byleth shoots one of them, which only stops it temporarily, while the other dog jumps on her and tries to bite her, but the mercenary grabs both sides of the dog's mouth, forcing her to drop her gun.

Byleth hits it in the stomach as hard as she could with her knee, which the zombie dog collapses to the floor. She grabs her gun and shoots it's brain out. The woman quickly rolls over as the one she stunned tries to jump on her, but misses.

She stands up and shoots at it's legs, causing it to trip over. She takes out her knife and carved out it's chest, where she found it's heart and throws it on the ground in the exact same way she did before.

She takes a deep breath and continues on her walk, hoping she doesn't come across any more of those freaks as she notices she's getting closer to the building.

(Meanwhile)

Dimitri taking a lot of deep breaths as he is covered in blood, sweat, a small bite mark on his right shoulder and a few scars, and holding a bloody iron pipe as his main weapon for the time being.

"Grr!" Dimitri growled as he slams a zombie's head right open to the nearest wall.

This causes the zombie's head to explode, where a strange, revolting looking spider with knife like legs and the red stone on it's back comes out from it's neck and jumps on Dimitri's face. The prince quickly smacks it with his pipe and break it's stone.

The disgusting bug splatter it's hemolymph all over the wall. Dimitri takes a deep breath as he looks around the hallway.

The hallway is very dusty, yet futuristic with black walls with blue, glowing lines surrounding it. He continues his lonely walk through the hallway while trying to be careful of his surroundings.

He rubs his shoulder caused by another zombie from earlier. Thankfully, he seems fine, but he notices his skin turn a bit more pale. He gulps a bit and hides in a small office filled with desks and such.

"Hopefully... I can find something important here." Dimitri thought as he decides to look around the room.

Unlike the hallway, it looks quite old where it's filled with spider webs, dust and a dirt that it feels like it haven't been used for a long time. This didn't deter the young prince at all as he keeps searching anything useful or important to give to the police.

"Ah!" Dimitri gasped as he tries to open up a desk, but unfortunately, it's locked. "Damn it... Wait!"

Dimitri rips off the lock as if it's nothing,. He opens up the desk, where he finds a pistol in it, but nothing else unfortunately. The young man groans, but takes the pistol anyways.

He looks up inside the pistol, but notices it has no bullets inside. He shakes his head and very tempted to just hit his head against a wall, but decide against it as he just looks around to find a sash for his new weapon.

He looks around the wooden floor and finds a worn out box, which he opens it and finds a black sash for his gun, though it looks a bit worn out. He just grabs the sash around his waist and puts the pistol inside of the sash. The blonde man opens up a closet... where a corpse suddenly falls on top of him.

"Gah!" Dimitri gasped in surprise as he pushes the corpse away from him. He looks down and notices the aeroplane pilot uniform of it.

Not only that, but the corpse isn't moving, meaning it isn't infected. The prince takes a better look at the corpse despite his inner discomfort of touching a corpse due to his... old experience.

"Ugh..."

(Flashback)

A younger Dimitri holding onto a little girl with brown hair, and lilac eyes, in fear while hiding inside of a closet as they witnessed mysterious figure on top of two grown adults; a woman and a man.

(Flashback ends)

"No... stop that, Dimitri!" He shouted at himself as he punches the closet, which he breaks it in half and creating a large amount of noise. "Oh crap..."

Suddenly, he hears a nasty hissing noise from the roof. He looks up and sees a revolting looking monster with it's skin is inside out, it's head is the same shape as a brain with no eyes, nauseatingly long tongue and dangerously sharp claw that one bad move, and he's cut in half.

The monster roars as it jumps at him, but Dimitri dodges as he grabs the full on desk and throws it right at the monster. It's a screeches is horrifyingly high pitch as it tries to claw it's way out.

Dimitri, with no hesitation, runs out of the office room and closes the door. He breaks the door knob out of desperation and runs away while clinging to his dear life.

"Somebody! Anybody! S-SAVE ME!" Dimitri thought in horror as, despite his super strength, is still just a seventeen years old boy regardless.

The monster claws it's way out by slashing at the door. It screeches as it start chasing after Dimitri.

A/N – Sorry if it's a little rushed. I don't know what else to write other than this. It might not be the best chapter, but hopefully next time, it will be better... I hope. This is what happens to writer's block and I don't want you guys to wait for months.
